Chapter 105 Incarnation of Wujing and Wuneng

"When I created the Buddhist and Taoist system, it was only to give the beings in the West an opportunity. Now, the beings in the West have all undergone a qualitative change with the Buddhist and Taoist system, and the West is evolving better and better. However, you have also fallen into a bottleneck because of the shortcomings of the Buddhist and Taoist system. Therefore, I, as the founder of the Buddhist and Taoist system and the current leader of Buddhism, naturally cannot watch you sink into the bottleneck. Hence, I created the Three Realms of Journey to the West, which are comparable to the Three Methods of Cutting Through the Path."

"What are the Three Realms of Journey to the West? Journey to the West represents the West, the various aspects of the West, the minds of the beings in the West, and even more so, three realms of cultivation. As for what these three realms are, you'll have to look at the three lotus platforms I used to suppress the Buddhist fortune."

"The Three Realms of Journey to the West - First Realm - Enlightenment of Stillness! What is stillness? Stillness is tranquility, it is a calm mind. We cultivators were born in the primordial world, and everything we see, hear, do, and act upon is driven by our hearts. Therefore, our hearts are constantly beating, and we do all sorts of things in response to these beatings. Some of these things may be good, and some may be bad. But because of these things, our minds are filled with distracting thoughts, which affect our cultivation."

"Therefore, the core of this 'enlightenment and stillness' is to bring stillness to our hearts. It allows the Buddhist and Taoist world that we practitioners cultivate to become perfect, orderly, and quiet. This stillness is also in line with the Buddhist treasure of destiny, the Twelve-Petaled Pure White Lotus."

"Although the Pure White Lotus contains the Great Way of Purification, forged from the purification of impurities and distracting thoughts, its core is the concept of 'purification of the world,' purifying our inner Buddhist realm and leading us to a state of purity. This represents the attainment of 'enlightenment and tranquility.'"

"The second of the three realms of the Journey to the West is Enlightenment! The 'ability' in Enlightenment does not represent your abilities, but rather a kind of precept, a kind of merit. As Buddhist practitioners, we will encounter many things from the moment we embark on the path of cultivation. Among these many things, what can be done? What cannot be done? I suspect you are not clear about that."

"However, from now on, you will know that you can do good deeds when you are not doing good deeds, but you cannot do them when you are not doing good deeds. You cannot do things that violate the precepts, but you can do them when you are in accordance with the precepts. This ability will prevent us from being tainted by cause and effect, and will endow us with great merit. This is in accordance with the Qi Yun Ling Bao Twelve-Petaled Golden Lotus of Merit."

The state of "such enlightenment" enables us to perform meritorious deeds, cultivate a virtuous heart, and also cultivate a heart of self-discipline.

Only in this way can one forge one's own path to Buddhahood amidst endless comprehension of the Great Dao and the constant changes of the primordial world.

"The Three Realms of the Journey to the West - The Third Realm - Wukong! The emptiness within Wukong signifies annihilation, the meaning of all things becoming empty. We..."

A lifetime of cultivation is ultimately for the attainment of the Great Dao. Whether practicing the Buddhist or Taoist systems, or the first two stages of the Three Realms of the Journey to the West, the core remains the pursuit of the Great Dao, the attainment of Primordial Chaos. However, excessive pursuit may prevent one from achieving it.

"Such an obsession with pursuing the Great Dao is like a restless monkey. This monkey in our hearts will affect our attainment of the Dao over time. Therefore, we need to empty ourselves of our obsessions, extinguish them, and become free from desires and wants in order to subdue our monkey hearts. Only in this state can we pursue the Great Dao in its primordial state."

"Therefore, this realm corresponds to the third treasure of Buddhist and Taoist destiny: the Black Lotus of Nirvana. From Nirvana, we subdue our restless mind and dispel our ego. From Nirvana, we pursue the true Great Way and ultimately achieve Hunyuan (primordial unity)."

"This journey through the three realms to the west is the wondrous method within the Buddhist and Taoist systems that allows us to break through bottlenecks and pursue the Great Dao of Primordial Chaos."

Silence fell upon all the Buddhist and Taoist practitioners. They listened to Di Qing's explanation of the Journey to the West and also comprehended the profound mysteries of the three realms of the journey.

With their limited wisdom and understanding, it was naturally difficult for them to comprehend this method in a short time. Di Qing remained calm about this, pondering the three realms of the Journey to the West that he had created, and a sense of感慨 arose in his heart.

Speaking of which, Di Qing's creation of the Three Realms of Journey to the West was inspired by the later Journey to the West, and by Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing.

What is Journey to the West? Is it a great calamity? Is it a Buddhist conspiracy? These questions remain unanswered. But what is certain is that Journey to the West is a trial, a path to Buddhahood.

Therefore, Emperor Qing comprehended the various aspects of the Journey to the West and ultimately transformed the Journey to the West into a path to sainthood and enlightenment.

The various tribulations encountered on the journey to the West eventually transformed into three realms.

This allows cultivators of the Buddhist and Taoist systems to embark on a journey to the West, guided by their own hearts. Along this path, they must overcome numerous tribulations, ultimately achieving the Three Realms of Journey to the West, obtaining the true scriptures, and attaining the Primordial Chaos.

As he pondered, Jieyin cried out in Buddhist chant: "Emperor Qing Buddha, I have gained some understanding of the three realms of the Western Journey you spoke of. Achieving these three realms would fundamentally transform our Dao heart, and our cultivation would undoubtedly increase greatly. However, to become a Buddha or Dao Saint, to reach the Great Dao Primordial Chaos, one needs not only higher realms, but also greater accumulation and foundation. I wonder…"

"Haha... The Three Methods of Severing the Dao can sever three avatars, becoming the foundation for one's breakthrough. In the Three Realms of the Journey to the West, naturally, as one cultivates the three realms, three avatars will evolve."

"When one achieves 'Enlightenment and Stillness,' the distracting thoughts in one's mind are melted away and can evolve into an avatar. This avatar exists to comprehend the stillness of the mind."

Evolution, therefore this incarnation can also be called the Incarnation of Enlightenment and Tranquility.

When one achieves "Enlightenment," the many precepts in one's heart will transform into an incarnation. This incarnation is a fusion of the precepts and can be named Enlightenment, or it can evolve according to the precepts in one's heart. For example, if you evolve eight precepts in your heart, it is called the Eight Precepts. If you evolve nine precepts, it is called the Nine Precepts.

"When one cultivates to become 'Wukong,' all the obsessions in one's heart will be completely transformed into emptiness. These obsessions will also transform into an incarnation of Wukong. In particular, the restlessness of obsessions is the strongest point in a cultivator's heart. Therefore, the Wukong incarnation that is formed will inevitably be extremely powerful."

"The three incarnations of Wujing, Wuneng, and Wukong have become the foundation upon which you accumulate your strength. As you cultivate, they will gradually grow stronger and become the foundation for your future breakthroughs."

Whether it's the Three Methods of Severing the Dao or the Three Corpses, they are all fundamentally derived from the Primordial Chaos Method that Luo Lian presented back then. Therefore, the Three Realms of the Journey to the West naturally also involve the method of incarnation.

These three incarnations correspond to Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing in our memories.

It must be said that Di Qing really put a lot of creative ideas into the Journey to the West concept. It's estimated that later generations would never have imagined that Di Qing could create such a secret method for attaining enlightenment based on the Journey to the West.

Jieyin and Zhunti listened intently, their expressions gradually changing, their hearts stirring with emotion. It seemed they had gained some understanding, or even been deeply moved.

Di Qing also saw the changes in Jieyin and Zhunti. With a flick of his finger, he instantly transmitted all the cultivation methods of the three realms of the Journey to the West, as well as his many insights, to Jieyin and Zhunti.

Jieyin and Zhunti looked at each other and respectfully expressed their gratitude: "Thank you, Buddha, for transmitting the Dharma."
