Chapter 310 It's good to be confused sometimes.

In the bedroom, Arthur collected the fragments of the wedding dress and carefully pieced them back together to roughly recreate the original. Looking at this broken work of art, a complex mix of emotions welled up within Arthur.

He placed the pieced-together wedding dress on the back of the chair, his gaze falling on the glaring stain.

Arthur bent down, carefully examining the marks on the wedding dress. He couldn't resist reaching out and gently touching the marks, a tingling sensation running down his spine.

"Damn it, Bin," Arthur muttered, "not only did he steal my woman, but he also showed me no respect."

Arthur recalled Xiao Xian's attitude towards him; that condescending sense of superiority made Arthur very uncomfortable. "I am the king of this country, and he is merely a foreign human, Bruce's dog."

Arthur grew angrier the more he thought about it, his resentment snowballing. Why could Xiao Xian do whatever he wanted?

More importantly, Xiao Xian doesn't seem to recognize who the real master is. He didn't even speak up for me yesterday; it seems necessary to punish Xiao Xian and make him persuade Mera for me later.

Arthur stepped out of the room and saw a palace maid cleaning. He went up to her and asked, "Do you know where Ah Bin is?"

The palace maid bowed slightly and replied, "Your Highness, Lord Abin has taken Mera and Atlana to Princess Atlana's palace."

Arthur frowned slightly, nodded, and turned to walk towards Atlana's bedroom. He pushed open the heavy wooden door, revealing a spacious and bright living room. Surprisingly, only Xiao Xian was in the room, leisurely sitting on the sofa playing on his phone.

Arthur stepped forward, glanced around, and then asked, "Xiao Xian, where are Mera and Atlanna?"

Xiao Xian looked up and replied calmly, "They went to take a shower."

Hearing this, Arthur smiled with satisfaction. He cast a spell to create a soundproof barrier, ensuring no one could hear the rest of the conversation. Once the barrier was complete, Arthur looked at Xiao Xian, a hint of mockery in his voice: "You've been quite arrogant these past few days."

Xiao Xian put down his phone, smiled slightly, and a sly glint flashed in his eyes: "You flatter me, I was just doing my best."

Arthur looked at Xiao Xian, his eyes filled with dissatisfaction and doubt. "Ah Bin, don't you understand the difference in our status? You didn't even speak up for me yesterday."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Xian's lips curled up slightly, his tone laced with mockery: "Arthur, aren't you enjoying this?"

Arthur was speechless for a moment, then forced himself to say, "Whether I enjoy it or not is my business, it's your business if you help me."

Xiao Xian shrugged. "Okay. I'll help persuade Mera."

Arthur nodded in satisfaction. "Very good."

He paused, then added, "There's one more thing. From now on, you must show me even more respect. Mera and Atlanna can humiliate me as they please, but you, a mere human without superpowers, must show me respect from now on."

Xiao Xian rolled his eyes. "Fine."

Arthur stared sharply at Xiao Xian, his tone clearly showing displeasure: "Abin, you don't seem too happy about it."

Xiao Xian shook his head, a faint smile on his face: "No."

Arthur looked at Xiao Xian, a strange sense of pride rising within him. Arthur knew that although Xiao Xian had acted as imposingly as Mera and Atlanna's master yesterday, he could easily crush Xiao Xian with a single punch if he wanted to.

Facing this ordinary human, Arthur seemed to regain the dignity and authority he had as the Sea King.

Looking at Xiao Xian's calm expression, Arthur felt it was necessary to make Xiao Xian understand that the difference in strength was the real difference, and card skills were just tricks and gimmicks. By the way, Arthur could also find his dignity as the Sea King in Xiao Xian.

Arthur took a step closer, looked coldly at Xiao Xian, and said, "As proof, you'll kowtow to me twice."

Xiao Xian glanced in the direction of the bathroom, his expression calm: "Are you sure? If Mera and Atlanna find out about this, you're in big trouble."

Arthur sneered, his eyes icy. "So they won't know. If you dare to say anything, I'll use a cursed artifact to kill you, making it look like a sudden death. Just a mere mortal; I have a hundred ways to kill you, a hundred ways."

Xiao Xian raised an eyebrow. "Are you willing to let me go? Queen Mother Atlanna and Mera are very dependent on me. They would be heartbroken if I were to die."

Arthur gave a cold laugh, a hint of mockery on his face: "What do I have to be reluctant about? There are plenty of men in this world with special talents. At worst, I'll just find other men to satisfy Mera and Atlanna later."

Xiao Xian raised an eyebrow slightly, a hint of mockery in his eyes: "Someone like me isn't easy to find."

Arthur chuckled acknowledgingly, then said seriously, "I admit you do have some skills, but you're being a bit too arrogant. Besides, even if we can't find any, we can make up for it with quantity. I can just assign Mera and Atlana 108 male models."

Xiao Xian looked at Arthur and sneered, "Finding male models for you, 108 of them at that, you really are a good person!"

Enraged, Arthur snapped, "Enough nonsense! Today, you'll either kowtow twice to me, or you can just wait to die!"

Arthur stared coldly at Xiao Xian, his eyes filled with threat.

Xiao Xian sighed and shrugged. "Fine, I'll kneel then. Let you satisfy your pathetic pride for a bit. Anyway, Mera and Atlanna have knelt before me countless times, calling me 'Master' and 'Daddy.' You've been kneeling all night too."

Arthur snapped angrily, "Kneel then, stop talking nonsense!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Arthur saw Xiao Xian stand up, kowtow to him, and say, "Lord Arthur, I was wrong. I shouldn't have made you kneel outside yesterday, unable to watch me, Mera, and Atlanna play cards. I should have let you in to watch."

Arthur forced a smile, suppressing his discomfort, and said, "Xiao Xian, weren't you very arrogant yesterday? Now you're kneeling at my feet, kowtowing and admitting your mistakes, aren't you? From now on, you..."

Arthur's smile abruptly stopped mid-sentence, for he noticed a pearl at his waist suddenly glow. Staring at the luminous pearl, he realized with a start, "This is an illusion!"

Arthur immediately cast a spell to dispel the illusion. The scene before him shattered instantly, revealing the real world. Xiao Xian did not kneel on the ground, but calmly sat in his seat, looking at him with a slightly mocking smile.

"It's good to be a little oblivious in life. Arthur, you've already been cuckolded, how come you still don't understand this?"

Arthur looked up abruptly, staring at Xiao Xian in disbelief. He then realized that everything that had just happened was a hallucination created by Xiao Xian!

Arthur stared at Xiao Xian in shock, trembling with rage: "You're not an ordinary person, you're a human mage. You hid it so well, I didn't even notice. No, I should have noticed a long time ago! I knew I couldn't possibly have a cuckold fetish, this is all your doing, isn't it!"

Xiao Xian shrugged, his calm smile still on his face: "I told you, it's good to be confused sometimes. Look, you were basking in happiness before, but now you're furious."

Arthur felt like his lungs were about to explode with rage. He couldn't believe that he had been influenced by the magic of this despicable human, Xiao Xian, and had handed over his closest relatives to him. Anger and humiliation mingled together, almost causing him to lose his mind.

Xiao Xian looked at Arthur with a repulsive smile: "Now you know the truth? Too bad, it's too late."

Arthur gritted his teeth and said, "Bastard! I'll tear you to pieces!"

"Damn it!" Arthur shouted through gritted teeth, "I'll make sure you die a horrible death!"

As he spoke, Arthur could no longer suppress his anger and threw a punch at Xiao Xian's face. However, Xiao Xian simply waved his hand and blocked Arthur's fist, the force of which made Arthur's arm go numb.

Green Goblin's super power alone wouldn't be enough to produce such a strong performance, but Xiao Xian's current body is not his original mortal body. Instead, it is a perfect body tailored to his soul by consuming a large amount of the world's origin from the Hell Dimension. Not to mention Aquaman, even Superman could have a chance against him.

Arthur stared in shock as Xiao Xian easily caught his fist, exclaiming in utter astonishment, "How is this possible...?"

Xiao Xian casually tossed him around, and Aquaman Arthur was slammed to the ground. Arthur lay on the ground, trying to struggle to get up, but found that his whole body ached and he couldn't get up for the time being.

Arthur could only watch helplessly as Xiao Xian walked up to him, stepped on his head with his left foot, and suddenly a sharp longsword appeared in his right hand.

Upon seeing this, Arthur was terrified and immediately begged for mercy:

"Lord Abin, I was blind to your greatness. You are right, sometimes it's good to be a little confused. Mera and Atlanna will be yours from now on, and I will have no objection. I hope you will be magnanimous and forgive my offense this time."

As Arthur spoke, he struggled desperately to break free from Xiao Xian's control, but to no avail.

Xiao Xian sneered and released his foot: "Very well, Arthur. Remember your promise, Mera and Atlanna will both be mine from now on, and you have no objections. Just kneel down and kowtow to me twice, and I will forgive you."

Arthur knelt on the ground, head bowed, his heart filled with humiliation and resentment. But he knew he had no other choice. Xiao Xian's power exceeded his expectations; he had to endure the humiliation for now and wait for an opportunity to turn the tables.

After a moment of silence, Arthur nodded repeatedly, "I'll kowtow, I'll kowtow!"

But after several attempts, he found he couldn't get up at all. Arthur looked at Xiao Xian fearfully, "Lord Abin, I can't get up for now. Please wait a moment, it will be fine soon."

Xiao Xian looked at him, a half-smile on his face, and said, "Alright, I'll wait for you."

After a while, Arthur managed to get up, enduring the pain all over his body, and knelt before Xiao Xian. He lowered his head and kowtowed twice heavily, apologizing, "I'm sorry, Lord Xiao Xian, I was wrong, please forgive me."

Just as Arthur finished kowtowing and stood up, a golden trident suddenly appeared in his hand. A cruel glint flashed in Arthur's eyes as he raised the trident and thrust it straight at Xiao Xian's head, as if he could already see Xiao Xian's skull being pierced by the trident.

However, Xiao Xian struck first, easily snatching the trident from Arthur's hand, and then kicked Arthur away. Arthur crashed heavily into the barrier, spitting out a mouthful of blood, and fell to the ground in pain, looking at Xiao Xian in fear.

Xiao Xian slowly walked up to Arthur, raised his golden trident, and said coldly, "It seems you're courting death."

Arthur coughed, his voice pleading, "Please spare me, Lord Abin..."

Xiao Xian looked down at Arthur with a playful smile on his face: "It's not impossible for me to spare you, but you have to sign a master-servant agreement with me."

Arthur nodded quickly, indicating that he was willing to sign: "I'm willing to sign, Lord Abin."

Xiao Xian smiled slightly, clenched his fist in mid-air, and produced a contract. The contract emitted a mysterious light and was covered with strange characters that Arthur could not understand. But at this moment, he had no choice but to sign it.

"Sign it, Arthur. This is your only way out." Xiao Xian handed the contract to Arthur.

Arthur took the contract, his hand trembling as he dipped it in his own blood and pressed it onto the contract. As Arthur pressed his hand, the contract emitted a dazzling light and then vanished into thin air.

Xiao Xian looked down at Arthur lying on the ground and said coldly, "He may be spared the death penalty, but he cannot escape punishment."

Arthur felt a chill run down his spine. Before he could react, he saw Xiao Xian raise the trident in his hand.

"No, no!" Arthur cried out in terror, but it was too late.

Xiao Xian's trident pierced towards Arthur's groin with lightning speed. Arthur immediately let out a piercing wail and instinctively covered his groin with both hands.

"Aaaaaah—" Arthur writhed on the ground in agony, his heart filled with remorse. He shouldn't have exposed Xiao Xian; now, not only had he lost his life, but he wouldn't even be able to protect his descendants.

Xiao Xian looked at Arthur's miserable state without a trace of pity. He sneered and threw the trident in his hand to the ground.

"Aren't you going to thank me for sparing your life?" Xiao Xian looked down at Arthur, his tone icy.

Arthur, enduring excruciating pain, struggled to his knees. He gritted his teeth, refusing to let tears fall, and said in a trembling voice, "Thank you... thank you, Master, for sparing my life."

Xiao Xian nodded in satisfaction and sneered, "Remember your pain today; this is just a warning. If you dare to lay a hand on me again, it won't be so easy next time."

Arthur's heart skipped a beat, but he forced a smile and said, "Yes, I understand."
