Douluo Continent: The Underworld Emperor Halosa Lets Three Fly

Chapter 95 Mystery, From the Temple of Douluo
Harosa's divine sense, like a cold probe, instantly detected the almost overflowing fear and surprise emanating from the two demon gods' consciousnesses—"Oh no?! It's Atong, Atong has recovered!"
This sudden mental shock caught Harossa off guard even more than the Lava Blade Demon's massive blade sweep.
One moment they were mortal enemies, locked in a life-or-death struggle, wishing they could grind him, this "Douluo Man," to dust; the next, their divine sense was filled with an almost desperate urgency as they roared at him:
"Douluo people! Follow us! If A-Tong comes out, we're all going to die!!!"
As Harossa rode atop the massive, icy skull of the Water Dragon King's undead, a sense of utter disbelief and absurdity appeared for the first time in his greyish-white eyes. He felt his prized logic and reasoning being severely challenged by the chaotic laws of the demonic plane.
"What's going on?!" Harosa thought to himself, speechless. "They were just trying to kill me, and now they're begging me for help? And they want me to run with them? Is this how it works?! They've got the script all backwards!"
The two demon gods—the Lava Blade Demon and the Shadow Assassin Demon—were fleeing in one direction at a speed far exceeding their previous battle speed, without looking back. Their enormous figures drew two scorching energy trails under the burning sky, exuding a sense of panic as if the end of the world was approaching.
The massive heads of the Water Dragon King and the Fire Dragon King tilted slightly, and the grayish-white soul flames burning in their eye sockets seemed to convey a hint of doubt. Their enormous bodies hovered in the air, cold air and lava flowing between their bones, awaiting their master's command.
Harosa's eyes flickered, his mind racing. That aura just now was definitely not something those two demon gods could fake.
Moreover, the way Shadow Assassin Demon and Lava Blade Demon fled at this moment completely abandoned their hostility towards him, a "Douluo Man," leaving only pure survival instincts, which cannot be faked.
It seems that the being called Atong poses a great threat to these two demon gods.
"Follow him and see!" Harosa made a decisive decision, issuing a mental command instantly. "Keep your distance! Be prepared to retreat at any time! If necessary, just run away! I want to see who this 'Atong' is, that he can scare these two fierce-looking guys so much!"
"Roar!" The Water Dragon King's undead roared, its huge ice bone wings flapped violently, stirring up a storm of ice crystals, and its massive body suddenly accelerated.
The undead Fire Dragon King followed closely behind, its lava skeleton trailing a long, crimson tail of flame as it flew at high speed, like a falling lava meteor. Harosa stood firmly atop the ice dragon's head, a gray-brown, decaying wood-colored halo bobbing behind him, the Underworld Chant tightly clenched in his hand.
It appeared to be a chase, with three streaks of light (two enormous demonic figures and one riding a dragon) speeding across the burning sky of the demon plane.
Below lay an endless, twisting mountain range of bones and a boiling sea of lava. The twisted black rocks resembled painful scars on the earth, and the air was filled with the eternal aura of sulfur and destruction. There was no sign of "life" as defined by Douluo, only chaotic energy roaring.
Under Harosa's personal control, the speed of the Water Dragon King's undead was pushed to the limit. As the icy aura swept over, a thick layer of black rock instantly solidified on the surface of the churning magma below. Then, when the scorching tail flames of the Fire Dragon King swept over from behind, it exploded with a bang, spewing magma, creating a bizarre and spectacular scene.
Soon, a solitary peak came into view. Like a giant black spear piercing the sky, it was composed entirely of a dark, metallic-looking rock, its surface covered with the marks of time, massive claw marks, and impact craters. Halfway up the mountain, it seemed as if a colossal axe had cleaved away a large chunk, creating a broad, flat plateau. On this plateau stood a majestic temple.
The stench of sulfur permeating the air, the churning dark red magma clouds below, and the increasingly clear outline of the temple in the distance, with its ancient Douluo style, all felt incredibly real.
As they drew closer, the temple's details became increasingly clear. When Harosar discerned the architectural style, his pupils constricted sharply!
"Ancient Douluo style?!"
The temple's base is constructed of massive square stones, exhibiting an ancient and imposing style. The stone pillars are thick, and the carvings on their surfaces are now blurred and indistinct.
The animal and vine-like patterns are exactly the same as the architectural drawings of Douluo Continent from 20,000 years ago preserved in Shrek City!
Although the main structure of the temple was magnificent, it now appeared extremely dilapidated. Many stone pillars were broken and collapsed, and the walls were covered with cracks and charred marks, as if it had survived a fierce battle. Yet, it was precisely this dilapidated temple that exuded a chilling divine aura.
As he drew closer, the increasingly clear divine pressure emanating from the direction of the temple, cold and vast, carrying an evil aura that shared the same origin as the Nightfall Fallen Angel Martial Soul but was even more ancient and pure, crashed against his senses like an invisible tsunami.
"How could there be relics from the ancient Douluo era in this Demon Plane?!" The doubts in Harosa's heart instantly became extremely heavy. "Could it really be the work of Xiao Sanzi (Tang San)? While he was setting up the Abyss, he also planted spies in the Demon Plane?" This thought sent chills down his spine. Tang San's scheming was far more profound than he had previously estimated.
It's possible. Although it wasn't written in the original work, Tang Jia San Shao is just a writer. How could he understand Xiao Sanzi's personality? The original work couldn't have fully described Douluo Continent.
He instinctively gripped the Netherworld Lament, the cold touch of the blade reminding him to remain absolutely vigilant.
Without the slightest hesitation, the two demon gods, like two out-of-control meteorites, crashed through the already dilapidated and massive stone gate of the temple and rushed inside, leaving behind only a cloud of dust.
Harosa commanded the undead water and fire dragon kings to stop steadily in the air, hundreds of feet away from the temple entrance. This distance was enough for them to react and clearly perceive the movements inside and outside the temple.
He did not rush in, but instead spread his divine sense like the most intricate spider web, carefully examining the structure and energy flow of the temple. The interior of the temple was like the center of a huge energy vortex, and the aura called "Atong" was like the eye of a storm, rapidly growing stronger. Every fluctuation caused the entire solitary peak to tremble slightly, and rocks to fall.
Just as Harosa was intently investigating, a tremendous energy storm suddenly erupted within the temple!
"Boom!!"
With a shrill cry that seemed to come from the ancient wilderness, filled with endless resentment and rage, the entire temple shook violently! The broken stone door shattered with a deafening roar, turning into dust everywhere! The two enormous figures were struck as if by an invisible giant hammer, and were thrown out of the temple at an even greater speed than when they rushed in!
It was the Lava Blade Demon and the Shadow Assassin Demon!
The Lava Blade Demon's prized lava heavy armor was covered in deep claw marks and charred burn marks; some plates had even shattered and peeled away, revealing wounds beneath that flowed dark golden blood. The greatsword in its hand had dimmed, and its aura fluctuated violently, filled with shock and rage.
The Shadow Assassins were relatively agile, but their bodies, covered in dark purple carapaces, were riddled with dents and cracks. One of their tails drooped limply, and their scythes were stained with a viscous, ominous dark purple liquid. They tumbled several times in the air before finally regaining their footing, stopping ten feet in front of Harossa. Their massive bodies trembled slightly, and their gazes toward the temple entrance were filled with undisguised terror.
It looks like it got beaten up, but how come its core isn't damaged?
They almost immediately turned their gaze to Harosa, their spiritual energy surging like a tidal wave, filled with unprecedented urgency and a hint of pleading.
"Douluo people! Come help us! If Atong comes out, we will all die!" Shadow Assassin's divine sense shrieked.
