Chapter 245 The World in Dreams

"I got tangled in the line while fishing, and it seems like I haven't moved for the past three days," Shouxing said.

Shouxing suddenly poked his head out of the tent and said to Nymph, "Nymph, come here for a second."

Nymph opened the tent flap and stepped inside. "What is it, Guardian?"

Nymph knelt down and Shouxing handed her a watch. "Take this first."

Nymph looked at the watches in her hands; the second hand was still ticking away.

"A watch?" Nymph asked.

"And another thing..." Shouxing whispered something in Nymph's ear.

"Well, there's no problem," Nymph said.

Chu Yuan, carrying something, walked near the tent and saw a purple light coming from a crack. He went in and asked Shou Xing, "Senior, what are you doing...?"

Before he could finish speaking, Chu Yuan was shocked by the scene inside the tent. Inside the tent, in front of Shou Xing was a purple portal, Nymph was kneeling to one side, doing something unknown, and Jing Chen was standing behind Shou Xing.

Hearing Chu Yuan's voice, the three of them turned to look at him. Shou Xing said, "I told you, there's a place we need to go."

Shouxing put down what he was carrying and, while taking things out of his bag, replied, "I'm here to investigate."

"You said you were investigating... but there's nothing here. That strange stone slab, and the oak trees. And then there's just the endless sky." Chu Yuan walked around, then reached the edge and peered out into the distance.

The world Jing Chen is currently in is a product of Synapse, the world he stands upon. To fulfill someone's wish, Synapse only needs to modify the data of this world. This is the essence of fulfilling wishes.

Jing Chen turned around and saw Shou Xing and Chu Yuan standing at the edge. Chu Yuan was looking into the distance, while Shou Xing was looking down.

"Look at the moon, look down below," Shouxing said.

Hearing Shouxing's voice, Chu Yuan snapped out of his daze, listened to Shouxing's words, and looked down.

Besides the floating island where Jing Chen and his two companions were located, there were other floating islands below, each at a different altitude and offering different views.
