The Silent Witch of Hogwarts
Chapter 633 Diagon Alley
Chapter 633 Diagon Alley
"Pat-pat-pat"
Even in June, Diagon Alley in London is by no means hot, and the wizards coming and going still wrap themselves tightly in their robes.
Moreover, perhaps due to the current state of affairs, most people are in a hurry, and the occasional Aurors from the Ministry of Magic patrolling by gives people a very oppressive and dangerous feeling.
In a corner of Diagon Alley, a person wrapped in a thick robe and wearing a hood was carefully looking around. She even wore a silver-white mask on her face, making her look quite suspicious.
It's safe to say that if the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic had seen her dressed like this, she would have been subjected to a barrage of questions—but she was quite lucky, managing to evade many of them by keeping her head down.
Finally, she shook herself off and stopped in front of a shop.
Looking up, Loila let out a soft sigh of relief.
Ollivanders Wand Shop — I've finally arrived.
For Royla now, returning to England is a dangerous thing, not only because England itself is somewhat dangerous, but also because she subconsciously feels a little guilty after being dismissed from Hogwarts by Dumbledore.
She didn't know if Dumbledore had told the Ministry of Magic about her situation—he probably had, right?
After all, being a member of the UMNO party is a very important thing, isn't it?
So in order to have a few words with Ollivander, Loila had to make this decision—like a thief, she returned here wearing her old mask.
However, it must be said that this actually reminded Loila of many years ago—was walking with a mask really that boring?
Even so, Roy did not remove his mask after pushing open the door of Ollivanders wand shop.
"Ah—please come in, please come in!" Upon seeing Loyla enter, Ollivander did not recognize her at first glance. He hesitated for a few seconds, looking at the mask, before glancing slightly at the tip of the wand hidden in Loyla's sleeve.
"Are you Miss Hamilton?"
"Hmm—" Was my disguise really that bad?
Loila nodded somewhat awkwardly, then carefully sat down on the chair by the counter.
"Why are you dressed like this?" Ollivander asked, somewhat confused. "Are you injured?"
"Is it still a sign of poor health?"
"Nothing...nothing at all." It seems Mr. Ollivander is unaware of what happened—that's a good thing!
At least I don't have to explain myself so much anymore.
Loila pursed her lips and slowly placed the wand on the table.
"Ah—Miss Hamilton, have you finished inscribing the magic circle?"
Upon seeing the wand, Ollivander immediately showed a surprised expression. He blinked and immediately picked up the wand with both hands to examine it.
"It's not completely healed yet." Of course, Loila couldn't reveal that she was preparing to use her wand to control Hogwarts—even though it was almost complete.
"By Merlin, Miss Hamilton, your magic circle is still so exquisitely crafted—it fits the wand perfectly—" Ollivander's praise made Loila's ears twitch, and then a hint of pride appeared on her face.
I'm a renowned magic array expert—isn't that a given?
However—but Mr. Ollivander's voice is still too loud! It's best if no one else hears it.
Loila pursed her lips and said to Ollivander, "Um—Mr. Ollivander—please don't pronounce my name."
"This time, I'm doing a secret operation, you understand?" Loila gave a response that was quite common in Mr. Lockhart's novels.
"Ah—I understand, Han—so how should I address you?"
"Just call me—Lola." Loila took out her former alias and pursed her lips, saying, "That's fine."
"Alright then—Miss Lola," Ollivander nodded gently, holding his wand, and said, "You haven't finished engraving this part yet, have you?"
"Um----"
"Even so, it's quite exquisite—I'll record this here for the later experiments—" Ollivander was talking to Loira when there was a knock on the shop door.
The sudden noise made Loila flinch, and she quickly hid behind the wand stand, cautiously peering outside through the gaps in the wand boxes.
"Please come in." Ollivander pursed his lips, glanced at Loila, and coughed as if he understood something.
"Good morning, Mr. Ollivander." Loila didn't recognize the three men who walked in, but judging from their expressions, she sensed that they were up to no good.
They look a bit fierce — could they be gangsters or something — is this how the Ministry of Magic works now?
Loila shrank back with some worry, hiding in the shadows and not daring to make a sound.
"Good morning, gentlemen—" Ollivander glanced around, not seeing their wands, and pursed his lips before saying, "Are you here to buy wands?"
"No." The leading wizard shook his head, and he slowly walked up to Ollivander. His pale face looked down at Ollivander and said, "We've come to ask about the wand."
"Ask the wand?" Ollivander paused for a moment.
"Hmm." The wizard shrugged. "You're one of the most skilled wand masters in all of Europe, aren't you?"
"So I suppose you know this wand quite well, right?" he said, shrugging as two wizards behind him placed a diagram on the table.
"The Elder Wand?" Ollivander paused for a moment when he saw the blueprint, then uttered a name that made Loila blink.
The Elder Wand is one of the Deathly Hallows—and it was once held by Lord Grindelwald, but now it's in the hands of that old man Dumbledore—
Why would these people be asking about the Elder Wand?
"So you do recognize him—" The lead wizard nodded slightly, then said to the two wizards beside him, "Then we'll have to trouble Mr. Ollivander to come with us."
"Wh-what?" Ollivander stared blankly at the two wands pointing at him, then quickly asked, "Who are you people?"
"Us?" The leading wizard raised an eyebrow. "It would be your honor to serve Lord Voldemort."
"Wh-what?! I-I won't go!" Ollivander instinctively took a few steps back upon hearing this, but the two wizards immediately grabbed his collar.
"Do you think we're negotiating with you?" the leading wizard said viciously. "You have no choice!"
"Knock him out—don't attract attention—"
"Buzz!" Before the words were finished, a spell struck the man, sending him flying backward and crashing into the wand stand, causing wands to rain down on him.
"Who goes there?!"
This sudden turn of events startled the other two Death Eaters. Before they could react, Loila flicked her wand, knocking them both down instantly.
"Hamilton—Miss Hamilton!" Ollivander looked at Loila in shock, his body trembling slightly as he almost cried.
"Um—I'm so sorry," Loila said, pursing her lips and holding her wand, "I used your wand—"
With her wand in Ollivander's possession, Loira had no choice but to grab one from among the others.
"It's a miracle there was no backfire or anything." Ollivander pushed up his monocle and nodded, then turned his gaze back to the three who had been knocked down.
"What should they do?"
Are you asking me?
Loila thought for a moment and said, "How about... we just kill them?"
Just as the two were staring at each other in bewilderment, the door of the wand shop was suddenly pushed open.
"What's going on here?!"
Loila shuddered when she saw the wizard rushing in.
