Douluo Continent: Starting by controlling the Holy Maiden of the Holy Spirit Cult

Chapter 22 The Scheming Green Tea Female Teacher

Most of the Star Dou Great Forest is located within the Star Luo Empire, with only a small portion in the Heavenly Soul Empire. Shrek Academy, on the other hand, is located in the northwest of the Star Dou Great Forest, not too far away.

Heading west, Huo Yuhao followed the road out of a forest and finally saw Shrek City on the plains ahead.

Shrek Academy is built on the Lima Plain, covering a vast area and essentially functioning as a city, hence its name, Shrek City. Shrek Academy has independent governance over this city and is not required to pay taxes to any nation. It can also be understood as a group of outlaws or lawless gangsters on the mainland.

Shrek Academy is not located in the center of Shrek City, but in the eastern part of Shrek City, because it faces the Star Dou Great Forest, making it convenient for Shrek Academy's strong members to lead their students to the Star Dou Great Forest to slaughter soul beasts and hunt for soul rings.

Shrek City is surrounded by continental routes in all directions, making its transportation network extremely convenient. It's not only home to Shrek Academy but also a crucial commercial city at the crossroads of the three major empires of the original Douluo Continent. Due to the overwhelming power of Shrek Academy, no force dares to cause trouble here, resulting in excellent public security. Trade here is not only fair but also more reassuring. Therefore, merchants from the three empires mostly choose Shrek City for their cross-border trade.

The south, west, and north gates of Shrek City are open to all, except for the east gate, which is exclusively for Shrek Academy.

This city gate is only for Shrek Academy's use, but it was extremely lively at this time. At least five thousand people had gathered outside the east gate, making the area outside the city gate exceptionally bustling.

In the original story, Huo Yuhao happened to be there when the academy was recruiting new students and successfully joined the class. These ordinary freshmen not only had to pass the assessment, but also needed recommendation letters from at least the main cities of the three major empires.

The name of the predecessor of Shrek Academy, Blue Tyrant Academy, is now largely forgotten. It was once one of the few advanced soul master academies that accepted students from commoner backgrounds. One wonders what the founder would think if he saw that students at Shrek Academy now need to prove their background upon admission.

In this life, Huo Yuhao has neither a letter of recommendation nor a spot for admission without examination from the Tang Sect. To pass the Shrek Academy's entrance examination, he must demonstrate the ability to attract the examiners.

At the east gate, there were more than a dozen young students from Shrek Academy guarding the area. Each of them was dressed in a dark green outfit with a green monster pattern on their chest.

Upon seeing Huo Yuhao attempting to enter Shrek City, they immediately stopped him. Their words were relatively gentle and polite.

"Young man, are you here to register for the entrance exam?" The leading male student walked up to Huo Yuhao and asked with a smile.

"Yes, I'll have to trouble you to help me register." Huo Yuhao nodded with a smile, pretending to be nervous, just like the other kids his age who came to register for the assessment.

These new students who came to register were all entrusted with boundless hopes by their respective family forces, so how could they not be nervous?

"Young man, there are requirements for enrolling in Shrek Academy. First, you must be no more than twelve years old. Second, your soul power must be at least level fifteen. Furthermore, you must have a recommendation letter from at least a major city-level official from one of the three great empires." The male student nodded and smiled. "Could you please demonstrate your current cultivation level? What level are you?"

Huo Yuhao smiled faintly. His martial soul had been activated at some point, simulating bright silver pupils that met the male student's gaze, sending chills down the latter's spine.

"What kind of martial soul is this? An eye? A physical martial soul?"

Two purple spirit rings rose from beneath Huo Yuhao's feet. The color of the spirit rings was changed to purple by Huo Yuhao's simulated spirit skills. Since the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm did not seal its energy much when it became Huo Yuhao's spirit rings, both of Huo Yuhao's spirit rings were actually platinum.

Platinum-gold can easily be mistaken for a ten-year spirit ring, since there is no precedent for a spirit ring of such an unusual color on the Douluo Continent. It would be impossible for someone with a white spirit ring to pass the Shrek Academy's freshman selection.

There's no way around it; their ancestral motto is to only accept monsters, not ordinary people. But it must be said that after ten thousand years of development, Shrek Academy truly reigns supreme on the continent in terms of the sheer number of pure Soul Master instructors.

Two thousand-year spirit rings! The onlookers exclaimed in surprise. The absorption limit of most ordinary spirit masters' first spirit ring is several hundred years. Those who can add more than a thousand years to their first spirit ring are all exceptionally talented.

"Senior, I don't have any recommendation letters. This is my personal file. Could you please make an exception for me?" Huo Yuhao said, pressing his personal file against the paper.

The duchess had already tampered with Huo Yuhao's background, so he could now confidently disclose his official identity information to the public.

"Wait a moment." The leading male student gave his companion a look and jogged off to find the academy leader to ask for instructions.

For these students responsible for recruitment, each exceptionally talented new student they recruit significantly boosts their academic performance. This explains why they treat all the students applying for the entrance exams with such kindness. After all, a poor performance could mean the academy misses out on a genius and jeopardize their chances of improving their graduation grades.

His companions were incredibly attentive, bringing Huo Yuhao drinks and snacks, practically treating him like royalty. This made the other freshmen participating in the assessment look at Huo Yuhao with envy.

Huo Yuhao leisurely found a place to sit down and enjoyed the top-notch treatment at Shrek Academy's admissions office. Although he had been eating highly nutritious soul beast flesh and blood during his year at the Holy Spirit Cult, the taste was really not that great.

A short while later, the male student returned, accompanied by a young and beautiful woman.

"Hello, little friend, my name is Mu Jin, and I'm an ordinary teacher at the academy. May I see your martial spirit?"

Approaching Huo Yuhao, the woman gave him a professional smile and introduced herself.

Mu Jin, is that the female teacher? Huo Yuhao's heart skipped a beat. Based on his recollection of the original plot, this woman was more like a scheming green tea character, a manipulative woman who always wanted to interfere in other people's marriages. Judging from her age, she should be a bit older than Zhongli Yu.

It's not fair to say she's inferior to Zhou Yi. In terms of actual appearance and theoretical research, although she doesn't have any advantages, she undoubtedly does a much better job in training students than Zhou Yi, that woman who, like the master, only makes students run laps.

After all, according to the original work, Dai Huabin and Zhu Lu, who were assigned to Class Two by Zhou Yi, were also exceptionally admitted to Shrek Academy's inner court under her guidance. It should be noted that before this, Dai Huabin had already been blacklisted by the inner court for his assassination attempt on Huo Yuhao.

This is no longer just a matter of Dai Huabin's talent; as a teacher, Mu Jin's teaching methods are also crucial.

Don't believe me? Look at the original story. Whenever Huo Yuhao and the other main characters' group of students went out to compete and didn't return, Zhou Yi's class would always be overshadowed by Mu Jin's class.

Objectively speaking, while she may be cunning, her teaching philosophy undoubtedly surpasses Zhou Yi's. Otherwise, how could Dai Huabin, Zhu Lu, and others, who had already been officially declared ineligible for the Inner Academy, have broken through the prejudice of the academy's higher-ups and regained the opportunity to enter the Inner Academy?

"Hello, Teacher Mu." Huo Yuhao returned a polite smile, and then two purple soul rings rose up beneath his feet, his deep blue pupils instantly turning into bright silver.

"It really is a true spirit! And a level 29 Great Soul Master!" Mu Jin's beautiful eyes lit up. Judging from Huo Yuhao's identity file, for a poor servant boy to achieve such accomplishments before the age of twelve is far beyond Shrek Academy's definition of a genius. He can only be described as a monster.

Of course, Huo Yuhao's true strength is far beyond what can be seen on the surface. Only he himself knows the truth. The reason he hasn't reached level 30 or above is because Bibi Dong is still rushing to make the divine soul ring he wants.

"Very good, I'll waive the recommendation letter for you. I'll take you to the freshman entrance exam." Mu Jin grabbed Huo Yuhao's small hand and was about to walk inside when she immediately noticed something was wrong and couldn't help but glance at Huo Yuhao's hand out of the corner of her eye.

Compared to his peers, Huo Yuhao's muscles and bones have been tempered by the blood pool, making his hands heavy and as hard as steel.

"Little friend, remember to come to my class after you pass the entrance exam." Mu Jin thought to herself that she had struck gold, and she could no longer hide the joy on her face. She leaned closer to Huo Yuhao and said in a breathy voice.

No boy at this age dislikes a gentle and beautiful older sister, especially since Mu Jin thought Huo Yuhao might not have even been in contact with beautiful women before. Therefore, she was confident that she could recruit this genius, Huo Yuhao, into her class.

The Shit Visitors are about to arrive. I'll share my thoughts on this place later. What kind of story, different from the original, will our Yuhao II encounter here? Stay tuned!!

Also, I'm not asking for a lot. If I can get more than 10 recommendation votes today, I'll do a big burst and start with five chapters!
