Chapter 58 Judgment of the Sun and Moon

Using his divine sense to probe his surroundings, Tang San discovered that the group of mortals were talking about "suddenly flying into the air." When he arrived at the base's main hall, he saw sunlight shining into the hall through an irregular hole, making the hall look less gloomy than before.

"Did the people here just punch a hole in the ground and fly out?"

Tang San was filled with confusion. He glanced at the naked man lying unconscious on the ground with disgust, and prepared to crawl out through the hole.

"What does it taste like?"

Tang San's nose twitched slightly as he smelled a somewhat familiar scent. Suddenly, his face turned ashen, and his divine power erupted, causing him to push aside the surrounding soil and bury the underground base.

"Damn bastards, the Holy Spirit Cult should die."

With a loud curse, Tang San soared into the sky, his blood-red light shooting out and hitting the ground. A series of booming sounds rang out, and the people who had been quietly watching the show cried out and fled the area.

"Who is it!"

A loud shout came from afar, and a level nine soul master who had noticed the commotion was rushing over.

Tang San took a deep breath, trying to calm his turbulent emotions. He was a god, and he had to maintain his dignity.

"I, the Asura God, why haven't you come to pay my respects yet!"

The power of the Asura God erupted, and a blood-red phantom hundreds of meters tall appeared behind Tang San. Now he dared not waste too much divine power, for who knows how many more soul beasts like the bear from before were on the other side.

"The God of Asura?"

The nearby level nine soul master stared in astonishment at the blood-red phantom. Asura God, isn't that bastard Tang San? How did he suddenly end up in the Sun Moon Empire?

A chaotic murmur erupted from the crowd on the ground; this was the first time they had ever truly seen God.

"Lady Brigitte, that Asura God?"

Kong Deming looked at Bi Ji beside him with a bewildered expression. After explaining the situation, he asked the level nine soul master to appease the crowd, while he stayed by Bi Ji's side. But now a Shura God suddenly appeared on the ground. What the hell is this?

"Tang San?"

Biji looked at Tang San, who was radiating fierceness, as if a chilling killing intent enveloped the entire Mingdu.

The jade bottle appeared in Biji's hand. Listening to the panicked cries of the people, Biji's face remained cold.

"Let's go, let's go see this Asura God."

Biji couldn't bear to see this scene, especially since these humans would soon become a branch of the soul beasts, and would be part of the soul beasts after all.

Seeing that the mortals below were just stunned and showed him no respect whatsoever, Tang San's face showed impatience.

This is why he disliked the Sun Moon Empire. What use are mortals who don't believe in him? It would be better to simply merge them into the Douluo Three Kingdoms, educate them, and then have them believe in the great Sea God.

A powerful killing intent poured out as Tang San coldly looked at the wailing humans. Humans are creatures that always have to suffer before they can be obedient for a short time.

Countless civilians and soul masters felt as if they were about to be killed under this chilling killing aura, unable to move, and almost fainting.

Only when the emerald green light shone upon them did they finally regain control of their bodies and scramble away from the so-called Asura God.

"Another soul beast?"

Tang San's face was grim because his divine sense hadn't probed the sky. He hadn't discovered Bi Ji's presence before, and just as he was about to teach the mortal a lesson, he was saved by a soul beast.

The gods that humans believe in want to deal with humans, but it is the spirit beasts, who have never been enemies, who save humans. Kong Deming, who was standing aside, felt only irony.

"Humans, has your Sun Moon Empire betrayed humanity by colluding with soul beasts?"

Tang San immediately slammed a huge accusation on Kong Deming, leaving him speechless. Although the Sun Moon Empire had indeed betrayed humanity, didn't Tang San also have his faults? If it weren't for him, a god, constantly interfering in the mortal realm and forcing the Sun Moon Empire, they wouldn't be in this situation.

"Tang San, you shameless bastard! Every time our Sun Moon Empire tries to unify the Douluo Continent, you show up, just to make things difficult for us. I'm not playing with you three kingdoms anymore! I'd rather surrender to the soul beasts than be a slave to a conquered nation!"

Kong Deming was spitting everywhere, and it was clear that he had been holding it in for a long time. This time, he finally took advantage of having a "bodyguard" by his side and an enemy on the other side to curse out, and he rarely swore.

Anyone who is in seclusion and about to see the path to breaking through their limits is suddenly interrupted and told that their family is about to be destroyed.

Not long after, the "Celestial Dragons" who were supposed to unify the continent became slaves of a conquered nation. No one would feel good about that. When the future of the Sun Moon Empire was bleak, who knew how much pressure he was under?

Tang San's face was dark. How could he not let the Sun Moon Empire have an easy time? He made them hand over the Soul Guidance Technology for the good of the Douluo Continent. How could he develop well if the Douluo Continent didn't develop well?

As for intervening every time Douluo Three Kingdoms failed, that was his hometown, and he was protecting his homeland. What was wrong with that?

Tang San was very unhappy to have been insulted by a mortal, but when he glanced at the stunning woman in the green dress beside Kong Deming, a hint of apprehension flashed in his eyes.

He recognized the other party as the Emerald Swan, who should have posed no threat to him, but he still felt uneasy.

"Since you have pledged allegiance to the Soul Beasts, your Sun Moon Empire has already chosen the path to its demise. Today, I, in the name of the Asura God, will deliver my judgment upon the Sun Moon Empire!"

A sinister smile appeared on Tang San's face. If they refused to provide him with faith, what difference was there between that and betrayal? They might as well just die, and then the faith of the Douluo Three Kingdoms in him would be even deeper.

His Asura divine power erupted, and a blood-red greatsword flew into the sky, trembling as it split into countless smaller swords that enveloped the entire Mingdu.

Tang San was in a good mood. Although the power of the Sea God was easy to use, it was not as powerful as the power of the Asura God.

Biji quietly watched Tang San not far away, somewhat unable to understand why a so-called god would act this way, killing millions of people because of his own selfish desires. Biji felt a chill in her heart.

"Asura God, are all so-called gods like you? Interfering in the mortal realm at will, slaughtering mortals at will, acting on your own whims."

Biji voiced her doubts, and Tang San's face grew darker with each question. Was he supposed to say that he, as a god of law enforcement, had broken the law and disobeyed the rules of the divine realm? The righteous and just Sea God would not act in such a way.

"You mortals are gravely guilty of sins and deserve to be judged and punished for your treason."

Tang San said a couple of sarcastic remarks, and at the same time, he pressed down slightly with his right hand, sending countless small, blood-red swords shooting towards the ground.

Biji raised the jade bottle in her hand, and a strange suction force emanated from the bottle. The blood-red swords that were originally shooting towards the ground were all sucked into the bottle. However, perhaps because the area was too large, some blood-red swords in some remote places still shot straight towards the people.

A pale blue light suddenly enveloped Mingdu. The old emperor, struggling to stay afloat, activated the soul-guided defense array that Mingdu had built over a hundred years ago. It was precisely because of its existence that Mingdu was the only capital city on the continent without city walls.

The old emperor looked on with anticipation, wanting to see just how great the difference was between mortals and gods.
