For a cultivation system to be recognized by all living beings in the primordial world, besides having top-tier powerful beings oversee it, it is also crucial to enable lower-level cultivators to cultivate and reach the highest realm through continuous practice.

The stages of Arhat, Pratyekabuddha, Dharma Protector, Vajra, Arhat, and Bodhisattva arose accordingly, becoming one of the foundational states of Buddhist practice!

However, in the past twenty cycles of rebirth, no being has been able to follow this path and attain supreme enlightenment and the state of supreme truth.

Therefore, in the eyes of the Three Pure Ones and Nuwa, Buddhism and Taoism have huge flaws!

There are indeed saints in the Taoist path, and the two saints in Buddhism are also saints of the Taoist path, but they evolved a branch based on the Taoist path.

This is also why Laozi, the Supreme Lord, would say that Buddhism is originally Tao when he preached.

Even if the West flourishes and Buddhism and Taoism spread throughout the heavens, as long as no living being can cultivate to the state of supreme enlightenment and supreme truth by following the Buddhist and Taoist system created by the Guide and the Cundi, Buddhism and Taoism will not be considered to have truly broken free from the shackles of the immortal path and become independent of it!

The two Western Saints placed high hopes on the Buddhas of the Three Worlds, but these individuals only barely touched upon the realms of Supreme Enlightenment and Supreme Suchness.

The final step was like an insurmountable chasm, one that even the Buddhas who traversed the three worlds could not cross.

Therefore, many powerful beings in the Primordial Realm doubt that the supreme enlightenment and supreme truth of Buddhism and Taoism cannot be achieved at all.

They believed that this was a story fabricated by the two Western Saints to deceive all living beings in the primordial world.

Otherwise, since they had attained enlightenment in both the immortal and Buddhist realms, Jieyin and Zhunti should have already achieved both enlightenments and their strength should be greater than that of the Three Pure Ones and Goddess Nuwa!

If Xuan Yin hadn't been to the Buddhist realm, he probably would have doubted the authenticity of this realm.
