Chapter 45: The Wizard's Bonfire Feast

Chapter 45: The Wizard's Bonfire Feast

It was already midnight when we returned to the Elemental Castle.

"Then, apprentice Rosie, if you have made your decision, you may write to me at any time."

"OK."

These were just polite words. In his heart, Rosie already kept his distance from the Elzerin family. Although they were wealthy, some of their methods were unpleasant, and Rosie felt that they were not compatible.

Take Sophia's matter for example. He doesn't believe there could be such a coincidence. Sophia's invitation to him must have been arranged by the other party. But what is the purpose of doing so?

The intention is to suggest that even the most sought-after genius witches and the most beautiful witches can be freely obtained within their families, thus raising expectations.

Or is it to prove that no matter what kind of genius he is, he must obey orders in Elzerin, and thus to put him in his place?

Luo Xi didn't understand, but no matter what, he felt that this family's background was too complicated. Although the price offered was tempting, he was afraid that it was beyond the reach of a mere apprentice like himself.

Let's keep life simple.

Putting aside her jumbled thoughts, Rosie quickly returned to her dorm room with Nicole.

In the dormitory, Nicole was already fast asleep, lying flat on the bed like a little female cat with her arms curled up, the blanket long since kicked to the foot of the bed.

I don't know why, but she always sleeps like this, in a strange position.

Rosie walked over, took off her shoes, socks, and cloak, and lay down to the side. Although she moved very gently, Nicole still woke up.

She groggily opened her eyes and glanced at Luo Xi, mumbling, "You're back?"

Rosie nodded: "Yes, I'm back."

After saying that, he raised his hand to free his shoulder, meaning that Nicole could snuggle into his arms and sleep with him.

However, Nicole seemed to misunderstand him, asking in confusion, "Now?"

Then, answering his own question, he said, "Okay."

After saying that, he yawned, got out of bed, climbed onto Rosie, and sat on Rosie's waist.

Luo Xi asked, "What are you doing?"

Nicole was taken aback.

Their eyes met, and she finally realized what was happening, her expression one of understanding.

She nodded and said, "Okay."

She then took the hairband from her wrist, tied up her hair, and bent down.

I fainted.

Luo Xi was speechless. How did this misunderstanding even happen?

Ok…

Forget it, let it be a misunderstanding!

This time, it was exceptionally long.

Firstly, because he had seen too many beautiful sights at the manor, his interest had been aroused to a high level, and once the suppressed emotions were released, they became uncontrollable. Secondly, when they were halfway through, it happened to be the time when men are most energetic in the morning, which added fuel to the almost burnt campfire, making it burn even higher.

So much so that it took several hours before Rosie finally ended her missionary work just before Nicole was about to give up.

"Complete an effort. A critical hit occurs, time added 13 days."

afterwards.

Luo Xi lay flat on the bed, while Nicole lay limp on top of him like a lump of mud, panting heavily. A blush ran down her neck to her groin.

She said resentfully, "What are you doing? You've almost ruined me."

Luo Xi looked slightly embarrassed: "Sorry."

Seeing Rosie's expression, Nicole reached out and touched his cheek again: "Fine, I forgive you. Anyway, I'm used to it."

Indeed, due to Rosie's excessive energy, she would always make some strange requests, but Nicole would never say no.

Looking at the beauty in his arms, Luo Xi suddenly remembered Sophia.

Indeed, restaurant pastries may be more exquisitely made and have a more delicate taste, but after the initial novelty wears off, they are really nothing special. The bread that you can eat again and again and that can truly warm your heart is still homemade bread.

Seemingly noticing Rosie's gaze, Nicole looked up and asked, "What are you looking at?"

Luo Xi kissed her arm, then reached out and touched her cheek. Without answering, he turned and looked out the window.

It was dawn. The night had receded, and the sun was rising from behind the mountains. The light of dawn stretched a golden line along the contours of the mountains, and the earth, forests, lakes, and mountains could be seen to light up little by little.

"It's dawn," Luo Xi said.

Nicole nodded: "Yes, it's dawn."

Luo Xi said, "Let's go to Fairy Street later and I'll buy you a witch's tool. What do you want?"

Nicole said, "Buying witchcraft tools? What's the big deal?"

Luo Xi said, "Haven't you made a lot of money lately? I haven't bought you anything decent yet. Don't refuse, just think about what you want."

Nicole chuckled playfully, "Haha, then don't cry, I'm going on a shopping spree!"

Even so, Nicole ultimately didn't buy anything.

This was because while strolling through the market, the two saw an invisibility cloak that was very similar to the one in Harry Potter.

Rosie once told Nicole about Harry Potter as a knight-errant novel. Knowing that Rosie also wanted an invisibility cloak, Nicole dragged him to buy it without further ado.

The cloak cost over three thousand magic stones, which even Rosie emptied her pockets for. In the end, Nicole added a few hundred more from her savings.

Rosie had originally planned to buy things for Nicole, but Nicole didn't get anything and ended up emptying her own savings. Rosie felt quite embarrassed.

Nicole, however, was quite open-minded about it.

"I don't really want anything right now. What I want most is what you want, so let's talk about the rest later."

She never seems to put herself first.

Time flies by with its leisurely pace, and in the blink of an eye, another three months have passed, bringing the training period to a complete end.

A group of lucky apprentices who pass the final assessment will soon enter the inner fortress and receive further training in the tower. They will not need to worry about cultivation resources, and their future path to becoming wizards will be relatively easier.

The remaining unlucky ones could only be thrown into various areas of the castle and even the southern coastal witch realm, such as plantations, forests, or the sea, to take on various responsibilities, such as cultivating magical materials, patrolling forests, or crossing oceans to find apprentices.

But whether they were the lucky ones at the beginning or the unlucky ones at the end, everyone was still striving in different ways to move forward on this arduous path of wizardry.

Nighttime, Mirror Lake, graduation party.

Bright lights illuminated the shore of Mirror Lake, and grayish-white smoke billowed from a large crucible as tall as a person. Every now and then, apprentices would use spoons to scoop out all sorts of strange foods such as frog legs and lizard meat.

The bonfire blazed brightly, and witches dressed in black cloaks danced around it with brooms, their devilish steps echoing through the air. The obscure melodies, under the influence of the elements, condensed into tangible musical notes that floated into the sky in droves.

"An old magic wand ignites a brand new campfire."

"Crows are circling, spoons are flying."

"Build a tall fire, place a large cauldron on top, and make sure to add Screaming Fruit to the pot."

Accompanied by this obscure and strange song, clusters of flames flew up from the bonfire and transformed into large firebirds, flying across the calm lake surface and soaring straight into the sky before exploding with a loud bang.

In an instant, it was as if giant red dandelions were blooming in the night sky, with thousands of bright lines of fire swirling and dancing in the air, sometimes turning into frogs and lizards, and sometimes into four-leaf clover hats, creating an extremely magical scene.

Alan was wrestling with his apprentices, and a few of them, after drinking power potions, took him down. Meanwhile, Aina was dancing a witch's dance with the other witches.

Rosie sat by the lake, and Ni leaned on his shoulder as they looked up at the dazzling, magical fireworks in the sky.

The 128 apprentices gathered joyfully on the lakeshore, around the bonfire, amidst the fireworks, to spend this happy and memorable graduation ceremony together.

"An old magic wand ignites a brand new campfire."

"Crows are circling, spoons are flying."

"Build a tall fire, place a large cauldron on top, and make sure to add Screaming Fruit to the pot."

"Oh! Wizard, wizard! The path I will walk in the future."
