Chapter 253: Honored
Chapter 253: Honored
Fairy Tale Square has made a name for itself.
This is beyond doubt.
Almost every wizard who entered the shop was enthusiastically discussing it—it opened quietly and then began selling rare creations that were enough to change the entire magical world.
What's most memorable is that they couldn't get any at all.
Unrequited love always lingers in one's memory.
"Invitation system... From now on, only seventy invitations will be issued each month for a limited time, and only guests with invitations will be allowed to enter the store that month..."
A wizard walked out of Fairy Tale Shop, realizing that the shop was far more complicated than they had imagined—it was by invitation only!
He looked outside and saw a bunch of reporters blocking the way—the shop was under a powerful spell, and reporters who weren't allowed to pass couldn't get in.
Even so, these reporters did not dare to report recklessly.
Anyone with a keen eye could tell that the person who went in was the head of the Chocolate Frog Committee's information gathering department. What does that mean?
The last wizard this manager interviewed was Dumbledore.
You can imagine that there is a character similar to Dumbledore in this shop.
Moreover, he is someone who, to some extent, possesses abilities comparable to Dumbledore, but not necessarily the character of Dumbledore.
Unsure whether Grindelwald was inside the store, no one dared to make any rash moves.
As soon as Sheen stepped out of Fairy Tale Square, he was surrounded by the twins.
"Great Green, have you discovered anything?"
Fred, wearing a tall hat, asked impatiently.
"We saw you go in. What does this rival shop sell?"
George seemed to have just finished working at the magic shop. He wanted to go in, but found that the fairy tale shop was closed.
This puzzled him; the sun was shining brightly, and it was only afternoon.
"A rival...shop?"
Sheen was carrying a stack of books, all of which were Professor Quirrell's books on ancient runes.
He couldn't quite understand Gemini's thinking, because the two shops had completely different customer groups, so how could they be considered enemies?
"Of course! Enemy—the shop!"
Fred was absolutely certain.
Although she didn't know why Professor Quirrell and the Weasley twins were hostile to each other, Sheehan explained:
"Fairy Tale Shop sells cookies that can transform into magical creatures."
This is news that will spread soon, and it's news that Sheen doesn't intend to hide.
"Merlin—"
Fred yelled.
"We're going bankrupt."
George also shouted.
Without fully understanding what was going on, Sheen walked away, preparing to pack his bags and leave the humble abode.
Professor McGonagall will come to pick him up tomorrow.
……
The flames in the fireplace flickered and vanished, and Sheen appeared in the small house filled with books.
Before leaving, he wanted to see the flying cars. Fred and George had promised to explain it to him, but they were too busy these past two days, so they postponed it to this last day.
"Wait for me!"
Ron ran out of his room, which was on the sixth floor of the Burrow, below the attic. Everything there looked like a bright orange-yellow, and the walls were covered with posters of the Chadli Artillery.
Fred and George kept their promise and returned very early.
They studied flying cars together until very late.
Life in the Burrow was always noisy yet pleasant, with wizards making full use of their magical abilities to make their lives simpler and more efficient.
Sheehan had a good time here, and more importantly, he finished his summer homework.
The next morning.
A sliver of sky peeked through the thick curtains, cool and clear like diluted blue ink—a color between night and dawn. All around was quiet.
In the stillness, the clinking of plates from the humble dwelling was the first sound to break the silence.
Sheehan and Ron went downstairs for breakfast and found the Weasleys and Ginny already sitting at the table.
Ginny is a shy little witch whose image is very similar to that of the Little Witches.
However, she was more reserved, and each time she would quietly stand in the garden and watch Sheen direct the goblins to line up and eat the roots of plants from other places.
She listened to Sheen talking about things like "sustainable development" and "not exhausting resources," and she didn't quite understand but found it impressive.
Sometimes Sheen would practice Transfiguration in the back garden of the Burrow, and a head would grow out of the window and watch him intently.
As the two were going downstairs, Ginny accidentally knocked over her bowl of porridge, making a loud noise.
But nobody cared; everyone seemed a bit distracted.
Mrs. Weasley didn't hum a song today, and the twins cried and wailed, clinging to Sheen's leg and refusing to let him leave.
Percy couldn't bear to look. He sat down in the last remaining chair, but immediately jumped up and pulled out a wispy gray feather duster from under his bottom—at least that's what he thought it was—only to discover that it was actually breathing.
"Errol!"
Ron screamed in alarm.
He took the sickly owl from Percy's hand and pulled some newspapers from under its wings.
The title of "The Daily Prophet's Ten Years of Important Impact" is written in large letters:
"The Chocolate Frog cards have received a major update."
"It's been updated?!"
Ron was very excited.
The largest photo in the Daily Prophet is a chocolate frog card.
Surprisingly, the image on the card only shows a back view, which appears profound and captivating under the sole beam of light on the dark card.
What's even more surprising is that he's too young. No matter how you look at it, this figure belongs to an underage wizard.
"Let me see—"
Everyone at the table received a newspaper, and exclamations of surprise rose and fell.
"Hermes, hailed as the Triple Great, is the Chocolate Frog Card Committee's candidate for the greatest wizard of the 21st century."
His honors include:
Gold Medal for Pioneering Contribution at the Udala International Alchemy Congress; Invited Guest of Today's Transfiguration Century (Uninterrupted to be interviewed); Alchemy Legend of Seizing Power from Magical Creatures.
The Chocolate Frog Card Committee's assessment: "It won't be long before the stagnant world of alchemy becomes a thing of the past. We celebrate the arrival of a genius worthy of being compared to Master Nicolas Flamel (a assessment acknowledged by Master Flamel himself)."
"Is what that old woman said true?"
Ron pulled out the previous issue of the Daily Prophet, where Rita's greasy and nauseating comments were prominently displayed.
The words "related to Hogwarts" triggered a crazy conjecture in Ron's mind.
He looked at Sheen's retreating figure as he left after finishing his meal; it wasn't just similar, it was exactly the same.
"That can't be you, can it, Sheen?"
His face flushed red, but he finally managed to ask the question.
Sheen remained silent for a while.
"I promise I won't tell anyone!"
Ron seemed to remember something and quickly added.
Lu will guarantee at least five updates per week at the beginning of the month.
Please, dear readers, cast some monthly votes at the beginning of the month.
The deer is bowing to you. (The deer's antlers are thumping on the ground.)
