Chapter 103 Claw Machine

Yuan Zhisheng stared intently at the monitor screen, where Cheng Sui's arm was naturally wrapped around Erii's waist.

The veins on his forehead bulged suddenly, and his clenched fist slammed hard onto the solid wood table with a whooshing sound!

"Bang!"

A loud bang startled Yaksha, who was dozing on the table, so much so that he jumped up from his chair.

He instinctively reached for his sidearm at his waist, and only breathed a sigh of relief when he realized it was his boss venting his anger.

The crow, silently smoking nearby, couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when it saw Genji's dramatic emotional fluctuations.

The eldest brother is stubborn as a mule, still saying he's not a sister-complex, but when he saw his sister being hugged by someone, his reaction was bigger than if he had been shot twice.

Sakura stood to the side without saying a word, her face still bearing that indifferent expression.

Genjiro saw the whole thing through the convenience store's surveillance footage. What annoyed him was not Erii being hugged by someone else (at least that's what he thought).

What really angered him was that Cheng Sui actually knew Erii, and that she was an online friend named Naruto.

This made Genji feel a huge dereliction of duty. His father had entrusted Erii to his care with peace of mind, yet he had made such a big mistake.

He had checked this person's IP address beforehand and, finding that they were in the United States, he didn't bother with it.

But now that Cheng Sui has come to Japan, he happens to meet Erii. What's more, they are old online friends who have known each other for a long time, and Cheng Sui is Erii's only friend.

Genjiro didn't believe in such a coincidence; the only explanation was that it was all a conspiracy by Kassel College.

Cheng Sui's purpose in coming to Japan was always Erii.

Yuan Zhisheng was annoyed by his oversight and even more surprised that Cheng Sui was so cunning. He had thought Cheng Sui was a very straightforward person when they first met.

However, how did the headquarters know about Erii's existence? The entire Snake Clan classified this matter as top secret. Apart from themselves and their fathers, only the top-ranking family heads and their subordinates knew about Erii.

Thinking of this, Genjiro's gaze swept over Yasha and the others.

Yaksha was so frightened that his anus tightened, and he quickly raised his hands in surrender: "Boss, don't look at me like that. Although I like young and beautiful girls, I swear on my entire crow family that I have no improper thoughts about the young lady."

"My whole family is long gone," Crow added expressionlessly. "Boss, Yaksha knew about this and still swore about it. I suggest a thorough investigation."

"You two should shut up right now!" Sakura said coldly from the side.

Genji looked at his three subordinates, rubbed his temples, and realized he had been too hasty to even suspect these two idiots of being the ones who leaked information.

"Have you checked the transportation hubs?" Yuan Zhisheng tried his best to keep his voice calm.

"We've checked the airport, train station, port, and subway—we haven't found Ms. Erii. Our initial assessment is that she's still in Tokyo," Yasha said.

Genjiro slowly clenched his fist: "Suspend all other affairs of the Executive Department, mobilize all manpower, even if we have to uproot every building in Tokyo, we will find Erii."

Yaksha and Crow exchanged a glance; their boss's level of siscondom was much greater than they had imagined.

"Yes! The Executive Bureau will do its utmost! The officers from both the Kanto and Kansai branches have also joined the search effort!" Sakura stood up straight.

"Issue a 1 billion yen bounty on all the major gangs in Tokyo for accurate information about Erii." Genji lit a cigarette. "But if anyone harms Erii—his head will be worth 1 billion yen!"

"clear!"

"I know you are very tired, and I am very tired too," Genjiro leaned back in his chair slowly. "But we can't rest until we find Erii. We must seize every minute and every second. I can only feel at ease when Erii returns to me as soon as possible."

"Don't worry!" Yaksha replied solemnly, "In this dazzling Tokyo, it's too dangerous for the innocent Erii to be with a man! We understand your feelings, boss, and we won't give Chengji any chance!"

"If he dares to have even the slightest impure thought about Erii, I'll snap his neck!"

"It's as if your fighting process was any different than that," the crow said sullenly.

Yaksha was stunned, his eyes somewhat vacant.

Genji looked helplessly at his simple-minded subordinate. Although it wasn't the time to joke, he couldn't help but smile bitterly.

Meanwhile, inside a large arcade in Shinjuku.

Cheng Sui focused intently, firmly gripping the claw machine's control handle and carefully adjusting its position.

Under Erii's tense yet expectant gaze, he decisively pressed the button.

The metal claw slowly descended and precisely hooked onto the target doll's head.

Erii clenched her small fists nervously, her crimson eyes fixed on the slowly rising claw.

However, the claw seemed to be coated with oil, and as it rose, it trembled slightly, causing the doll to float away and fall.

"Sigh—" Cheng Sui scratched his head in frustration.

He and Erii had just come out of Uniqlo and were looking for a place to rest, but Erii was so attracted by the brightly lit arcade that she couldn't move on, which led to the scene we see now.

However, Cheng Sui had tried four or five times, and each time the situation was the same: the doll would come loose while she was trying to lift it up.

"Damn capitalists, they deliberately loosened their grip so much, didn't they?" Cheng Sui couldn't help but mutter under his breath.

"Words like 'idiot'?" Erii tilted her head in confusion, holding up her notebook. She hadn't learned this Chinese word yet.

Cheng Sui wrote the word "capitalist" on the notebook and explained, "It's a very bad and fast-moving creature. Erii, remember that."

Erii nodded emphatically and carefully wrote in her notebook: "Erii remembers, capitalists are very bad creatures."

Cheng Sui nodded in satisfaction, revealing an expression of admiration for the young man.

Erii didn't dwell too much on her failure at the claw machine; everything in the arcade was new and exciting to her.

Her gaze was quickly drawn to the shooting game not far away, and she gently tugged at Cheng Sui's sleeve.

He immediately went to the service desk and swiped a whole basket of game coins.

Seeing Erii's eager eyes, Cheng Sui smiled and handed her an air gun: "Eri, want to give it a try?"

"Can I?" Erii held up her notebook with some anticipation.

"Of course you can, go for it!"

Erii gently waved her little fist, walked to the shooting area, raised the air gun with a serious air rifle, and aimed at the rows of colorful balloons on the wall.

"Bang!"

The bullet was fired, but it missed its target.

Although he missed, Cheng Sui still saw a glimmer of excitement in the girl's eyes.

Erii then fired several more shots, but her accuracy was low; she hit the target about five out of twenty.

"Out of 20, you only got 5. That's not enough to win a prize."

A staff member standing nearby said with a smile, his tone slightly teasing.

Cheng Sui frowned slightly. He had just subtly activated his Sharingan and clearly saw a slight deviation in the trajectory of the air gun. It was indeed tampered with.

"I'll play a round," Cheng Sui said.

"Go Naruto!"

Erii immediately picked up her notebook and waved it vigorously to cheer him on.

Cheng Sui's smile vanished, and his Sharingan eyes, hidden beneath his black contact lenses, slowly rotated. Today, he was determined to make this heartless boss lose everything.
