Hogwarts: Harry Returns from Water Margin

Chapter 287 Draco's Enlightened Words

Hogwarts: Harry Returns from Water Margin Chapter 289

Meanwhile, everyone responded to Harry's call to join him in raising an army to fight against Voldemort.

Draco and the others, with their backs pressed against the stone wall and huddled in a corner, gave a few perfunctory responses to the crowd.

Seeing everyone's reaction, Harry clasped his hands in a fist and bowed, saying, "You all must think carefully. This uprising is extremely dangerous, and I do not have Voldemort's ability to bring the dead back to life."

"If anything goes wrong, then I will have truly confessed."

Before he could finish speaking, Fred stood on tiptoe, craned his neck, and shouted, "We still have to fight them! If we don't fight, we won't survive!"

George chimed in, "That's right! Everyone has to go hunting in the Forbidden Forest every day now, otherwise there simply won't be enough food!"

These words immediately sparked a chorus of agreement.

As the commotion subsided, Hermione cleared her throat and raised her voice, "Harry, just tell me, what should we do?"

Harry said, "If we're going to start an uprising, we need to find a stronghold to establish ourselves. Hogwarts is located in the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by rugged terrain, with only a few main roads leading in, making it easy to defend and difficult to attack."

"However, Lower Hogsmeade is now guarded by soldiers sent by the Ministry of Magic. The village is right next to us, like a thorn in our side. If we don't take it down first, we'll inevitably be stabbed in the back when we start fighting later."

"And the truth of Umbridge's death cannot be hidden for long. Tomorrow night, we will rise up in rebellion in Hogsmeade!"

Upon hearing this, everyone's blood boiled, and they all cheered loudly.

Cedric suddenly pushed his way out of the crowd in the badger yard and asked, "Shouldn't we change our clothes to distinguish friend from foe?"

"If we're going to launch a night raid, we might not be able to see people's faces clearly at night."

Harry nodded and said, "Brother is absolutely right."

Having said that, he pulled out his wand, turned around, and pointed. A piece of yellow cloth, about a foot square, tore off from the yellow banner with black characters that read "Acting on Behalf of Heaven," and landed right in Harry's hand.

He raised the yellow cloth above his head and declared loudly, "If you're afraid you won't recognize your own brothers, then let this be your proof!"

"Those who wear yellow turbans, yellow armbands, and yellow robes are all my brothers. Anyone who does not wear these colors, even if they are old classmates, friends, or teachers, should not blame me for the merciless nature of swords and spears; I will kill them without mercy!"

"At 11:00 PM tomorrow, start the uprising at Hogsmeade, and mark it with three shots."

Password: "The Blue Heaven is dead, the Yellow Heaven shall rise!"

The group memorized the password and then dispersed. Some went to sharpen the sticks, some to pack dry rations, and some to find strips of cloth to cut yellow turbans. They all moved with lightning speed and had fierce expressions on their faces, ready to take action the next night.

Draco and his group slipped away. They didn't dare stop and headed straight for a secluded spot.

After turning through three or five stone corridors until there was no sound of people around, Pan Xifang stopped, gripped Draco's arm tightly, and asked in a trembling voice, "Are we going too?"

"Draco, people could die!"

Crabbe and Goyle stood behind her, looking on anxiously. Draco didn't answer, his expression constantly shifting, before finally saying, "You wait here for me. I need to see Potter one more time."

Before Pansy and the others could reply, Draco turned around and headed back the way he came.

As Draco approached the door of the secret chamber, he suddenly heard a commotion inside, as if people were arguing. Startled, he dared not linger and tiptoed back a hundred paces to find a secluded corner to hide in.

Why was there so much noise in the Chamber of Secrets? It turns out that Harry had left all the leaders behind and was using a map of Hogsmeade to explain things to each place.

Where to set up ambushes and feign attacks, where to intercept and provide support; how to divide troops at entrances and exits, how to advance along each street—all these were assigned to specific personnel.

At first, the leaders thought it was a hasty uprising, but after hearing Harry's explanation, they realized that the attack on Hogsmeade was not a spur-of-the-moment act of bravery.

Once everything was settled, Harry reached for a letter and handed it to Ron, saying seriously, "Brother, we still have a lot to do tonight. Go through the secret passage in the Hog's Head and give this letter to Tonks."

Ron didn't ask any more questions, just nodded and said in a deep voice, "No problem, leave it to me."

He then hurriedly left with the other leaders.

Harry snapped his fingers, summoning a house-elf, and said, "Bring that awkward fellow out the door. I want to see who he is."

"Yes, Mr. Harry Potter!"

Before the words were even finished, there was another "snap," and the house-elf grabbed Draco and dragged him into the Chamber of Secrets. "Mr. Harry Potter, I've brought him here!"

When Draco came to his senses, he looked closely and saw Harry draw his knife and cut off Umbridge's head.

Harry picked up the severed head, sized Draco up and down, and said, "What the hell's the matter, you bastard, are you coming or not?"

Draco swallowed hard, forcing his eyes away from the man's head, and said, "Mr. Potter, I have a question I'd like to ask you."

"I'd like to know, what are your plans after you've overthrown the Ministry of Magic?"

Harry replied without hesitation, "Of course, it's to quell internal strife and coordinate the nations' united fight against Voldemort."

Draco's heart sank upon hearing this. He quickly asked, "What internal trouble are you referring to?"

Harry paused upon hearing the question, then walked over to Draco, patted him on the shoulder, and said with a half-smile, "To sweep away all harmful insects, you are invincible."

After saying that, he lifted his head and strode towards the principal's office.

Draco stood motionless, his mind a complete mess.

A pest?

What is a pest?

Do fairies count?

Where are the officials from the Ministry of Magic?

What about the Holy Race?

Are we the pests he's talking about?

With Harry's words still echoing in his mind, he stumbled out of the Chamber of Secrets. He walked for an unknown distance before finally spotting Pansy and the others waiting by a corner.

Pansy, with her sharp eyes, spotted him from afar and immediately jumped up and rushed forward, anxiously asking, "Draco! How are you? Are you alright?"

"What did you say to Potter?"

"Shhh."

Draco gestured for silence and frowned. "I'm wondering if Potter would be willing to let us nobles off the hook."

Upon hearing this, Pansy shuddered violently and forced a smile, as if trying to console herself: "Draco, I... I think you're overthinking it."

"Whether it was during Grindelwald's time or the Dark Lord's time, we were always spared, and it will be the same if Potter wins."

These words struck Draco like a thunderbolt from mid-air, hitting him squarely on the head. His mind, previously a jumbled mess, suddenly cleared up like a bolt of lightning, becoming crystal clear.

Yes, no matter who is in power, the twenty-eight sacred races can survive peacefully and then serve the ruler.

Aren't we just parasites in the magical world?

He glared at Pansy and said decisively, "Come with me to find Snape, then ask for leave and go home."

"If he won't approve my leave, then I'll just run home!"

Pansy was stunned and stammered, "Why, why?"

"Because we're finished."

Draco said urgently, "Neither the Twenty-Eight Holy Races nor any other noble families will exist anymore."

He then looked back at Crabbe and Goyle, "Sever ties with everyone in your family who was a Death Eater, or just sever ties with the entire family!"

Having said that, without waiting for Pansy's reply, he strode off to find Snape.

"It's not completely over yet—there's still a chance—yes, Potter has given me a chance—"

His chest heaved, and he muttered incessantly, then gritted his teeth and said, word by word, "The destruction of the Twenty-Eight Sacred Clans began with the Malfoy family."

The story goes: Five noble families and seven powerful clans encountered Huang Chao by chance; twenty-eight holy clans bumped into Scarface. This encounter turned thousand-year-old aristocratic families to dust, and ten-thousand-year-old dukes and marquises into decaying plants. The powerful and wealthy all lay on their graves, while only the white weasel burrowed into the earth. To find out what happens next, please read the next chapter.
