Pirates: Martial Arts Masters on the Straw Hat Ship
Chapter 86 Princess Vivi's Identity Exposed
"Hehehe... Even though it's the middle of the night, this place is really lively."
A frivolous yet chilling female voice suddenly rang out.
Immediately afterwards, a lazy male voice responded:
"This is so boring. They actually sent high-ranking agents like us to the front lines to handle such trivial matters. The boss is making a mountain out of a molehill."
Two figures appeared out of thin air and stood on a towering rock at the edge of the square.
The man was tall and thin, wearing a long trench coat rarely seen in this era, with an afro, and sunglasses, exuding an arrogant "I am a rock star" aura.
The woman was wearing a lemon-yellow dress, carrying a parasol, and wearing an exaggerated wide-brimmed hat, with a sweet yet cruel smile on her face.
Icarus's pupils dilated sharply, his voice trembling: "Mr. 5...Miss. Valentine's Day!!"
These two were a high-ranking intelligence duo within the Baroque Works.
Mr. 5 surveyed the battlefield from his elevated position, looking down at the mess left by the low-level bounty hunters.
Finally, his gaze fell on the disheveled Icarus, and he picked his nose dismissively:
"How pathetic, Icarum. As the commander stationed here, you've been defeated by a few greenhorn pirate brats. You've completely disgraced the company."
"You..." Icarum struggled to sit up, but the movement aggravated his wounds, causing him to gasp in pain. "Are you here to mock us?"
"Laugh at us? Heh heh heh, we don't have time for that."
Miss. On Valentine's Day, she twirled the parasol in her hand and lightly jumped off the rock.
Strangely, her body seemed weightless, landing lightly on the ground like a feather. "Of course, I came for the mission!"
"Task?"
Under the solemn gazes of Icarus and the newly awakened Vivi, Mr. 5 slowly flicked his fingers—the booger he had just picked out of his nose.
"That's what the boss said—'My secret has been discovered.'"
Mr. 5 shrugged casually, "Of course, I don't know what that secret is, and I'm not interested in knowing."
Miss Valentine picked up the conversation, smiling and saying:
"So we started investigating which rat knew the boss's secret."
"The results are incredible! Through the Ominous Duo's intelligence network, we discovered that an important figure from a certain country has actually infiltrated our Baroque Works!"
From the ruins not far away, Mr. 9, who had been knocked away by Ronan's stick, crawled out covered in dust.
Hearing this, he thought they were talking about him, and hurriedly waved his hands to prove himself:
"Wait! Wait! Although I'm wearing a crown, I'm really not a king!"
"This is just my personal hobby! I'm not a prince, I'm innocent!"
"Idiot, who's talking about you!" Miss Valentine rolled her eyes, looking disgusted.
Mr. 5 coldly interrupted the farce, his gaze as venomous as he fixed it on Icarus and Vivi on the ground, his voice turning icy and chilling:
"The culprit is—Icarim, captain of the Alabasta Kingdom's guard! And…"
He paused, then shifted his gaze to the blue-haired girl.
"Princess Nefertari Vivi of the Kingdom of Alabasta!"
These words were like a thunderclap, exploding in the silent night sky.
"Princess?!"
Just then, Nami, who had rushed over after hearing the commotion, overheard these words.
She covered her mouth, her eyes now filled with terror:
"Murder a princess? Good heavens, this is huge news! Is this something we should be listening to? Will we be silenced?"
Ronan, Zoro, and Sanji stood side by side, blocking Nami's way.
"Hmph, who cares what kind of princess she is?" Zoro's hand rested on the hilt of his sword, his eyes sharp. "What difference does it make who she is as long as she's an enemy?"
"No, no, no!" The red hearts in Sanji's eyes reappeared, and his body twisted:
"So it really is Her Highness the Princess! I knew it; that noble air couldn't be hidden!"
Mr. 5 looked at the group of pirates who were about to die and were still chatting idly, a cruel glint flashing in his eyes behind his sunglasses.
"On orders from the boss of Baroque Works, eliminate the undercover agent."
He slowly raised his hand, pointing it at everyone present.
"Furthermore, since you pirates have also overheard a secret you shouldn't have..."
Mr. 5 glanced at Nami with disdain, a sinister smile creeping onto his lips:
"Everyone here today will die! Not a single one of them will leave this island alive!"
As he finished speaking, an invisible sense of oppression enveloped the entire room.
The night was as dark as ink, and the full moon hanging above Whiskey Mountain seemed to be tinged with a chill by the sudden arrival of this deadly threat.
The cactus rock was deathly silent, with only the occasional gusts of wind and sand lashing against the ruins, emitting a mournful wail.
Ronan stood in the shadows, his ebony staff lightly tapping the ground.
His gaze shifted between Mr. 5, Icarus, and Vivi, but his heart remained coldly indifferent.
To be honest, he didn't have a good impression of this so-called Alabasta princess.
In the original course of their destiny, the Straw Hat crew and Vivi forged a deep bond, a passionate story belonging to Luffy, the "chosen one."
But in this real world, what Ronan saw was just a down-on-her-luck princess who was willing to use innocent pirates for the sake of her country, and even had a morally manipulative attitude towards them.
Aside from the farce of trying to attack them with seductive dance moves, the two sides haven't established any deep bond.
And just now she tried to hunt them down with traps for a bounty, but now she wants to shift the blame elsewhere. Every choice Vivi makes carries a selfishness that she can't help.
"How ironic..." Ronan thought to himself.
He originally thought that he, a butterfly from another world, could stir up a storm by flapping his wings.
But looking at the plot unfolding as it continued along its predetermined path, he couldn't help but feel a sense of absurdity.
Mr. 5's bold statement, "I will kill everyone here," was like a pebble thrown into Ronan's calm heart.
"Um... excuse me."
Ronan sighed, took a step forward, and tried to resolve the issue in the calmest possible tone:
"Although I don't want to disturb your hobby of cleaning up your own house, we are just pirates passing by."
"Every wrong has its perpetrator, and every debt its debtor. There's no need to drag us into this, is there? Let's leave now, shall we?"
However, only deathly silence answered him.
Mr. 5 didn't even spare Ronan a glance.
He just stared intently at Icarus and Vivi, as if Ronan and his group were nothing more than ants on the roadside that could be stepped on at any moment.
It wasn't worth wasting even a second of his attention.
Ronan's brow twitched slightly, and his fingers tightened suddenly around the ebony stick.
"Looking down on me again..." Ronan's lips curled into a self-deprecating sneer, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes:
"It's infuriating to feel ignored like this."
However, at that time they were not famous, so it was understandable that they were looked down upon.
