Chapter 325 Three Sisters - We're Going to Have Your Children
Chapter 325 The Three Sisters—We're Going to Have Your Children
The news of Gilbert Fawin of Lonelight Keep arriving at Pyke Isle with his three daughters naturally reached the ears of King Coron first.
In accordance with the traditional etiquette of the Iron Islands, the king who ruled over all the islands received these vassals from the far west in his hall.
But the atmosphere at the meeting was unusually somber. Although the four members of the Fawen family stood before King Koren, their expressions were as distant and indifferent as if they were complete strangers meeting.
Their attitude towards the King of Coron was not the respect that subjects should have for their lord; their words and actions showed absolutely no awareness or humility befitting a vassal.
What displeased King Coron even more was that after their brief and cold greetings, the conversation turned abruptly, and the only request they repeatedly mentioned was to see Euron.
This blatant disregard made it seem as if he, the King of the Iron Islands, was insignificant. King Coron's face gradually darkened, a surge of offended anger rising within him. He said no more, merely letting out a cold snort, and turned away, leaving these ill-mannered visitors standing alone in the empty hall, ignoring them completely.
No one could have predicted that Gilbert Farwin, the lord of Lone Lampburg, would end up like this—he transformed into a seal and dived into the deep sea, leaving behind his three precious daughters, whom he declared "your salt concubines."
The atmosphere at the dinner that evening became particularly delicate because of this sudden news.
When news spread that Euron Greyjoy had "mysteriously" acquired three salt concubines, and when he saw the three Favon sisters following closely behind him, the air in the long hall seemed to thicken.
King Coron paused, his hand holding the wine glass he held trembling. His expression was complex and difficult to decipher, finally settling into a soft, ambiguous hum. Asara initially showed slight surprise, then her gaze lingered on Euron and the three identical faces for a moment, revealing a wry smile. The other family members exchanged various curious, inquisitive, and barely suppressed amusement glances.
The three new additions, the Fawin sisters—Rachel, Nettie, and Zoia—became the most eye-catching focus of the dinner.
They lacked the rigid hierarchical concepts and sense of superiority typical of noble families, and were devoid of the wariness and suspicion that most people possess. Whatever anyone asked them—whether it was about the legends of Lonely Lamp Fortress or their own abilities—they answered with crystal-clear eyes, their honesty revealing everything without any concealment.
What's even more novel and interesting to everyone is the triplets' identical appearance and movements, as well as their unique way of speaking, where each person says a sentence in turn.
"Is the lighthouse at Lonely Lighthouse truly never extinguished?" Asha asked curiously.
Rachel nodded: "Yes."
Nitil added, "It relies on earth fire and crystals."
Zoia concluded: "It has been burning for a thousand years."
They sat there quietly, like three flawless works of art with exotic flair. Their very presence, and their untainted purity and synchronicity, were enough to transform the atmosphere of the dinner party from its initial subtlety to an unprecedented ease and enjoyment.
King Coron seemed to be infected by this novel atmosphere, and unusually, he imitated the three sisters' unique way of punctuating his sentences, asking slowly with a hint of playfulness and inquiry, "Your father?"
"That's it for you guys?"
"Given away to someone else as a concubine."
"Are you all one?"
"I don't feel anything—"
"Does it look like I've been sold?"
As soon as he finished speaking, all eyes turned to the three sisters. Rachel, Nydia, and Zoea exchanged glances, seemingly unperturbed by the question, and answered calmly in their signature one-sentence-per-line style:
Rachel: "No way—"
"6
Nytil: "We'll be with Euron for a long time to come."
Zoia: "Exploring Unknown Seas - Part 1"
Rachel: "The person who's always been with me"
Nitil: "It should be—"
Zoia: "We're like a married couple."
Their logic was simple and direct, as if it originated from some ancient and pure natural law, which surprised everyone present.
Ashara, Euron's lawfully wedded wife and pregnant, sat beside them. Normally, hearing such "outrageous" remarks should have offended her, even angered her. But strangely, looking into those three clear, innocent eyes, she felt no anger whatsoever.
She decided to mimic their tone, and with a hint of helplessness and great curiosity, she asked softly, "Do you know?"
"Euren"
"I already have a wife—"
'
"That's me!"
Are you willing to accept this?
"With others—"
'
"Share your own"
"Husband?"
Her question went straight to the point, and the hall fell silent as everyone held their breath, waiting for the answers from these three amazing girls.
The three sisters exchanged glances again, and then offered their explanation in a seamless manner:
Rachel: "We are triplets."
Nitil: "A connection of hearts and minds."
Zoia: "You can only marry one person."
Rachel: "Father said—"
Nytil: "Three women cannot be one man's rock wife."
Zoia: "Then we'll just have to be salt concubines together."
This logically consistent explanation left everyone present speechless for a moment.
Westeros certainly couldn't have three wives at the same time, and what they said—seemed to make some sense.
But upon closer reflection, something just doesn't feel right.
Euron sighed, trying to confirm one last time: "Do you even know what 'salt concubine' means?"
The three sisters nodded in unison, their expressions serious: "Yes, we understand."
"Of course I know!"
"We're not children anymore."
"It has to be done every day."
"Sleeping and eating together"
"I also want to have your children."
"Pfft pfft pfft~~~~~" Sitting to the side, Asha finally couldn't help but burst out laughing. The beer she had just taken a sip of sprayed out, and she laughed so hard that she bent over and slapped the table.
The delicate atmosphere in the hall was instantly shattered by Asha's sudden childlike frankness and burst of laughter, leaving everyone both amused and exasperated.
Euron looked helplessly at Ashara, his face full of innocence and a wry smile, and spread his hands, saying, "You saw it all, this really has nothing to do with me."
Upon hearing this, Ashara raised an eyebrow, her tone tinged with reproach: "None of your business!? Then why didn't they become Balon's concubines, but instead came to you?"
Baron, who was sitting to the side drinking ale, choked on his beer when he heard this. He coughed a few times and quickly waved his hand, saying, "You can argue all you want, but please don't make fun of me—" Before he could finish speaking, he felt a cold gaze beside him. His wife, Ahanis, was staring at him with a look that was a mixture of caution and murderous intent. He immediately added, "—This is dangerous."
Asara frowned slightly, her gaze returning to Euron with a hint of trouble and worry: "What should we do now?"
"You really want to take them in as concubines?"
Euron sighed, his tone firm yet gentle: "Of course not." He rubbed his temples, looking somewhat troubled. "Sigh—this matter needs further consideration."
The three sisters wore synchronized expressions of confusion. Rachel spoke first, "But Father just said..." Nitil continued, "We're already your concubines."
Zoia finally asked, "How can we plan this further?"
Euron patiently explained, "What I mean is, you can stay and work under me, utilizing your abilities. But the identity of the salt concubine is unnecessary."
The three sisters looked at each other, still puzzled. Rachel tilted her head: "But just now..."
Nytil mimicked Euron's earlier tone: "You clearly said..."
Zoia said seriously, "That's against etiquette."
"I misspoke! It's both proper and legal!" Euron decisively waved his hand, ending the topic with an unquestionable tone. "Alright, it's settled then."
Euron clearly didn't want to dwell on this issue any longer, so he quickly changed the subject, asking, "By the way, what do you all do? What special abilities do you have?"
Upon hearing this, the three sisters immediately perked up and began to list the items, one by one: "Swimming in the sea—swimming for a long time."
"You can even fish in the sea—"
"Can transform into a seal—a sea lion—and a walrus—"
'
"Able to control small animals in the sea, in the sky, and on land."
"Anyone who isn't particularly large can be included."
"Can make pickled fish, grilled fish, and fish soup."
"They can do laundry, recognize characters, and write," the three added in unison, their eyes clear and earnest. "They can even have your babies!" Euren couldn't help but facepalm and smile wryly. "Having babies is out of the question—let's talk about something else. How many flying creatures can you control at once? Like, crows?"
The three sisters answered almost without hesitation: "Each person—five of them."
"Fifteen in total."
A glint flashed in Euron's eyes, and he immediately instructed Lisa beside him, "Lisa, you take them with you and teach them how to collect and organize information."
Lisa nodded calmly, her gaze sweeping over the three sisters with admiration: "Yes, I think they have a lot of talent in this area."
The three sisters simultaneously showed expressions of hesitation.
Rachel: "But we agreed—"
""
Nitil: "We're going to the far west together."
Zoia: "How can you follow others?"
Euron patiently explained: “Following” does not mean being inseparable at all times, like you three sisters.
"We can't be together all the time, you know?" His tone turned serious as he made a promise, "In short, remember this: if I ever set off for the far west, I will take you all with me."
The three sisters seemed to understand, but based on their trust in Euron, they nodded in unison.
Euron glanced around at the Greyjoy family members, who were already laughing so hard they were doubled over, some even convulsing on the table, and shook his head helplessly.
"Alright, that's enough." He raised his voice, his tone a mix of amusement and helplessness. "We should head back to Ironwind Island. If we stay any longer, I'm afraid some people will really laugh themselves to death here."
His words elicited an even louder, wave of laughter and good-natured teasing, and the banquet came to a close in this unprecedentedly lively and joyful atmosphere.
