Hogwarts: Harry Returns from Water Margin

Chapter 53 Malfoy's Discourse on Potions in the Train Car

After driving away the Malfoys, Harry, Hermione, and the others bought their textbooks and left Flourish and Blotts.

As soon as Harry crossed the crossroads, he saw a burly man with broad shoulders and a thick waist. Harry noticed that he was more than a meter taller than an ordinary wizard, with a head of messy hair that was all over his head. Who else could it be but Hagrid?

He strode forward, slapped Hagrid on the thigh, and exclaimed joyfully, "Brother! We are truly destined to meet again here!"

Hagrid, startled by the slap, assumed it was another wealthy woman trying to molest him and yelled gruffly, "Whoever you are! Get away from me! I don't—oh, Harry, it's you."

"Ah, Ron, Hermione's here too. Long time no see."

Harry asked in surprise, "Brother, why are you so alarmed? Do you think I'm a stranger?"

"Oh...it's nothing, just a mistake." Hagrid bluffed, then picked up the bag and shook it. "Can you imagine? Expanded rye grass has gone up in price again."

"I remember this is sheep feed, right?" Hermione peeked over and asked curiously, "Do you raise a lot of sheep, Hagrid?"

"Oh yes, I raise a flock of sheep near the Forbidden Forest, probably a few hundred."

"Hundreds?!" Ron exclaimed. "Hagrid, what are you doing raising so many sheep?"

Hearing this, Hagrid looked troubled. "Because they are all Noberta's food—Noberta is Nober, and I only realized this summer that I had her gender wrong..."

This Norbert is the Norwegian Ridgeback Dragon from the black egg. Now, more than half a year has passed, and the dragon has grown to six or seven feet long. It lies dormant around the Forbidden Forest and has never encountered a natural enemy.

When Mrs. Weasley heard Hagrid mention keeping a dragon as a pet, she was horrified. "A dragon?! How could Dumbledore allow that? What if it harms a student?"

"Don't worry, madam." Hagrid winked at Harry and chuckled. "Professor Dumbledore cast a spell on Norbert, so she can only wander outside the Forbidden Forest and can't go near the castle."

Hearing him say this, Mrs. Weasley was finally relieved.

Harry and Hagrid hadn't seen each other for a long time, and they had a lot to say to each other.

Ron, however, couldn't contain himself. After saying goodbye to the two, he excitedly headed to Ollivander's Wand Shop.

It should be noted that the wand in his hand was the one his older brother Charlie used when he was studying at Hogwarts, and seven or eight years have passed since then.

This magic wand was not to his liking. Every time he chanted the spell, he felt the magic power dissipate and the wand would not obey his commands. It was truly a case of man and wand not being compatible.

Now that my pockets are full and I'm in Diagon Alley, why not replace this partner I'm living with?

The Weasleys were a bunch of people who only knew how to squander money and didn't know how to accumulate wealth, so Arthur and his wife stopped going to the secondhand robe shop and turned to Lady Mokin's robe shop.

Percy clutched the gold coin in his robes and headed straight for Giggs' Apothecary; Fred and George hurried towards the bouncy, playful Magical Joke Shop; Ginny looked around, and seeing that her parents and brother were nowhere to be seen, she looked at Harry expectantly and said:

"Harry, would you come with me to pick out an owl?"

Hermione glanced over and saw that Ginny's fingers were intertwined and her cheeks were flushed, so she knew that Ginny must be feeling shy.

Harry laughed heartily, "My sister has a request, how can I, as her elder brother, refuse?"

Having said that, she bowed to Hagrid, "Brother, you have excellent taste and are a learned scholar who understands animals. Would you mind accompanying my sister to the Eeyore Owl Shop to pick out an owl that suits her taste?"

Hagrid, being a straightforward man, nodded and said, "Don't worry, Harry, I'll help this little Wes pick out the best owl."

"Just like your Snow White."

After saying that, he patted Ginny, whose face was stiff, and said, "Come on, little girl, I'll take you to pick out an owl."

After Hagrid and Ginny had walked away, Hermione hesitated before speaking, "Harry...you really are..."

Before he could finish speaking, Harry had already headed straight for Madam Namogin's robe shop. "Would you like to go with me to order some robes, elder sister?"

"Oh, of course, my robes have also shrunk considerably."

Two or three hours later, Harry and Hermione finally waited for the Weasleys by the hearth.

These red-haired wizards all looked tired, yet they all had smiles on their faces. When Harry asked, he learned that Arthur and his wife had spent almost all of their Galleons.

It sounds like extravagant spending, but upon closer inspection, it's clear that it all went towards household expenses. Buying robes, pets, wands, medicine... it's a complete makeover.

Arthur simply felt the dough burning hot. Harry, however, just laughed, "The director is indeed incorruptible; all this gold is used where it's needed most, yet it's still not enough."

"I'll go to Gringotts again later."

Arthur and his friends had already taken a lot of gold and silver from Harry for nothing, so how could they possibly ask for more?

One by one, they pulled and dragged Harry until he turned around, went inside the hearth, grabbed a handful of flying powder, threw it away, and returned to the Burrow.

That evening, everyone gathered together, all dressed in new clothes and carrying new magic wands, to drink and make merry.

Even Ron and the other kids were allowed to drink some wine by Mrs. Weasley, who turned a blind eye to it.

The next day, Harry came to call for help as usual, summoning Ron and Hermione to train their muscles and bones.

Both of them were too drunk to get up, and seeing this, Harry said, "If you and your brother slack off, how are we going to deal with Malfoy when school starts?"

Upon hearing this, the two of them stood up and went downstairs with Harry to practice.

Day after day, month after month, the day school started arrived. The Weasleys packed their bags and called Harry and a few others to Station Nine and Three-Quarters.

Just before boarding the train, Arthur called out, "Harry! Hermione! Write to us if you have any questions!"

Mrs. Weasley chimed in, "Ginny! If you have any problems, just go to your brother!"

After giving these two instructions, the train headed towards Hogwarts.

"Oh, Ginny, go find an empty room first, we'll be there in a bit."

Ron gave them a word of advice and then went to find Harry and Hermione.

Fred and George were putting on a show in the front carriage, and Harry and Ron went to watch. Ron was also itching to join in, so he left the task of finding the carriage to Ginny.

Although Ginny was unwilling, Ron had already run far away, and she was all alone, so she had no choice but to slowly go and search for him.

I walked through several carriages and opened more than a dozen sliding doors, but they were all full of people.

Ginny was furious, and her movements became much rougher. She tried to pry open another door, but just as she put her hand on the doorknob, she heard a series of whispers inside, and the voices sounded familiar.

"This magic potion was bought for me by someone in America by my dad. It's specifically for building muscle."

"The lower-grade students at Iphamoni rely on this potion to fight."

Then, another unfamiliar voice came through, "But... but... are there really no side effects?"

"Then let me ask you, why did my father want to harm me? I am the sole heir of the Malfoy family!"
