Chapter 323, Section 322: Dobby, the "Savior"

Chapter 323, Section 322: Dobby, the "Savior"

Harry mumbled something in his throat, a sound similar to Anna the nurse's when she swore.

The auditorium has been much busier lately.

This is the first Quidditch match of the season.

And it's Slytherin versus Gryffindor.

As eleven o'clock approached, the entire school's faculty and students began heading to Quidditch Stadium. It was a hot and humid day, with distant rumbles of thunder in the air.

"Good luck."

Justin said to Harry as he walked into the locker room.

Everyone came to watch the game, even Sheen came—because he couldn't find Headmaster Dumbledore.

The headmaster winked at him from the Quidditch stands, with Professor Snape looking gloomy and Professor McGonagall looking equally grim beside him.

"It's undeniable that Slytherin's flying brooms are better than ours."

But the people on our flying brooms are better than them. We train harder and have flown in all kinds of weather conditions.”

Wood's voice was so loud at the locker room door that Sheehan and the others could hear it.

"—We'll make them regret letting that little rascal Malfoy pay to infiltrate their team!"

Wood's chest heaved with excitement as he turned to Harry.

"Harry, you're the most important! You need to let Malfoy know that as a Seeker, having a rich dad isn't enough."

"Either catch the Golden Snitch before Malfoy, or die on the field, Harry, because we have to win today, we absolutely must win."

"He let Harry die on the field?!"

Ron was dumbfounded.

"It's just a way of expressing it."

Hermione frowned as well.

Only Sheen silently looked at his wand, recalling that Dobby seemed to be going to make a move in this match.

If the Basilisk has been defeated, and Dobby's attempt to save Harry has inadvertently caused Harry great harm—

That's a classic Scottish lame joke.

In the stands, the noise grew louder and louder, as Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff both hoped to see Slytherin defeated, but at the same time, boos and jeers from the Slytherins could also be heard from the crowd.

Referee Ms. Hooch asked Flint and Wood to shake hands, and they glared at each other with menacing eyes and gripped each other's hands unnecessarily tightly.

"Sheen? What are you looking at?"

It started to rain, but Justin's umbrella arrived even faster than the rain.

Lee Jordan's passionate commentary, amplified by the powerful sound of his voice, resonated throughout the arena. Justin, wearing binoculars, quickly understood what was happening.

"Slytherin takes the lead, 60-0! I must say, their ball movement today is absolutely ferocious. It must be sensing my frustration, though. Why isn't Angelina responding?"

"Jordan! I'm reminding you."

Professor McGonagall roared.

"Excuse me, Professor. Look! The ball nearly knocked Harry's head off!"

Lee Jordan shouted.

"What happened?"

On the pitch, Wood shouted, as several Gryffindor players gathered together. Slytherins in the crowd scoffed, "We've been beaten. Fred, George, where were you when that traveling ball stopped Angelina from scoring?"

"We're twenty feet above her, stopping another loitering ball from killing Harry, Wood."

Someone tampered with that ball—it wouldn't let Harry go, and throughout the entire match, it didn't chase anyone else. The Slytherin team must have sabotaged it.

George said angrily.

"Listen. You two are flying around me non-stop, and I have no hope of catching the Golden Snitch unless it crawls into my sleeve."

You guys go back to the other players; let me deal with that out-of-control ball myself.

"Harry said. Ms. Hodge gestured, as if to investigate the situation at the scene."

"Don't be silly, it'll smash your head off."

Fred said.

"If we stop now, we'll be disqualified!"

Harry shouted stubbornly, his hair, soaked through by the rain, now plastered to his scalp.

"It's all your fault. Either you caught the Golden Snitch, or you died on the field." You've lost your mind saying something like that to him!

George was furious and even elbowed Wood.

"Is there a problem?"

Ms. Huo Qi's voice came through.

"Fred, George, you both heard Harry. Leave him alone and let him deal with that bouncing ball himself—"

Wood's hand clasped Harry's, and he looked at Harry's resolute face. "We're okay!"

As they gathered, Slytherin scored another goal, and the stands erupted in even greater jubilation.

"There's definitely something wrong with that wandering ball!"

"Hermione is wearing a raincoat," she said urgently.

"Is Harry really going to die on the field?"

Ron was stunned.

"Everything will be alright."

A calm voice came from behind.

On the Quidditch pitch, the rain was now falling harder, the raindrops pattering against Harry's glasses.

"Are you practicing ballet, Potter?"

Malfoy yelled as Harry had to spin around in the air like an idiot trying to avoid the Blink-Ball.

Harry dove away as fast as he could, and when he looked back, he was almost terrified—a swimming ball was only a few feet away from him!

Just as it was about to hit him, the ball stopped, as if an invisible force had stopped its attack.

He instinctively turned his gaze to the stands, where, through the rain, that reassuring figure had already raised his wand.

"Sheen!"

He exclaimed in surprise and turned around.

"What?"

Malfoy, who had been mocking him, widened his eyes in horror when he saw Harry turn around: Harry was facing him, and he thought Harry was going to bump into him.

And in the stands.

Sheen had some insights.

His method of controlling the Quidditch ball was simple: when the Quidditch ball was about to hit Harry, he would cast a barrier spell.

Dobby kept trying to take possession of the ball from him, but the master-level obstacle spell was no less powerful than the magic of a house-elf.

"What happened to the ball?"

Hermione breathed a long sigh of relief and looked at Sheehan, who was silently casting a spell; she had gained another target.

"I suspect it's a misunderstanding."

Justin said with a smile.

"What misunderstanding?"

Ron felt that Hogwarts was shrouded in mystery once again.

On the field, Harry and Malfoy were racing against time;

Off the field, Sheehan was battling with Dobby for control.

When he temporarily set aside the obstacle spell and used his own will to control the Wandering Ball, he could clearly feel something resisting him.

At first, Sheen was at a disadvantage, but soon his willpower prevailed.

Only then did he understand the description on the panel—you possess an indomitable will.
