Seeing this, Zero involuntarily took two steps back, her legs went weak, and she collapsed to the ground. Suddenly, a hand landed on Zero's shoulder, startling her. Turning her head, she saw it was an adult.

"What are you doing? Go back to the incubation center right now," the adult said.

"This has nothing to do with you, come here!" The adult interrupted Zero and forcibly dragged him away.

"But...but..." Zero had no choice but to let the adults pull him away. Before leaving, Zero looked back at the laboratory...

Zero yelled for the children in the room to get away from the window, then grabbed the rope, swung it around once, and threw it directly at the window. The glass shattered, the light bulb fell to the ground, and the wind and snow that had been kept out of the window, now that the glass was gone, seeped into the room. Inside, a small figure in a black robe huddled, wary of Zero outside.

"Come to me quickly, I'll take you away from here," Zero said.

The child watched Zero warily, growling softly as if to warn her not to come near. But then, she suddenly froze. She saw… Zero was crying. As if out of some kind of trust, the child slowly walked towards Zero, gently reaching out to grasp Zero's outstretched hand.

At that moment, this little child with short, silver-white hair and an appearance that defies description was the only light in her eyes.

The child slowly opened his eyes and walked through the snow-covered landscape, gazing at the vast expanse of white. Suddenly, the child tripped and fell. It turned out that when they had brought the child out, the tree branch had broken under the weight. Thanks to Zero's protection, the child was unharmed. Zero, however, had fainted.

Hearing some noises, Zero looked ahead and saw the child crouching not far away, seemingly holding something in her hand. The child noticed Zero was awake and turned to look at her. Only when the child turned around did Zero see that she had a mouse in her mouth!

"What are you eating?" Zero asked.

The child didn't answer; he opened and closed his mouth, taking the mouse's entire body into his mouth, leaving only its tail dangling outside.

Zero quickly got up and walked towards the child, saying, "No, don't swallow it, spit it out quickly." As she spoke, she stretched out a hand, trying to grab the rat out of the child's mouth.

But the child thought Zero was trying to grab her and bit Zero's hand. The intense pain made Zero's expression change instantly, but Zero still endured the pain and gently stroked the child's pink hair.

Zero's touch seemed to remind the child of something; his eyes softened, no longer as fierce as before, and he released Zero's hand. Releasing Zero's hand, the child looked at Zero with a hint of apology. Zero smiled. "It's alright."

Walking with the child through the snowy landscape, Zero said, "My name is Zero, my code name is Zero. What's your code name?"

The child was only babbling, from which Zero could tell that the child couldn't speak or understand. Realizing this, Zero lowered her head in dejection, "Knows nothing..."
