Chapter 133 The Battle of the Mysterious Pass: They Are a Perfectly Matched Pair of Scoundrels
"What are you standing there for?"
Mercury, who had just arrived on the 5th floor, immediately spotted Tomie standing there.
I asked a strange question without giving it much thought.
"Why are you so late coming back?"
Tomie stood at the door and naturally went to greet him, completely oblivious to the spoiled behavior she had shown in room 503.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and jumped onto him with a thud.
She wrapped her legs around Mercury's waist and gazed at him affectionately.
"Um...did you do something naughty again?" Mercury reached out and supported her buttocks, walking towards 504 without stopping, his tone carrying a hint of habitual helplessness.
Tomie is acting a bit strange today.
Based on his understanding of Tomie, he figured she was probably lying in bed or on the sofa right now, looking at luxury goods online, or teasing her devoted fans.
He turned on the door, and the motion-sensor light in the entryway turned on, but it wasn't the familiar warm white; instead, it was a hazy purple.
An eerie light spilled across the floor tiles, enveloping the entire entryway in an ambiguous and indescribable atmosphere.
Mercury paused, this purple light... he had only ever seen it in foot massage parlors.
He glanced down at Tomie.
The deliberately adjusted color tone made Tomie's profile appear both bright and dark, and the mole at the corner of her eye shone with an eerie allure in the purple halo.
"You changed careers?"
"Who knows~" Tomie looked up, her possessiveness almost overflowing in her eyes. "Me? Oh dear!"
Before Tomie could finish speaking, Mercury placed her on the ground.
We returned to our room almost without stopping for a moment.
……
"Tomie, where's my bank card?"
Mercury walked out of the room with a sigh, holding a small bottle of the village chief's wine in his hand.
Surprisingly, Tomie was able to find his bank card even though he hid it under the bed, but luckily the alcohol wasn't lost.
"Here it is~"
Tomie shook the card between her fingers, tucked it into her collar, and walked step by step toward Mercury.
The glow of the ultraviolet light shifted, and as Tomie moved, her shadow grew larger and larger, gradually enveloping Mercury within it.
"A battle at the entrance?" Mercury looked at the scene.
He had to admit, it was indeed quite tempting.
If it weren't Tomie, but anyone else...
"Isn't your money your sister's money? What do you think, little brother?" She chuckled softly, standing in front of him, her shadow gradually shrinking back to his feet.
Her fingertips slowly traced the edge of his collar, her nails occasionally brushing against his warm skin, causing a slight, almost imperceptible itch.
"Remember to return what you bought; that's my money." Mercury's tone was calm and unfazed.
Why wasn't I angry this time?
Used to it.
As long as it's not too excessive, indulging occasionally is fine.
Moreover, this money was only the first payment Coco had made.
Tomie moved closer to him, her nose brushing against his jawline. "Why do you have to return it? Wouldn't it be better if I kept it for you?"
As she spoke, she reached around from behind with her other hand, hooked it around his waist, and pulled him toward her.
The distance between the two instantly closed, and the ultraviolet light cast their shadows on the wall, overlapping into an ambiguous mass.
Mercury looked at her; the two were now pressed tightly together, their breaths hitting each other's faces.
According to the plot, something joyful should have happened here.
But a single sentence from Mercury interrupted this ambiguous scene.
"I think I've told you more than once that you have bad breath."
The air froze for half a second.
Tomie's smile froze instantly, and even the movement of her fingertips caressing his collar stopped in mid-air.
The halo of the ultraviolet light still lingered around the two of them, but the ambiguous atmosphere burst like a bubble that had been popped, shattering completely with a snap.
She abruptly released her grip on his lower back, took a half step back, raised her hand to cover her mouth, and breathed out a puff of air.
Given the current atmosphere, the claim that she has bad breath made Tomie somewhat suspicious.
A rose scent wafted into my nose, indeed the scent of the luxury brand mouthwash she used.
"Mercury." She gritted her teeth, her voice laced with rage, her fingertip pointing at his chest. "You did this on purpose!?"
The halo of the ultraviolet light was still swaying eerily. Tomie stared at Mercury's punchable face, and the interrupted ambiguity instantly turned into anger.
She gritted her teeth, stopped arguing with him, and with a flick of her wrist, grabbed Mercury's collar.
Before Mercury could react, she exerted her strength and slammed him hard against the entryway door.
With a muffled "bang," the purple glow of the motion sensor light trembled.
"So what if it was intentional?" Tomie's face was lowered, their noses touching, their warm breaths filled with the scent of roses, her tone carrying an undeniable forcefulness, "I'm going to have you today."
"It's that kind of plot twist again." Mercury clicked his tongue in exasperation. "This is truly going against the natural order. You're trying to emulate Deep Winter..."
"Don't mention that bitch!"
Before he could finish speaking, Tomie cut him off.
She tiptoed and her fragrant lips collided with his, the force so forceful it seemed she wanted to devour him whole.
Mercury's breath hitched, and the bottle in his hand wobbled.
Tomie's kiss was haphazard, yet it carried an extreme possessiveness; her tongue forcefully pried open his teeth, as if asserting her dominance.
"Seriously... now... I guess I really can't kill you..."
Mercury's gaze shifted from initial surprise to helpless indulgence, before he finally raised his hand to embrace her waist and returned the domineering kiss.
"It would have been better if we had done this earlier." Tomie chuckled softly, panting heavily.
Mercury rolled his eyes, too lazy to pay her any attention.
"Mercury...remove your armor."
"Still doing it?"
"Dry!"
The ultraviolet light cast their shadows onto the door panel, where they overlapped.
A drop of crimson blood silently fell onto the floor tiles in the entryway.
