Hogwarts: Nagini captured at the start

Chapter 20 Hermione's Counterattack

Chapter 20 Hermione's Counterattack

"I...I know, Professor. I know what he wants to do!"

Hermione raised her arms high, stood on tiptoe, and tilted her chin up, gesturing for the professor to look in her direction.

Sprout glanced at her, not explicitly asking for an answer, but Hermione mistakenly assumed the professor agreed and blurted out, "He wants to eat raw white scallops!"

"Robin, are you hurt anywhere?"

Ron asked in a low voice.

Robin glanced at the girl standing opposite him, pouting, raising her eyebrows, and looking quite arrogant. He shook his head with amusement. "She's talking nonsense, and you believe her?"

"Oh yeah, how can you believe what someone with a short temper says?"

Oh dear, in just two days, Hermione has already been labeled as having a "bad temper" by Ron!

"Miss Hermione Granger, thank you for your answer! However, next time, remember to answer questions only after you hear my instructions. Robin, what were you about to do with the white fish in the bowl?"

Sprout's last sentence clearly showed that she didn't believe Hermione's words. Tsk, another slap in the face.

Sure enough, Little Chili's expression instantly changed from smug and arrogant to blushing with shame and indignation!

After Luo Bin returned the greeting with a mischievous smile and raised an eyebrow, the other person's face turned even redder, not from embarrassment, but from anger!

"Professor, when I was traveling with my parents, I saw a plant that looked very similar to Dictamnus dasycarpus in a yellow rock canyon. I was just observing what the differences were between the two!"

Sprout nodded knowingly. "I understand. What you saw before was probably rock love grass. Its appearance, smell, and medicinal effects are similar to white dictamnus, but there are still some differences between the two."

"For example, *Rhizophora stylosa* only grows on canyon cliffs, while *Dictamnus dasycarpus* prefers nutrient-rich red soil. When you break a leaf, the sap that flows from *Rhizophora stylosa* is milky white, while the sap that flows from *Dictamnus dasycarpus* is translucent."

Sprout used the story of "rock love grass" to introduce a lot of extracurricular knowledge. Just as everyone was listening with great interest, she suddenly issued a practical instruction - in pairs, inject nutrient solution into the pot and remove the red spiders on the white peony.

Ron had barely turned around and hadn't even invited Robin to team up when Professor Sprout called out names to form a team.

Unsurprisingly, Robin and Hermione are paired together!

Luo Bin guessed that the professor specifically asked for a team because he realized that Little Chili was hostile towards him, and he wanted to help his classmate resolve the conflict.

But Hermione clearly didn't want to make peace; instead, she seized the opportunity to retaliate!

Noisy!Noisy!Noisy!

The dark brown, pungent nutrient solution splattered all over Robin's robe. The culprit blinked his big eyes, feigning innocence, and said sincerely, "Sorry, it was my fault. I should have gripped the tube tighter!"

Insert the empty tubing into the beaker that still contains half a nutrient solution, squeeze-release-squeeze-release, spraying the opponent with nutrient solution!

But this method is too low-level.

Robin's lips curled into a slight smile, his eyes gentle, as if he genuinely believed Hermione's lies. "It's alright, a quick clean-up will do. The nutrient solution is made from various potions, it's perfectly clean. If I were to get covered in nutrient soil fermented from dragon dung, goat dung, chicken dung, and other animal excrement, I'd have to ask Professor McGonagall for permission to make a trip to Hogsmeade!"

Hermione turned to look at the red soil in the flowerpot, her brown eyes filled with regret, but the 'mistake' method could not be used a second time!

"You think you can drive away spider spiders just by glaring at them?"

Luo Bin joked as he poured nutrient solution into the flowerpot using a rubber tube.

"you"

Hermione was furious, her eyes blazing and her teeth itching, but she couldn't do anything to the other side for the time being. She picked up the tweezers and, in a fit of rage, pinched and killed one red spider after another.

Since there were two classes in the morning, and the next spells class would also be held in the castle, Professor Sprout gave a brief summary after the practical session and then told the freshmen to pack up and leave early.

"Rorobin, what are you still doing here?"

Sprout asked after putting down a bag of nutrient soil.

"Professor, I got nutrient solution splashed on my clothes. I wanted to ask if you have a detergent specifically designed to counteract it!"

Sprout then noticed that there were many dark brown stains on the other person's black robe.

"Detergent? No need for that. Oh, child, you must have forgotten that Hogwarts is a magic school."

She pulled her wand from her hat, flicked her wrist, drew an inverted 'S' in the air, and clearly pronounced the spell: Cleanse!

Several invisible streams of air surged across Robin's robe, sweeping away the stains before drifting into the trash can in the corner.

Luo Bin carefully examined the robe, making sure there were no stains, and said gratefully, "Thank you!"

"No need to thank me for waving the wand! Hurry back to the castle, Professor Flitwick, he's not as easy to talk to as I am!"

Professor Felix Flitwick is the headmaster of Ravenclaw House. He is short in stature, supposedly because he has half-elf blood.

He is sensitive and meticulous, enjoys decorating the Great Hall, likes to drink at the Hog's Head, and is also a hidden great wizard. Rumor has it that within Hogwarts, his strength is second only to Albus Dumbledore.

Robin believed that Flitwick was highly skilled in magic, had solid theoretical knowledge, and was a top-notch duelist, but he refused to believe a word of the claim that Flitwick was strict and would punish students for being late.

"Professor, I...I want to ask you for something!" Robin said, looking towards the corner of the wall.

Sprout followed the other person's gaze to the corner of the wall, where a pile of withered herbs lay.

"Robin, those herbs didn't mature when they withered, so their medicinal properties and toxicity are difficult to measure. They can't be used as raw materials for various potions!"

"Professor, I know. I haven't had a single potions class yet. I have no intention of mixing potions on my own. I just want to make use of waste materials and study the reasons why various herbs wither and die, as well as their state after drying."

The boy's obsidian-like eyes were filled with sincerity, and Sprout felt her heart almost melt under his gaze. After a sigh, she said, "Alright, you can take them. They're of no use to me, but they might help you learn about herbs."

"However, you must promise me one thing: you must never use these withered herbs whose medicinal properties and toxicity have not been measured to prepare the medicine."

"I promise you, Professor!"

"Go ahead. From now on, if you want any withered herbs, you don't need to ask me. Just come to the first greenhouse to get them!"

"Yes, Professor!"

After obtaining Professor Sprout's permission, Robin walked to the corner and used his mind to activate the giant Rubik's Cube's magic scanning function!

moment!

There were about a dozen herbs in the pile of withered herbs, each marked with a magic value ranging from 1 to 100. The rest were probably too low to be displayed.

The magic scan function only lasts for 10 seconds, but for the current situation, 10 seconds is enough!
