The Silent Witch of Hogwarts

Chapter 696 The Storm Is Coming

Chapter 696 The Storm Is Coming

"Pat-pat-pat"

In the circular corridor of the Ministry of Magic, Voldemort, dressed in black robes, stood quietly watching the square below the fence.

A colossal statue stood in the center, its inscription "Might makes right" bringing a slight smile to Voldemort's face.

"Master—" Severus Snape stood beside him, bowing slightly, and said, "Are you really going to attack Hogwarts now?"

"What else, Severus?" Voldemort asked calmly, "What good ideas do you have?"

"My master's thoughts are my thoughts," Snape said slowly and calmly. "It's just that I feel—we should accumulate more power."

"Perhaps?" Voldemort shrugged noncommittally. "But our enemies are also gathering strength, aren't they?"

'

Hamilton has returned to Hogwarts—though her hand is injured—but she can still offer a glimmer of hope to those worthless people.

"What a tiny—what a faint hope," Voldemort said, glancing at Snape with a smile. "Not nearly as grand as Dumbledore's, is it?"

"Dumbledore is nothing but a dead tree," Snape sneered. "I merely moved my wand slightly..."

Kill him.

"Severus—I know you're proud of what you did." Voldemort raised an eyebrow. "But you should also know why you were able to kill him."

"This is all because of our great master," Snape said, bowing respectfully.

Seeing him bend over, Voldemort chuckled softly, then turned his gaze back to the statue.

"We have to take action," he said slowly. "That Hamilton is plotting something very dangerous."

People are always unwilling to accept what has already happened.

Aren't you the same?

Snape looked at Voldemort without saying a word—if you had accepted the fact that you were dead long ago, you wouldn't still be standing here.

However, he could not say such things aloud, so he simply watched Voldemort quietly and listened to him speak.

"And Hamilton also gathered a large group of people just as stubborn as her." Voldemort paused, "The Hamilton family, the Sorcerers—the Order of the Phoenix—and the former Ministry of Magic."

"The longer they wait—the stronger they become, don't they?" Voldemort said, raising an eyebrow.

"Master—" At that moment, footsteps sounded; it was Bellatrix Lestrange, Voldemort's most loyal servant.

strange.

She was rescued by the Death Eaters during the previous Battle of Hogwarts. Although she had been captured, Voldemort still trusted her.

"Your loyal servants have all assembled."

"Loyal?" Voldemort said calmly. "If they were truly loyal—they wouldn't have arrived so late."

As he spoke, he looked towards the square, where a dense crowd of wizards stood beside the statue.

If you know enough about wizard families, you should be able to discover their identities.

Most of them are heads of pure-blood families, possessing immense wealth and wielding significant influence across various industries.

Even so, they stood there, waiting, quietly anticipating Voldemort's arrival.

Voldemort shook his head slightly, then turned his gaze to Snape.

"Severus—are you loyal enough?" he asked abruptly.

"I am willing to dedicate my life to the cause of my master," Snape said slowly and humbly.

Voldemort chuckled softly upon hearing this, said nothing, but flicked his robes, nodded, and then gently flicked his wand.

His body slowly rose into the air, and then fell back down.

Amid cheers from the crowd, he raised his hands and closed his eyes slightly.

Soon, his boots touched the ground, and he opened his black eyes.

"Compatriots! Brothers!" he said quietly, his tone not as cold as usual, but rather somewhat inflammatory.

With his voice, he tapped his wand, and the stone bricks beneath his feet surged up like a tide, lifting him slowly to the same height as the statue.

He stood atop the crowd, looking down at them: "The war against the despicable Mudbloods has reached its final stage."

"We defeated the stubborn Dumbledore and sent him and his ambitions to meet Merlin."

He paused slightly as he spoke, and the wizards in the square cheered at that moment.

Amid cheers, Voldemort smiled slightly: "Then we defeated the Ministry of Magic and reduced this cowardly, despicable den of lackeys to ashes!"

"On the ashes we have built a greater empire, and this great empire will continue from now until a thousand years from now!" Voldemort's voice was highly inflammatory, and with his words, the wizards in the square erupted in cheers.

Amid cheers, Voldemort flicked his wand, and the statue behind him had somehow transformed into his likeness.

This seemed to be a contrast to what he had said.

"Magic is might!" he shouted. "Let's send Hamilton and the last of the diehards to hell!"

"Magic is power! Magic is power!"

Looking at the cheering crowd, Voldemort grinned slightly, revealing a cold smile.

"From this moment forward—everyone, prepare for battle!" he declared. "Long live magic! Long live wizards!"

Watching the frenzied scene in the corridor, Snape remained silent, while Bella standing beside him shouted and yelled as if she had gone mad.

"Why don't you call out, Severus?"

"————" Snape's lips twitched slightly.

He spoke slowly in a cold, indifferent voice: "Long live magic! Long live wizards!" He then glanced at Bella.

Are you satisfied now?

Well—she didn't care about Snape at all; she was screaming wildly, almost falling off her feet.

But it was this very opportunity that allowed Snape to quietly pick up the quill from his sleeve and write something on a piece of paper.

One sentence.

"Danger—he's coming soon."

As the contents of the note were read aloud, the people in the principal's office all frowned.

"Is the information credible?" Shiloh asked slowly.

"He's trustworthy," Moody said earnestly. "He wouldn't lie to us."

"Then we should prepare properly, shouldn't we?" Shiloh said, looking at Loira. "How much more time do you need?"

"Almost there—almost there." Loila sat in the chair, her face slightly pale.

For her, who has been extremely busy these past few days, this is definitely not good news.

"Then we need to speed things up." Hilo sighed slightly as he spoke. "After all—we need to pool our resources as well."
