Chapter 346 I was born for revenge, I am the night, Amortman

Chapter 346 I was born for revenge, I am the night, and I adore Batman.

An underground pork processing plant.

When Du Mu arrived, Batman was lying in the middle of a mess, his Batman suit torn to pieces, and he was already unconscious.

"Good grief, he actually got solo killed by a bot."

Du Mu was immediately amused when he saw this.

He had already learned the whole story from Ultron.

In short, Batman was poisoned by fear gas, which made him mistake his Spider-Man suit for an illusion, and he launched an attack, even activating a contingency plan specifically designed to target Spider-Man.

This, in turn, activated the safety mechanism pre-installed on Spider-Man's suit.

That was a backup plan left by Du Mu to prevent the Spider-Man suit from encountering troublesome enemies. It was a subsystem of Ultron, plus the second form of the enchanted equipment, which was equivalent to the Spider-Man suit version of Whiplash Robot.

The outcome is obvious.

Batman, lacking information on his second form, suffered another brutal first-time defeat, being single-handedly killed by Ultron, the humanoid robot.

Fortunately, Ultron determined that Batman was not a criminal and was not within the scope of his attack, so he did not kill him. Otherwise, if Batman had died in this way, the Joker would have been embarrassed to call him his nemesis.

Finally, after Batman was repeatedly rubbed against the ground by the Spider-Man suit controlled by Ultron, his unreasonable willpower finally broke down, and he passed out on the spot.

Du Mu maliciously speculated that Batman might have realized halfway through that he had made a blunder and was too embarrassed, so he chose to faint to escape reality.

Of course, he always welcomes this kind of thing.

It's rare to see Batman in such a disheveled state; it has to be recorded.

Du Mu turned on the camera and took a series of 360-degree shots of the unconscious Dark Knight. He then asked if he could take a photo with him. After receiving permission, he stepped on the Dark Knight's head with one foot and struck a victory pose with his arms bent, showing off his biceps.

After collecting hundreds of photos, he finally put on the Spider-Man suit with satisfaction, squatted down, and patted Batman's cheek.

"Wake up, you're not allowed to sleep here."

After a few dull thuds, Batman's eyelids trembled, and he slowly opened his eyes.

Perhaps due to the severe strain on his body, his brain was still in a state of flux, and it took him several seconds to come to his senses and recall what had happened before he lost consciousness.

Batman's face stiffened: "You're not an illusion."

Now he understands what happened.

Because he had inhaled the fear gas so many times that his body had developed resistance without him realizing it, the effect of the fear gas injected by the scarecrow did not take effect immediately, but was delayed for several minutes.

It was this visual delay that made him mistake the Spider-Man suit for an illusion.

Du Mu laughed heartily: "I never said I was."

"Then why haven't you explained?"

Du Mu did not hide anything: "Because that is not me, but the artificial intelligence on my battle suit. It will only retaliate automatically when you attack it."

Batman felt even worse after hearing this.

The one who defeated him was not Du Mu himself, but a machine.

Du Mu didn't care whether he was in pain or not, and pointed at him: "So the fault is entirely yours. Now you've caused serious damage to my battle suit, and you have to pay for the repairs. I'll round it down for you, but let's say a few hundred million."

Batman glanced at the Spider-Man suit, which was almost intact except for some scratches on the surface, and his eyelids twitched slightly.

"We'll talk about that later; there are more important things to deal with right now."

Batman looked at Du Mu, his tone becoming more serious: "Spider-Man, I know you're a superhero, and although your methods were a bit extreme, you can still be considered a good person, albeit barely, maybe, possibly."

Du Mu asked in surprise, "You actually admit I'm a good person? Then what's with that insecticide operation plan you devised for me?" "Ahem, don't worry about the details."

Batman cleared his throat and continued, "In short, I need your help. There's a group of supervillains on the run who are extremely dangerous to this city. Someone has to stop them and send them back to prison."

Du Mu asked in surprise, "Why don't you just come?"

Batman shook his head: "Don't let my appearance fool you, my body is already at its limit, and I could lose consciousness at any moment."

Du Mu dismissed it: "It's no big deal. You can just shout 'I admire Batman,' that's cheating."

Batman frowned: "Spider-Man, I'm serious."

"I'm serious."

Batman took a deep breath, his expression turning serious: "Spider-Man, Gotham needs..."

Before he could finish speaking, he fell forward and landed face down on the ground.

His status bar showed that he was in a deep coma.

"If you need anyone, then finish what you're saying."

Du Mu squatted down and patted Batman's face, but this time there was no reaction.

NPC Bruce Wayne has given you a quest.

[Mission: Gotham Needs Batman]

[Objective: To bring Batman to justice the fugitive supervillain (0/7)]

[Reward: Determined based on contribution to the task]

Du Mu stared at the task panel for two seconds: "System, are you sure he meant Gotham needs Batman?"

The game system did not respond and defaulted.

Du Mu was speechless.

But the mission requires Batman to arrest the supervillain, so the only option right now is to wake him up again.

He was about to pull out a prop to forcibly reboot Batman when he suddenly stopped halfway through reaching out.

wrong.

The mission simply required Batman to arrest a supervillain; it didn't stipulate that Batman had to be Bruce Wayne.

Just like Spider-Man, it doesn't necessarily have to be Peter Parker; it could also be Du Mu.

Since rewards are calculated based on contribution, the fewer participants the better.

Du Mu looked down at the unconscious Bruce and chuckled, "Badass, for the sake of Gotham, I can only ask you to make do for a while."

Without hesitation, he began to strip Batman's tattered suit, his technique quite practiced, indicating this wasn't the first time he'd done this.

This time, however, he didn't even spare the bat helmet. Ignoring the helmet's protective mechanisms, the various gases and currents it emitted, he directly removed the helmet, revealing Bruce Wayne's face underneath.

"What?! Batman is Bruce Wayne?!"

Du Mu feigned surprise to show his respect.

Then he took out a forging hammer and started hammering the Batman suit. After a few blows, the suit, which was originally shattered beyond recognition, was instantly restored to its original condition.

"Ultron, implant the Batman suit system."

"Injection successful."

Du Mu took off the Spider-Man suit and put on the Batman suit, only to find that it didn't fit quite right.

Bruce is a muscular hunk with double doors, and his height is estimated to be at least 1.88 meters. The suit is a size too big for his shoulders and legs, and it looks loose on him.

Du Mu slapped his forehead: "Oh dear, I forgot to remove my disguise."

As he spoke, he opened the character creation system, and his body instantly expanded, perfectly filling out the entire Batman suit, even feeling a little tight.

Du Mu, with the double-door refrigerator on his head, nodded in satisfaction: "Yes, this is how I was originally."

"My Lord, a communication request has been received. Do you wish to answer?"

Answer the call.

Soon, a worried voice came through the channel: "Sir, are you alright?"

Upon hearing this, Du Mu immediately guessed the other party's identity; it must be the legendary butler Alfred Pennyworth, Batman's logistical backbone.

He replied, "Your husband can't reply to you right now."

Upon hearing the unfamiliar voice, Alfred's tone suddenly tightened: "Who are you? Where is the original owner of the suit?"

Du Mu chuckled and said, "I'm Spider-Man, and now Batman... well, Bruce Wayne is currently in a coma and can no longer move around, but don't worry, I'll call a car and take him back to Wayne Manor later."

This was quite a lot of information, and Alfred remained silent for several seconds.

"Thank you for your kind offer, Mr. Spider-Man, but Gotham isn't safe enough. Let me come and pick you up myself."

Du Mu thought about it and realized he was right.

Given Bruce's status, if he were to call a car to take him back to Wayne Manor, Alfred would likely receive a ransom note from the kidnappers that very day, or years later, a dozen or so children claiming to be Bruce's biological offspring would suddenly appear and demand a share of the inheritance.

"Okay, I'll send you the address."

"Thank you for your help, sir."

After the call ended, Du Mu sent the coordinates, then dragged the unconscious Bruce to the corner and laid him down. He then tore off a few pieces of pork and covered Bruce with them to prevent him from being taken advantage of.

After doing all this, Du Mu stood up and walked toward the scarecrow that Bruce had knocked unconscious at the beginning.

Without any hesitation, he grabbed the scarecrow by the collar, lifted it up, and slapped it more than a dozen times.

The scarecrow was forcibly turned on, looking completely bewildered: "Am I back in Arkham Asylum?"

As is customary, after being knocked unconscious by Batman, he would wake up in his cell at Arkham Asylum, which almost became his resurrection fountain.

"Unfortunately, no."

Du Mu used a bow-tie-shaped voice changer to imitate Batman's iconic low-pitched voice.

"Batman!"

The scarecrow, seeing Du Mu disguised as Batman, shuddered in fright: "You, what do you want?"

Du Mu said in a deep voice, "I'm in a good mood today, so I'm letting you go. But if I see you again, I'll definitely send you to Arkham Asylum, understand?"

The scarecrow was a little confused.

Batman actually let him go? What's going on here?

The scarecrow tentatively asked, "Are you really willing to let me go?"

Du Mu did not answer, maintaining Batman's taciturn style.

The scarecrow gritted his teeth and tried to walk towards the door, only to find that Du Mu was really standing there, not stopping him at all.

His eyes lit up, and he immediately took off running, rushing straight out of the underground pork processing plant.

"I'm paying for it for free!"

The scarecrow spreads its arms wide, and the evening breeze caresses its face, carrying the scent of freedom.

Before he could run a few steps, a tall figure suddenly blocked his way.

"Which dares to block my way...?"

He looked up and saw a familiar bat helmet.

"We meet again."

scarecrow:

'

Du Mu punched the scarecrow back to its dreamland, then took out a steel cable, tied it up like a rice dumpling, and hung it on a lamppost.

[Objective: To bring Batman to justice the fugitive supervillain (1/7)]

It works!

It seems the mission only recognizes Batman as an individual, not the people within the Batman universe.

That makes things much easier.

Du Mu grinned, his eyes gleaming with white light.

"I was born for revenge, I am the night, and I adore Batman!"

A huge garden in midtown Gotham.

A red-haired woman in a green bodysuit leaned back in a wicker chaise lounge, twirling a vine between her fingers, and looked up at her best friend who was leaning on the railing not far away.

"Little Peanut, why didn't you come with your Pudding this time?"

"Don't even mention it. He said he's preparing to play a game with Batman, the really, really important kind, and told me to get lost and play somewhere else."

Harley rested her chin on the rusty iron railing, her twin ponytails, one blue and one pink, were gone, and she looked listless.

The red-haired woman sneered, "I told you long ago, no man is any good. You should have listened to me and left that guy a long time ago."

Harley objected: "Little Ivy, you're not allowed to talk about my Pudding like that. He's different."

The red-haired woman rolled her eyes, looking at him with a disappointed expression.

In her opinion, her best friend's man was a complete domestic abuser who tormented her best friend in various ways every day.

Unfortunately, my best friend is a hopeless romantic and firmly believes that those are just special flirting techniques between couples.

Who flirts with a kilovolt current?!

Unfortunately, the red-haired woman hates all electronic products and doesn't even own a cell phone, otherwise she would have already posted that scumbag online on some popular app.

These two women are none other than Gotham's infamous supervillains, Poison Ivy Pamela Aisley and Harley Quinn.

They were originally imprisoned in Arkham Asylum, but when the Jokers attacked Arkham, they also escaped in the chaos.

Harley was originally running away with the Joker, but the Joker said he wanted to play with Batman alone and no one was allowed to disturb their time together. So he kicked her out of the car and sped away.

What could Harley do but watch the departing car and say, "Ugly boy, you must be happy and joyful."

Poison Ivy, who happened to be passing by, saw Harley and dragged her straight back to her garden.

Poison Ivy, seeing her stubborn best friend, gave up on trying to persuade her to break up and changed the subject, saying, "You should stay here with me for the next few days. Batman is probably out there searching for us all over the city right now, so staying here is the safest option."

Upon hearing this, Harley's eyes suddenly lit up: "Wait, what if I caught Batman and gave him to Pudding as a gift? Wouldn't he be very happy?"

Poison Ivy:

It seems her best friend has really been traumatized by domestic violence; she dared to have such an outrageous dream even without sleeping with her.

Poison Ivy kindly advised, "You'd better not mess with Batman, or I might not be able to protect you either."

Harley Quinn shrugged it off, patting her chest with confidence: "Batman? If he dares to show his face in front of me, I'll make him..."

Just then, a gust of wind swept by without warning, and Poison Ivy and Harley's long hair were simultaneously lifted by the blast wave.

A loud explosion then erupted behind them.

Bang! !

The two of them turned to look at the same time.

Suddenly, a spiderweb-like hole appeared on the brick wall behind them, with cracks radiating outwards from the center, and broken bricks falling down in a flurry.

In the very center of the pit, a batarang was almost completely embedded in the wall, with only a tail fin less than half a centimeter long protruding from the outside, which was enough to show how terrifying the power contained within it was.

Glug!

Harley swallowed hard and looked up at the familiar black figure.

"Actually, I was just kidding, hahaha, isn't it funny?"
