Chapter 533: The Blood Man Barrow
Chapter 533: The Blood Man Barrow
"If I were you, Mischief, I would take the chewing gum out of the keyhole."
He said in a friendly tone, "Mr. Filch can't go in to get the broom."
However, Pipi Ghost completely ignored Professor Lupin's words, and just spat out a loud "Pui!"
Professor Lupin sighed softly and drew his wand.
"This will be a very useful little spell."
He turned to the whole class and said, "Please pay close attention."
Sheen observed Lupin closely; he knew this would be a special little spell.
Catapult spell.
This spell can launch objects as fast as bullets; it is a rare spell that specifically targets Peeves.
Lupin raised his wand to shoulder height, pointed it at Peeves, and said, "Vadivasi."
With a whoosh, the piece of chewing gum flew out of the keyhole like a bullet, heading straight for Pipi Ghost's left nostril.
But to everyone's surprise, the mischievous ghost somersaulted into the air and dodged the spell.
"You've made great progress."
Lupin was slightly surprised, but he raised his wand again.
The mischievous ghost shuddered and began to curse under his breath.
It scanned the entire group of wizards with resentment, and finally found the special one among them.
"Mr. Green—I've been looking for you for so long!"
Peeves spoke in a fawning tone that wizards had never heard before, and even Lupin stopped chanting his spell.
Sheen watched as the mischievous sprite flew toward him, then stood obediently at a distance.
This scene left the wizards somewhat bewildered.
Mischievous Ghost ———
"You were looking for me?"
Sheen asked in surprise.
"Yes—oh—no, it's Your Excellency, Your Excellency is looking for you—"
The mischievous ghost's face contorted into a grimace.
"I see."
Sheen seemed to be deep in thought.
"Hey, I've completed the task the lord gave me!"
Peeves let out an exaggerated laugh, then made a face at Lupin before disappearing into the floorboards. "I'll be back—you big idiot Lupin!"
Its echoes still lingered around the wizards.
Lupin flicked his wand slightly, and something flew towards Peeves with a "whoosh." The young wizards then heard Peeves' voice tremble and change to a louder tone.
"Great job, sir!"
Dean Thomas laughed and exclaimed in admiration.
"Thank you, Dean."
Professor Lupin put his wand away. "Shall we continue on?"
As they set off again, the students looked at Professor Lu Ping, who was dressed in thin clothes, with a sudden surge of respect.
He led them through the second corridor, and Hermione asked curiously as they walked, "How did you do that just now? Peeves doesn't even listen to the professor—"
"A ghost friend helped."
Sheen pondered for a moment.
"A ghost friend?"
Hermione muttered to herself.
She always felt that the entire Hogwarts belonged to Sheehan.
The last time he entered the Hogwarts kitchen, a group of house-elves surrounded Sheen in the very center;
Nine out of ten oil paintings in the corridor seem to want to greet Sheen.
Even in the girls' dormitory, Myrtle would occasionally appear to listen to their discussions about "Mr. Green".
Sheehan had said he had few friends, and Hermione didn't know why.
Outside the faculty and staff lounge.
Professor Lupin led the group of young wizards to a stop.
At this moment, Sheen was still pondering the invitation from the Blood Man Barrow.
It's not hard to guess what the Blood Man Barrow wants to do. If he's brave enough, Sheen is willing to help him return to the boundary between life and death.
But—where is he?
Mischievous Ghost forgot to tell Sheen.
"Go in."
Professor Lu Ping said he opened the door and politely stepped back.
The faculty lounge is a long room with wooden panels on all four walls and piles of mismatched old chairs.
There was only one teacher in the room.
Professor Snape sat in a low armchair.
As the students filed into the room, he turned around, his eyes gleaming, and a mocking sneer appeared on his lips.
As Professor Lupin entered and was about to close the door behind him, Snape said, "Don't close the door, Lupin. I'd better not witness this."
He stood up and strode past his classmates, his long black robe billowing behind him.
As he stepped outside, he turned back and said, "Lupin, I heard you used to work at a bookstore?"
Lupin raised his eyebrows: "I am employed by a respected wizard."
He said.
"You'd better spend your whole life teaching books at Hogwarts, Lupin."
Otherwise you'll find that no shop will accept you anymore.
Snape's lips twitched as he stared coldly at Lupin.
"That's probably not up to you to decide."
Lupin responded calmly.
—
Snape said nothing more, gave the young wizard a look that said, "I'll settle the score with you later," and slammed the door shut.
"alright."
Professor Lupin first glanced at Sheehan, then gestured for the students to walk towards the other end of the room.
There was only one old wardrobe there, where the teachers kept their spare robes.
Professor Lu Ping walked over and stood next to the wardrobe. Suddenly, the wardrobe shook and slammed against the wall with a thud.
"There's no need to worry."
Professor Lupin, seeing several students jump back in surprise, calmly said, "There's a Boggart inside."
Most students felt that this was exactly what they needed to worry about.
Neville glanced at Professor Lupin in horror, while Simon Finney stared tremblingly at the clicking cabinet door handle.
"Boggart prefers dark and enclosed spaces."
Professor Lu Ping said, "Wardrobes, gaps under beds, and cupboards under sinks."
This one was just moved in yesterday afternoon. I asked the principal to let the teachers keep it for my third-grade students to use in practical lessons.
Professor Lupin's class was not much different from what Sheehan had imagined.
Sheen cleared his mind for a moment, and his attention involuntarily drifted away.
In the past few days, many wizards have passed on a lot of messages to him.
Professor Trelawney said his third eye was about to open;
Peeves told him that Barrow the Blood Man was looking for him;
Professor Snape also————
Sheen looked at Professor Lupin with a slightly stiff expression. He was instructing Neville: "The spell to defeat the Boggarts is very simple, but it requires a strong will."
It's important to know that what truly brought Bogut to his demise was his laughter.
What you need to do is force it into an image that you find hilarious.
Professor Lupin said, "Neville, now it's up to you."
The wardrobe started shaking again, but Neville shook even more violently.
Neville walked forward cautiously, as if he were walking onto a gallows.
