Chapter 197: The Gift

Upon returning to the castle, Rosie immediately reported Nilu's situation to the castle authorities, and then she entered the castle as Rosie's contracted magical pet.

Nilu's situation seems quite complicated, involving both hellhounds and soul transfer, but in the wizarding world, it's not so unacceptable, and the wizards are only slightly surprised by it.

Many wizards envied Rosie for being able to sign a contract with her, since the powerful magical creature, the Hellhound, was equivalent to the strength of a high-level wizard.

Even at the very beginning, some pure-blooded wizard families came to Rosie to propose a deal, trying to buy Nel from him.

Rosie rejected all of these offers. If it were any other wizard, they would probably have hesitated, since those wizard families are not to be trifled with and ordinary people would not dare to provoke them easily.

However, Rosie didn't care. He had even provoked a top wizarding family like the Best, so why would he be afraid of others?

Although these wizard families were somewhat displeased, they didn't dare to use force. After all, not only was he himself very strong, but he also had a high-level magical pet like Nilu. Moreover, Rosie was now a rising genius in the South Coast Wizarding Domain, and few people dared to offend him easily.

After entering the castle, Nel went to visit her blood brother, the apprentice named Jon from last time.

The story tells of how the siblings were initially identified as having wizarding potential and were led onto the path of wizardry by a guide. However, on their way to the castle, she was unfortunately kidnapped by a dark wizard.

Luo Xi had a strong impression of that boy. After hearing that the Southern Coast Witch Domain was going to attack the Dark Forest, he even signed up to participate. However, because his strength was relatively low, he was not assigned to the front-line battlefield.

He had thought he would never see Nel again, so when Nel came to his door, the young apprentice was quite surprised.

Although their appearances had changed, the familiarity of their blood ties remained. After a brief conversation, Jon quickly recognized her as his younger sister and learned about her past from Nel.

Afterwards, the young apprentice specifically sought out Luo Xi to express his sincere gratitude.

It was only then that Rosie learned that Nel and Jon's parents had both passed away. Before that, the siblings had relied on each other for survival, each being the other's only family in the world. This shows how much Nel's loss had affected Jon.

"I thought I would never see Nel again in this lifetime, Wizard. It was you, it was you who saved us."

Jon knelt on the ground, pressing his head deeply into the earth.

After that, Nel settled down in the castle, spending most of her time with Rosie and occasionally visiting Jon, as the two places were not far apart.

Upon seeing Nel approaching, Rosie immediately stopped her magic training and asked, "Is there something you need, Nel?"

Nilu said, "A guest came to the house to see you, and Nicole asked me to come and find you to go back."

Luo Xi raised an eyebrow: "A guest?"

Nilu nodded: "It's that chubby wizard, the one who used to come to the Wizard's Tower to buy materials."

Green?

Luo Xi nodded: "Okay, I understand."

Nilu broke the seal, and enveloped in magical glow, she quickly transformed from a little girl back into the form of a hellhound, carrying Rosie back home.

Moonglade wasn't far from the castle, and Rosie returned to the castle in about ten minutes.

His residence had been arranged in the wizard's quarters, which was a two-story detached house in a garden on the east side of the castle.

From afar, Nilu could be seen standing in front of the courtyard gate, but there was no sign of Fatty Green beside her.

"Are you back?" Nicole walked over and, seeing the sweat on Rosie's cheeks, naturally took out a handkerchief to wipe it off for him.

"Hmm." Rosie nodded, then looked around. "Where's Green?"

Nicole said, "He said he has something to give you, but it can only be received at the beach. He's gone there now and tells you to find him at the beach later."

Luo Xi looked at him strangely: "The beach? What's this fat guy up to?"

Nicole stuck out her tongue: "I don't know either. Shall we go over there?"

Luo Xi nodded: "Let's go take a look."

After such a long period of interaction, he and Green had become quite familiar with each other, and he got along very well with this friend he could talk to.

Rosie then pulled Nicole onto Nilu's back and headed towards the beach.

For the hellhound, whose body length exceeds twenty seconds, Rosie and Nicole had no problem sitting on its back, and their running was no different from before.

The South Coast Witch Domain is adjacent to the coastline, and there are many places by the sea. However, within the castle, there is only one area that is mentioned as the seaside: Silver Sand Coast.

This is a coastline located on the west side of Elemental Castle. It is a private coastline belonging to Elemental Castle. Occasionally, when wizards conduct courses that require the seaside, they will lead their apprentices there.

It's only a few dozen miles from the castle, and the castle's ships have a dedicated route, so it only takes about one or two hours to get there.

However, riding Nil was much faster; Rosie arrived at her destination in less than twenty minutes.

Sunlight spills across the shimmering sea, golden rays intertwining with the deep blue to create a captivating scene. The waves gently lap against the shore, producing melodious sounds that bring a sense of comfort and tranquility.

"Hey! Rosie, over here!"

From afar, he could hear Green's voice carried by the sea breeze. When Rosie turned around, he saw Green's round body standing on the beach waving at him.

Rosie helped Nicole off Nilu and then walked over.

Green laughed loudly, "Aha, my friend, you've finally arrived! I've been waiting for you for a long time."

Luo Xi rolled her eyes and said, "Who told you not to give me any advance notice? I was cultivating outside and even put down my magic to come here."

Green said, "Then you've really made the right decision. After all, I've brought you a very valuable gift today, and you definitely won't be disappointed."

Luo Xi said, "Then I'll have to keep my eyes wide open."

"Haha, come with me."

Green laughed loudly, then led Rosie towards the sea, stopping only when they reached the ocean.

Then he took an item out of his pocket.

Seeing the item in Green's hand, Rosie's eyes lit up: "This is..."
