American Zombie Detective

The atmosphere in the Walls apartment building was somber in the early hours of the morning.

Frank and Sean, the two precinct supervisors, stood in front of O'Reilly's door, their faces unusually grim under the lights, watching the forensic pathologist and evidence officers, who had been urgently summoned, carefully collect evidence.

The carbonized hair pulled out of the sewage outlet, the similarly carbonized skin tissue, the glass bottle of acid in the trash can, and so on.

Looking at what Qin Jin had found, Sean and Frank's expressions were equally grim; this was definitely not an ordinary murder case.

Qin Jin showed screenshots of the surveillance footage to the two supervisors and then explained his speculation:

"I believe this evidence is sufficient to demonstrate the presence of supernatural forces in this case. This force is called the Skin-Peeling Demon, or in our Eastern culture, the Painted Skin Demon..."

Frank and Sean's expressions grew increasingly serious. Sean immediately said:

"I'll immediately send people to investigate O'Reilly Hope with all their might! Her job, her social connections, her vehicle tracking..."
