Pirates: Martial Arts Masters on the Straw Hat Ship
Chapter 101 Second Development? Nami's Horror
Deep in the jungle, two enormous figures blocked out the sunlight.
"Hehehehe! You little guys, are you leaving already?" Aoki Tori's hearty laughter shook the leaves to fall.
"Hey, you guys seem to have had quite a haul!"
Red Demon Broggi, carrying the massive, chipped axe, looked at Ronan and his companions with admiration in his eyes.
As giant warriors who have lived for over a hundred years, they most admire warriors with immense physical strength.
At this moment, the aura emanating from Luffy and his companions was so intense that it resembled four small, moving volcanoes.
"Hehe! We're leaving, Giant Uncle!"
Luffy tilted his head back. Although he had grown larger, his signature wide grin remained unchanged.
Ronan nodded slightly and clasped his hands in a martial arts salute: "Farewell, seniors."
"Go forth, brave warriors!"
Dongli waved his hand, creating a gust of wind. "This sea belongs to you! If we meet again, we must have a good drink!"
Amidst the giants' hearty laughter, Ronan and his group dragged several enormous pieces of dinosaur meat, enough to feed an ordinary person for a year.
With firm steps, they walked towards the Merry on the shore.
……
The Merry lay quietly at anchor, its ram's head swaying gently in the sea breeze.
On the deck, Nami and Usopp were leaning on the railing, looking on with longing.
The roaring sounds and firelight coming from deep within the island last night kept them on tenterhooks all night, fearing that something terrible had happened to their companions.
"Feed—!! Nami! Usopp—!!"
Luffy's booming voice came from the edge of the jungle, making Nami's eardrums buzz.
"Ah! It's Luffy!" Usopp jumped up excitedly, grabbed his binoculars, and exclaimed, "Great! They're back alive... wait?!"
Before Usopp could finish speaking, he suddenly froze.
He rubbed his eyes, then pressed them tightly against the binoculars, his chin slowly drooping to the ground.
"What's wrong, Usopp?" Nami looked over in confusion, and then she let out a scream that could scare away even a sea king.
"Aaaaaaah!!!"
Four figures emerged from the shadows of the woods and approached the Merry.
"Thump!"
The four of them leaped lightly onto the deck.
Despite their very light movements, their sudden increase in weight caused the Going Merry to lurch downwards.
"You, you all..."
Nami took two steps back, leaning against the mast, her finger trembling as she pointed at the four of them, her voice slurring:
"Who are you?! Why are your clothes so tattered and your bodies so different after just one night out?!"
"What is this? Is it secondary development? Or did it mutate on the island?!"
"What an astonishing change!"
Usopp rushed up to Zoro, gesturing to show his own height, and discovered that he only reached Zoro's chest. He was instantly consumed by jealousy.
"It's only been one night! Why didn't you let me grow taller?! I want to be a muscular man too! This isn't fair!"
"Hahahahaha!"
Luffy laughed and patted his belly, making a muffled "thump, thump" sound, like the sound of metal striking stone.
"Nami! Usopp! We went through a hellish, life-or-death training to get this body! I feel incredibly strong right now!"
"Ah... I really almost died."
Sanji leaned against the railing; although his appearance had become more imposing, the gesture of lighting a cigarette remained elegant.
"I never want to experience that feeling of being cooked again in my life."
"Hmph." Zoro chuckled arrogantly, arms crossed, biceps bulging high.
"Merely fatal training is nothing to mention. Only a body of this strength is worthy of the ambition of the world's greatest swordsman."
Nami looked at this group of "Versailles" guys, and although she complained, a huge weight was finally lifted from her heart.
In this Grand Line teeming with monsters, the stronger your companions, the greater your chances of survival.
Just then, Ronan's gaze swept across the corner of the deck.
There sat a little girl dressed in a strange graffiti outfit and wearing a hat, sitting cross-legged on the ground, calmly drinking tea and eating rice crackers.
"Who is she?" Luffy asked first.
"Ah! Miss Golden Week!" Vivi recognized Mr. 3's partner at a glance.
"Hmph!"
Usopp immediately puffed out his chest and proudly pointed to himself with his thumb:
"You're asking her? That brat was sneaking around trying to ambush me while I was on guard yesterday, but the brave, resourceful, and courageous Captain Usopp used a little trick and captured her on the spot!"
Actually, Miss Goldenweek just thought fighting was too much trouble, so she sat there having a picnic, and Usopp just happened to find her.
"And we also seized this!"
Nami pulled a glass ball from her bosom and held it up in the sunlight like a precious treasure.
The pointer inside the glass ball didn't swing around randomly; instead, it pointed firmly in one direction.
"This was found on her—a permanent pointer pointing to Alabasta!"
Nami's voice was filled with surprise, "With this, we don't have to wait for the record on this island anymore! We can head straight to Alabasta!"
"A permanent pointer?!"
Vivi was so excited that tears were about to stream down her face. "That's wonderful...that's really wonderful! This way we can get back to Alabasta as quickly as possible!"
"A single second's delay could mean the sacrifice of countless citizens! Nami, thank you so much!"
"You're welcome, it's all for my billion Berries."
Nami winked playfully, then looked at Luffy:
"Luffy, what should we do with this girl? Besides, she's a high-ranking agent of Baroque Works. Although she doesn't seem like a threat, it's still not safe for her to stay on the ship."
All eyes were on Luffy.
Luffy crouched down, looked at the little girl who was still calmly eating senbei, and tilted his head: "Do you want to come with us?"
Miss Golden Week shook her head, her tone as indifferent as if she were talking about someone else: "I don't want to, it's too tiring."
"Oh, then never mind."
Luffy stood up, picked his nose, and made a decision, "Let's leave her on this island. Anyway, there are dinosaurs and giants here, it should be quite fun."
"I think so too." Miss Golden Week nodded, seemingly unconcerned about being abandoned on an ancient island teeming with wild beasts.
The group didn't have much intention of killing this Buddhist-like spy.
