Chapter 619, Section 617: The Missing Little Crouch

The stairs leading to the stadium were covered with a crimson carpet.

Sheen and his two companions climbed the steps with the crowd, and slowly the flow of people split into the stands on the left and right.

They kept walking up the stairs until they reached the top. They found themselves in a small box, located at the highest point of the stadium, directly opposite the golden goalposts.

There are about twenty purple and gold-plated chairs arranged in two rows.

"Sheen!"

Harry and the Weasleys are all here.

Justin and Hermione waved to him enthusiastically.

"Go, spend time with your friends."

"Minerva released Sheen's hand and said."

"go."

Snape's words were concise and derogatory.

Sheen walked over and was then pulled into the small group.

"Look down there!"

Ron said that this drew everyone's attention downwards.

They were completely unaware that Hermione and Justin were staring at Professor Snape's somewhat unnatural face.

One hundred thousand wizards were taking their seats one after another, the seats arranged in a stepped pattern around the oval stadium.

Everything here was shrouded in a mysterious golden light, a light that seemed to emanate from the stadium itself. From their elevated vantage point, the field appeared as smooth and flat as velvet.

Three pitching rings, each fifty feet high, were erected on each side of the field.

To their right, almost parallel to the private room, was a huge blackboard with golden characters flashing across it, as if an invisible giant hand was writing on it with flamboyant strokes and then erasing them.

Upon closer inspection, the young wizards realized that the flashing text was all GG for the audience to see.

Cornflower: A safe and reliable flying broom suitable for the whole family, featuring a built-in anti-theft buzzer.

Mrs. Scowle's All-Purpose Stain Remover: Effortlessly removes stains!

Sheen looked closely at the private room and, sure enough, found no trace of Shan Shan.

Shiny, the house-elf of Family Crouch, should have been here.

On the surface, it was there to help Barty Crouch secure his position, but in reality, it was there to keep an eye on Crouch Jr.

But it's not necessary now.

"Little Crouch, we can't be mistaken, sir. That's a man who should be dead, but we still saw him."

We don't believe he was in disguise, because Voldemort only needed his devout followers when he attacked Azkaban, and we happen to know that Crouch Jr. was one of those people.

Sirius's words still seemed to echo in Sheen's ears.

He could easily tell that Crouch Jr. was out of danger.

Although Voldemort had already given hints at this at Riddle Villa.

After the Azkaban incident, Sheen became even more certain that Voldemort's loyal servant had returned to Voldemort's side.

What about Auror Moody?

Has he been replaced by Crouch Jr.?

Sheen had no idea.

But when the new professors at Hogwarts arrive, Sheehan will know the truth of his guess.

Just then, the magic mirror vibrated.

Marcus: Where are you? Green, the box is packed with people, I can't see you.

Grandpa's coming soon, I bought you lots of delicious food.

Sheen silently made his way through the crowd toward Marcus.

His eyes were always sharper; the old wizard hadn't seen him, but he could clearly see the old wizard's white hair.

Beside him, Justin and Hermione were whispering, while Ron was excitedly peering through his binoculars.

"That's awesome!"

Ron fiddled with the playback knob on the side of the binoculars and said, "I can make that guy over there sneeze again—just once more—just once more—"

"There will be a performance by the team's mascot before the game."

Harry held a brochure and spoke softly.

"Oh, that's always worth seeing."

Sitting some distance away, Mr. Weasley said, "You know, the national teams have brought some exotic animals from their countries to put on a show here."

A large crowd surged into the private room. Sheen saw Marcus constantly shaking hands with people who were clearly high-ranking wizards.

Two seats behind him to the left, Percy stood up hastily again and again, looking as if he were sitting on the back of a porcupine covered in quills.

When Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge arrived, Percy bowed so low that his glasses fell to the ground and shattered.

He was extremely embarrassed. He fixed the lens with his wand and then sat there blankly.

"Harry! Oh, and Mr. Green, it's great that you're all here."

Fudge held Sheen's hand tightly, as if he were seeing an old friend.

"And Harry Potter, you know,"

He loudly proclaimed to the Bulgarian Minister of Magic behind him—a man in a magnificent black velvet robe trimmed with gold, who appeared to understand no English—"Harry Potter—oh, think about it, you should know who he is—the boy who escaped death from the clutches of the mysterious man—you must know who he is now."

The Bulgarian wizard suddenly noticed the scar on Harry's forehead, and immediately pointed at it excitedly, muttering a string of words in a loud, gibberish voice.

"He doesn't understand English, which is a real problem. I have to think of gestures all day long."

Fudge said to Sheehan, sounding like an old butler, "Mr. Grimm, this is probably a good thing. Even if I told him, he wouldn't know you were here. The entire wizarding world has been eagerly awaiting Mr. Hermes' arrival. Otherwise, I can't even imagine how crazy these outsiders would have been. Heh heh—"

Sheen saw the Bulgarian Minister of Magic's expression change repeatedly; he was too close and heard everything.

So he shoved Percy, who was about to strike up a conversation, and stepped in front of Sheehan.

"We are so fortunate to finally meet you!"

The Bulgarian Minister of Magic said.

"you know English!"

Fudge stared in disbelief, his tone extremely annoyed, "But you've made me stand here gesturing all day!"

"Sorry, that was really fun."

The Bulgarian minister grasped Sheen's hand and said.

After shaking hands with the Bulgarian Minister of Magic, Sheen finally reached Marcus's side.

Once everyone was there, the old wizard calmly munched on his candy, a whole basket of snacks in front of him. Seeing Sheehan arrive, he happily stood up from his chair: "Take it all, share it with your friends. It's really not easy to find such wonderful friends; I didn't know how to cherish them back then—"

The old wizard muttered to himself, "Even better, little Green, I finally have some good enough news to tell you: I've contacted an old man to be your sparring partner—you must have heard of him, getting him on board wasn't easy—"

"Who is Grandpa Marcus?"

Sheen had a strange premonition.

"Heh heh, Mad-Eye Moody."

Marcus said with a smug look on his face.
