Crocus's gaze swept over the Ark Maxims and landed on Roy.

Then, he put down the newspaper.

"Emperor of Heavenly Dao, Roy."

Crocus's voice was slow and leisurely.

"It's you, kid. What are you doing here?"

Roy smiled and greeted him politely, "Mr. Crocus, it's been a long time."

Crocus sized him up, his old eyes peering through his round-framed glasses as if he were looking at something interesting.

Crocus – Roger Pirates' ship's doctor.

He sailed with Roger for three years, reached Laugh Tale, and learned the truth about this world.

"Come in and have a seat."

Crocus stood up and walked towards Lab's mouth.

"It's more comfortable inside than outside."

Roy led the group, following Crocus into Lab's body.

Raab's stomach was transformed into a "floating clinic".

The space was surprisingly large—the stomach walls were painted a pale blue, and several oil lamps hung there, casting a warm glow.

There was a table and several chairs in the center, and a bed in the corner.

Even more outrageous, there was a small garden next door with a few unknown flowers and plants.

"Wow!" Yamato exclaimed, looking around. "This place is really interesting!"

Pea squatted by the garden edge, her eyes shining: "These flowers... I've never seen anything like them before!"

Crocus sat down at the table, poured himself a cup of tea, and pushed it toward Roy, his eyes deep.

"Roger, he didn't achieve this much when he was your age, did he?"

Roy took the teacup, took a sip, and said, "Roger! He was indeed an admirable man!"

Kurokas was silent for a moment, then looked at a spot on the stomach wall, his gaze becoming distant.

"He's a bastard."

The old man spoke, his voice tinged with laughter.

"I'm not afraid of anything, I can do whatever I want."

The people on the ship were thoroughly exhausted by him, but none of them wanted to leave.

He paused, then lowered his voice.

"He always said that someone would emerge in the future who would create an even bigger wave. A wave bigger than his, bigger than anyone else's."

Crocus turned his head and looked at Roy.

"I initially thought it was that brat Shanks. Now it seems..."

He shook his head and didn't say anything more.

Roy put down his teacup without saying a word.

He understood what Crocus meant.

The person Roger predicted should have been Luffy.

But now, Roy has taken that position ahead of time.

"Mr. Crocus," Roy changed the subject, "Ab's head injury..."

Crocus sighed, "Waiting for the Rumbar Pirates. We've been waiting for fifty years."

His voice was full of helplessness.

"Those guys promised it they'd come back after circling the Grand Line."

They never returned.

This silly whale has been crashing into the red earth for fifty years.

I've tried to persuade it countless times, but it's no use.

We can only do our best to treat him!

Yamato's eyes reddened as he listened: "Fifty years..."

The pea whispered, "So pitiful..."

Roy was silent for a moment, then stood up.

"I'll go talk to it."

Crocus was taken aback: "You're talking to a whale?"

Roy didn't explain, walked out of the clinic, and came to the edge of Rab's stomach wall.

His telekinetic powers probed into Labu's consciousness—a chaotic space filled with sorrow.

He saw Raab's memories.

The Rumbar Pirates' ship, those laughing faces, that afro-haired skull playing the violin.

There was also a promise—to circle the Grand Line once and then come back to pick it up.

Then came fifty years of waiting. Fifty years of impact. Fifty years of solitude.

Roy took a deep breath, and his telekinetic power transformed into a gentle voice that entered the depths of Lab's consciousness.

"Labu".

Raab's consciousness flickered.

"Your companions haven't forgotten you. They met with an accident, but one of them survived."

Raab's consciousness fluctuated violently.

His name is Brooke.

He ate the Fruit of the Underworld and turned into a skeleton.

He's still on the Grand Line, waiting to reunite with you.

A surge of emotions welled up in Raab's mind—shock, joy, disbelief.

"Wait for someone, in the near future, a pirate wearing a straw hat. He will bring Brook to you."

Raab fell silent.

Then, a simple response came from its consciousness—not words, but an emotion: trust.

Roy opened his eyes and returned to the clinic.

"It won't crash into the red earth again," he said.

Crocus was stunned: "You... what did you say to it?"

"It said what it wanted to hear."

Crocus stared at Roy for a long time, then shook his head and smiled.

"Roger is right. You're definitely different, kid."

He picked up the teapot and poured Roy another cup.

"Tell me, what brings you to this old man?"

Roy pointed to Roy, who was standing in the corner.

"Platinum lead poisoning. I'd like to ask you to take a look."

Crocus put down the teapot, walked over to Law, and squatted down.

"Kid, take off your clothes."

Luo hesitated for a moment, then took off his shirt. The white patches on his chest and arms were particularly glaring under the light.

Kurokas examined the situation for a while, his expression growing increasingly grave.

"The lead poison has seeped into the bone marrow."

He stood up and shook his head.

"I can only delay the onset of the disease, not cure it completely."

Luo's eyes darkened.

"Let's go to the Drum Kingdom."

Kurokas said,

"There's a doctor there who's even more skilled than me—the witch Dr. Kureha. If there's anyone in this world who can heal you, it's her."

Roy nodded. "Thank you."

Crocus waved his hand: "Don't thank me. I wasn't able to help at all."

He looked at Luo, his gaze softening.

"Kid, don't be discouraged."

Your illness is not terminal. It can be cured as long as you find the right person.

Luo lowered his head, clenched his fists, and softly hummed in agreement.

"Let's go! To the lighthouse!"

Guided by Crocus, the group opened the "skylight" above their heads and followed the fountain on Laboon's back to leave Laboon's body.

Crocus patted Laboon on the back with satisfaction.

"Now Laboon won't crash into the Red Line anymore, and my old bones can finally get a good rest!"

Yamato climbed out of the skylight and ran around, finally jumping onto Rabu's head.

He pulled out paint from somewhere and carved a huge mark on Labu's forehead—a red ring with a curved red scratch.

"Starting today!"

She stood with her hands on her hips and announced loudly,

"You're now under the protection of our Roy Pirates!"

"If anyone bullies you, say our names!"

Laboo seemed to understand, letting out a joyful whale cry and slapping its tail, splashing waves across the sea.

Crocus stood at the lighthouse entrance, watching this scene, and silently wiped the corner of his eye.

"These brats," he cursed, but a smile played on his lips.

The group boarded the Ark of Proverbs and flew towards the lighthouse.
