I'm in the Dragon Clan, bound to the Naruto Counterattack System
Who is the third chapter?
Cheng Sui calmed himself down, placed Dick Tudor in Caesar's arms who was still unconscious, and rubbed his temples in distress.
Defeating Chu Zihang is manageable, since he has little connection with the Lionheart Society.
Given the personality of the Lionheart Society members, they would probably only blame themselves for not practicing enough.
But Caesar was different.
I am a member of the student council, and Caesar is the president of the student council.
Moreover, Cheng Sui was the one who defeated Caesar by sneak attack. Given Caesar's pride, he would never allow himself to be defeated in this way.
Given Caesar's prestige in the student council, it seems he's doomed.
Cheng Sui clenched his fist, feeling the surging life force within his body.
However, he doesn't regret it. No matter how many times he could do it again, he would still choose to fire that shot.
Looking at the unconscious Caesar, Cheng Sui stroked his chin, pondering the system.
The system mistook Caesar and Chu Zihang for Naruto and Sasuke, but it doesn't know who Naruto and who Sasuke are yet.
But when Cheng Sui thought of Chu Zihang's cold face, he naturally compared him to Sasuke, both of them being aloof and burdened with their own missions.
So here's the question: Who is Sakura?
Cheng Sui suddenly thought of something and felt a chill run down his spine.
It couldn't possibly be Lu Mingfei, who hasn't even enrolled yet.
Although I had only read the first two parts of Dragon Raja in my previous life, Lu Mingfei looked like a normal man.
It's impossible for Lu Mingfei to suddenly transform into Sakura in the third installment.
A burst of rousing music interrupted Cheng Sui's reverie; a powerful march resounded throughout the campus.
The door of an unidentified building next to the square was opened, and doctors and nurses in pure white protective suits rushed out, carrying silver briefcases with the Kassel College emblem on them.
A doctor passing by looked at Cheng Sui with some surprise. While the students were enjoying their day of freedom, the doctors and nurses were also busy. Someone had started a betting pool to see who would be the winner of the day of freedom.
Without exception, the "gamblers" either chose Chu Zihang or Caesar.
But who is this person standing in front of me? I've never seen him before.
The house has won everything this time; the colleague who ran the betting platform will probably be laughing all the way to the bank tonight.
A small, old man with a shiny bald head, wearing thin, round, gold-rimmed glasses, covered his mouth and nose with a handkerchief, frowned, and sighed as he walked towards Cheng Sui.
As he passed the bullet-riddled walls, his sighs became increasingly frequent.
"Sigh, this all costs money..."
Manstein sighed and walked over to Cheng Sui, looking him up and down: "You're Cheng Sui?"
Upon seeing the person who had arrived, Cheng Sui involuntarily straightened his posture. The person in front of him was the disciplinary committee member of Kassel College, and many students had suffered at his hands.
"It's me, Professor Manstein."
The old man snorted coldly, his face full of disdain: "Look at young people these days! You're already a senior, and instead of thinking about your internship and your future after graduation, you're participating in this incredibly boring and wasteful game! Do you want to become the next student who repeats a year for an extended period?!"
Manstein grew angrier as he spoke, a faint red glow emanating from his bald head.
Cheng Sui touched his hair awkwardly, unsure of what to say.
Manstein adjusted his monocle, calmed himself, and said in a nonchalant tone, "The principal wants to see you. If there's nothing else, hurry up and go to the principal's office."
Cheng Sui tilted his head, puzzled, and asked, "Principal? Why does the principal want to see me?"
Cheng Sui suddenly thought of the system's rewards. Besides the Sharingan and the Uzumaki physique, there was also the Third Hokage's favorability. Could it be that the Third Hokage is Principal Angers?
You know what, they really do look alike; they're both vigorous old men.
"Damn it, how was I supposed to know? I was just a messenger. You guys are treating the campus like a battlefield, how many buildings have you destroyed..."
Before Manstein's bald head could turn red again, Cheng Sui decisively chose to slip away; he didn't want to bear the wrath of the disciplinary committee member alone.
While Cheng Sui and Manstein were talking, the doctors and nurses were already administering injections to the students, diagnosing their injuries, and recording their student numbers.
The first thing the "deceased" did upon waking was to remove his mask and ask those around him about the battle situation, but everyone seemed somewhat bewildered.
The bewilderment on everyone's faces deepened when they saw Caesar and Chu Zihang lying on either side of the fountain.
Cheng Sui strolled along the path, feeling somewhat uneasy.
Although Angers always presented himself as a gentle and refined elder at school, Cheng Sui knew that this seemingly old-fashioned British man was actually a complete scoundrel inside, and his gentlemanly demeanor was just a facade.
Why did he contact me? I've never heard of a "reward" for the winner of a day of freedom in all my years at school—a private meeting with the principal.
Avoiding the newly awakened crowd, Cheng Sui arrived near the Hall of Heroes.
Valhalla is a chapel-like place at Kassel College. Someone like Cheng Sui, a C-level university student, probably only has two opportunities to come here in four years: the opening ceremony and the graduation ceremony.
However, his destination was not Valhalla, but an inconspicuous two-story building next to it. Compared to the magnificent Valhalla, this building was as simple as a garage.
After tidying himself up, Cheng Sui knocked on the principal's office door.
"Please come in."
A gentle old man's voice came from inside the door.
As Cheng entered the principal's office, a sense of openness and luxury filled the air. Unlike its ordinary exterior, the principal's office exuded an understated luxury.
The floor between the first and second floors has been opened up, and a huge skylight with frosted glass in the central atrium allows natural light to enter.
The entire office resembles a giant bookshelf, with two-story, ceiling-high shelves piled high with books. Winding wooden staircases and intersecting platforms divide the space into small sections, making it easy for people to access various books at any time.
The indoor air is filled with a faint woody scent, and everywhere you look, you see the oily sheen of old wood.
"Principal, I heard from Professor Manstein that you were looking for me?"
Cheng Sui entered the room, not as nervous as he had imagined. Perhaps the faint woody scent in the office soothed his emotions.
Angers smiled, closed the book in his hand, and the enhanced vision allowed Cheng Sui to see the title of the book, which, coincidentally, was one he had read before.
Cheng Sui was not a literary youth. The reason he read this book was because he took a literature theory course, and the teacher was Angers.
"Les Fleurs du Mal, by Charles-Pierre Baudelaire, is one of the most influential collections of poetry in the 19th century and a pioneer of French Symbolist poetry. It was also one of the required readings for my literature theory course last semester. I remember you did quite well in that course, Cheng Sui."
Angers seemed to notice Cheng Sui's gaze, and spoke while making coffee.
The sunlight streaming through the skylight gilded the old man's neat silver hair with a golden edge, while the rising steam from the coffee subtly obscured his aged but still remarkably strong face.
Damn, he's so handsome.
Cheng Sui couldn't help but complain inwardly, thinking that he was indeed an old rogue, and that showing off was ingrained in his bones and had become an instinct.
"Please sit down." Angers smiled and placed two cups of freshly brewed black ivory coffee on the spruce wood desk, gesturing for Cheng to sit down.
Cheng Sui obediently sat down in the chair, picked up her coffee, and took a sip.
Mmm, the taste is smooth and mellow, with obvious chocolate and nutty flavors, mixed with a subtle hint of fruit or floral aroma. It's delicious.
Cheng Sui was still sipping his coffee when Angers' next words almost made him spit it out.
Angers sat in the chair, his face still bearing that gentle smile, but the expression deep in his eyes had subtly changed.
"Cheng Sui, based on your performance this time, we suspect that there was an error in your bloodline assessment. For the sake of your future, we hope that you can have your bloodline retested."
