Chapter 224 Punishment for Breaking the Rules

Zhishu and Chuyuan searched the island for a whole day, but couldn't find Jingchen! Several days passed like this. They even used branches to make an "SOS" sign on the beach, hoping to get rescue through it.

Looking at Chu Yuan beneath the monster, and seeing the tears Chu Yuan shed, Zhi Shu suddenly recalled the days he had spent with Chu Yuan over the past month. He picked up a wooden stick, seemingly having made up his mind, and shouted at the monster, "Let go of Chu Yuan!"

Tomoki charged at the monster with a wooden stick, yelling, "Monster!" His stick struck the monster, snapping instantly. But Tomoki didn't give up. He discarded the broken stick and continued punching the monster. Each time he raised his fist, a trickle of blood appeared; clearly, his hand was injured.

"Let go, let go of Chu Yuan!" Zhi Shu shouted while fighting the monster.

After the monster disappeared, what appeared in Tomoki and Chuyuan's sight was Ikaros, holding a fish in her right hand. Both of them had eaten a whale. The atmosphere instantly froze; Tomoki and Chuyuan stared blankly at Ikaros.

"The monster is Icarus, so what was that voice?" Chu Yuan asked. "Where are the seniors?"

Suddenly, a grove of trees behind them collapsed like a painting, and light instantly streamed in. Once their eyes adjusted to the bright light, they saw Shouxing, Meixiangzi, Jingchen, and Meixiangzi's father sitting inside.

The two of them just stared at each other, neither saying a word. Jing Chen, on the other hand, leisurely picked up his teacup and took a sip of tea.

Mikako put down her teacup, smiled, took out a tape recorder, pressed play, and the sound that came out was the same sound that would appear at night.

Zhishu and Chuyuan froze on the spot, listening to the sound coming from the tape recorder and looking at the three people sitting inside.

"Wow, what a show! This is punishment for breaking our clan's rules. Now we're even," said Mikako's father.

Mikako held a remote control, pressed a button, and a screen descended from the ceiling. The screen displayed exactly what Tomoki had said to Chuyuan at the beach just moments before.
