Pirates: Martial Arts Masters on the Straw Hat Ship

Chapter 94 If you don't want to be the Pirate King, then go play!

"BOOM!!!"

Just as the group ventured deeper into the jungle, a deep rumble suddenly echoed from the depths of the earth.

Immediately afterwards, the massive volcano in the center of the island erupted violently.

Thick smoke billowed into the sky like a black dragon, obscuring the heavens.

Crimson lava flowed down the mountain ridge, like blood flowing from a torn earth.

But this terrifying natural phenomenon is merely a signal.

As the volcano roared, two even more terrifying sound waves exploded simultaneously from both ends of the island, soaring into the sky.

"Hahahaha!!"

"Jibabababa!!"

The sound was as loud as a bell, making the air buzz and even causing the distant Merry to shake violently in the waves.

"What's that sound?! Is it a monster?!" Vivi was so frightened that her face turned pale, and she clung tightly to Karu's neck.

Ronan's eyes narrowed as he sensed two powerful energies rapidly approaching.

With a light tap of his toes, he leaped up a towering ancient tree, tens of meters tall, like an arrow released from a bow: "Up there! Everyone, come up!"

Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji followed closely behind, leaping between the huge branches like nimble monkeys, and in the blink of an eye, they reached the top of the treetop.

My vision suddenly opened up.

On a vast expanse of bones in the center of the island, two figures, like two moving mountains, suddenly came into view.

On the left is a man wearing a red Viking helmet, with a long golden beard, holding a huge shield and a longsword, and wearing simple animal skins, exuding a wild and unrestrained aura;

The man on the right, wearing a blue horned helmet and wielding a giant axe, was equally imposing and breathtaking.

"That's... a giant?!"

Sanji nearly dropped the cigarette from his mouth, his pupils contracting sharply. "The giants from fairy tales... they actually exist?!"

"Wow, that's amazing!!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly, gripping the branch, his eyes wide. "It's really huge!"

Before everyone could recover from their shock, the two giants had already moved.

"Broch! Today marks the end of this century!"

"Come on, Dorry! Try my axe with your rusty sword!"

Without any fancy probing, the two charged forward simultaneously.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

With each step, the ground let out a mournful cry, and countless pebbles were shaken into the air.

The kinetic energy carried by the two mountains of flesh as they ran at high speed was incalculable, and the surrounding air was violently pushed out, forming a visible white wave of air.

"boom----!!"

The longsword and the giant axe collided violently in mid-air.

For a moment, time seemed to stand still.

Immediately afterwards, an extremely terrifying shockwave swept wildly in all directions from the point of impact.

Trees within a radius of 100 meters were uprooted or broken in half like weeds.

Sand and stones flew, and dust billowed.

The once dense jungle was instantly cleared out, creating a huge vacuum zone.

At this moment, the Straw Hat crew members, who were at the top of the tree canopy, felt a gust of wind rush towards them and were almost blown away.

"Is this... the power of the giants?"

Zoro gripped the tree trunk tightly, his eyes filled with shock and fervor. "A mere clash of forces can produce such an effect... This is truly monstrous."

In the center of the battlefield, the battle between the two giants continued.

There were no fancy moves, only the most primitive and purest form of physical combat.

The dull thud of shields slamming into flesh, the sparks from giant axes striking rocks, and the ear-shattering roars of the two men created an ancient war song brimming with masculine hormones.

The earth trembled, and the sky wailed.

Each collision caused a small earthquake on the island called Little Garden.

Ronan stood on a treetop, hands behind his back, his clothes fluttering in the strong wind.

His gaze was calm as water as he looked at the two world-destroying figures, but he shook his head slightly.

"The power is indeed astonishing."

Ronan commented casually, "That's an absolute advantage brought about by racial talent; their enormous size gives them unparalleled muscle mass and bone density."

"In a simple contest of destructive power, we are indeed inferior to them now."

At this point, Ronan changed the subject:

"However, it's too slow. And it lacks any skill; it only uses brute force."

"Their weapon-wielding trajectories were wide and unpredictable, full of openings."

"Hey, Ronan."

Luffy turned his head, puffing out his cheeks in dissatisfaction:

"We finally encountered such a cool giant, why are you spoiling the fun! Isn't this head-to-head, manly duel the coolest thing ever?"

"He's handsome, but when it comes to life-or-death battles, good looks can't put food on the table," Ronan said noncommittally.

With a final, earth-shattering collision, both giants, exhausted, laughed and retreated, promising to fight again next time.

The two moving mountains slowly turned around and headed towards opposite ends of the island, and the tremors on the ground gradually subsided.

"Okay! It's decided!"

Luffy adjusted his straw hat, his eyes gleaming, and crouched slightly, assuming a starting stance:

"I'm going to find that guy with the helmet!"

"Luffy, wait a minute."

A hand firmly grabbed Luffy by the back of his collar and pulled him back.

"What are you doing, Ronan!" Luffy waved his arms and legs in the air, pouting in dissatisfaction. "I'm going on an adventure! I'm going to find giants!"

Ronan put Luffy back on the tree trunk, his expression becoming unusually serious.

He glanced at Zoro and Sanji, who were also preparing to join in the fun, and said in a deep voice, "We have our own things to do."

"My own business?" Luffy tilted his head, looking blank. "Eat? Or sleep?"

"Cultivation."

Ronan pointed to the pristine land beneath his feet, his tone tinged with mystery:

"Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, haven't you noticed? This island not only has enormous trees, but its insects and beasts far surpass those of the outside world."

"What does this mean? It means that the 'earth energy' here—that is, natural energy—is extremely concentrated."

"This island is a living fossil left over from ancient times."

Ronan took a deep breath, his eyes burning. "The island must be home to rare and exotic plants that have long been extinct outside, as well as ancient beasts."

"If you're not interested in the title of 'Pirate King' and think your current strength is enough to sweep across the Great Line, then go play house with the giants."

Luffy immediately stopped struggling.

That word struck a nerve.

"What does this have to do with One Piece?" Luffy's playful expression vanished, and his eyes turned serious.

Even Zoro and Sanji stopped in their tracks, their eyes fixed on Ronan.

They knew that although Ronan was usually a man of few words, whenever he was this serious, it meant something important was about to happen.
