Chapter 629 Stop Fighting!

Chapter 629 Stop Fighting!

Thoth sensed the spread of the poison. Although its power was weakened by the wall of fire, its danger was still immense.

Whether it's land or sea, the surface of everything exposed to this rain seems to boil. Unprotected organisms dissolve upon contact, and buildings decay rapidly. From the vast, dead forests of the North to the ports and churches of Istani destroyed by the toxic rain, and across the vast ocean, the pollution spreads throughout the world via ocean currents.

While Thoth was distracted, Endurance's long tongue pierced through the wall of fire, clinging to Him to draw God's blood. In return, Rorschach swung his crowbar from the other side of the wall of fire in an arc, striking Endurance's chin, forcing Him to shut up, and severing His tongue with His own teeth.

After the wall of fire disappeared, the gods went almost mad.

Rorschach didn't care about anything else; he felt extremely drained. Omniscient Sight didn't mean he could analyze everything at will. He did receive a massive amount of information, but this overwhelming amount interfered with his judgment, like seawater eroding rocks, constantly impacting his will.

In particular, the Mother of Inaccessibility, or rather, the Earth Mother herself, is a massive and endless source of anomalous information, which is pollution to him that is unanalyzable and best left unperceived. His countermeasure is to lay down an order from his past life to suppress the opponent; the "Holy Sword of Physics" is an extreme embodiment of this.

The "physical attack" of the god-level crowbar is indeed effective. It can effectively suppress the spread of abnormal information and order of the other party. However, the result of the collision is to generate more errors. The collision of the two systems is like the coupling of two sets of discrete equations, causing a large number of unsolvable problems and warnings of computational collapse. It is also like two angle grinders attacking each other, spewing out a lot of sparks.

Both sides are "abnormal" to the existing world, and the "error" caused by the collision is more troublesome than the pollution of the Mother Goddess. It is scattered in the battlefield and its effect on spirits is equivalent to that of silica dust on alveoli.

Not only Rorschach and the Mother Goddess, but also Thoth. From initially being able to freely unleash various spells, he now discovered that many spells between the two sides were beginning to fail, with only the Evocation spells remaining at full power. Those failing spells weren't forbidden, but rather mutated, evolving towards unknown effects. Whether influenced by the Mother Goddess, Rorschach's doing, or a combination of both, the cautious Thoth no longer acted recklessly, lest the battle spiral out of control.

He didn't complain too much, after all, from the beginning his magic was almost exempt from Durga's influence, and for some reason, Thoth was unable to use his powers.

Difficulty Mother also found herself powerless against the combination of Rorschach and Thoth. Their close proximity challenged Her authority, causing Her to unleash a torrent of anger and power.

"The angrier He is, the stronger He becomes. But in a sense, that's a good thing," Thoth commented as he parried the attack.

Rorschach used the "Holy Sword" to shield himself, blocking the Mother Goddess's scimitar strike, then deflected it back, piercing the opponent's arm: "Why?"

"The angrier you are, the further you are from your true nature. On the contrary, calmness means clarity, it means that the Mother Goddess is fully awakened in this world, and that is the true end."

Is that even a saying? Rorschach didn't understand, but he did as he was told. Enraging the other side was simple: just keep hitting those faces with his crowbar. The berserk Inaccessible Mother was incredibly powerful, but Rorschach's holy sword was a special attack weapon; no other method could achieve the same effect.

Bang bang bang. Dodge, counterattack, bang bang bang.

"Is there any way to deal with Him? I feel like I can't hold out for much longer." Luo Xia felt that the other party's desire to attack was getting stronger and stronger, like a trapped beast, irritable and fierce, while he himself was getting more and more tired. [Omniscient Vision] was really a negative effect in the current situation.

"There will be; let me think about it."

That's when Luo Xia remembered that damned idol drama: "Stop fighting! You won't kill anyone like this~ I don't want to fight either, looks like it's going to continue for a while." He found another opportunity and diligently gave Nan Jin's mother a few whacks.

As the battle raged on, several archmages traced the source of the poisonous cloud, braving the dangers to reach the polar regions, where they witnessed a scene they would never forget:

By this time, the poisonous cloud had dissipated due to Rorschach's forced silence, and the three colossal statues appeared and disappeared amidst the aurora and mist. The fragile material reality was on the verge of collapse in the polar region, with large amounts of magic mixed with strange energies surging outwards like tides, and then sweeping back to the center of the battle.

The battle scene is even more difficult to understand because the process can no longer be transmitted by sound and light, nor can it be normally perceived and detected. Only the fragments of rules and "errors" that are spread out by the collision of the two sets of "abnormalities" flow into the symbolic world and the material world.

It's snowing again, but this "snow" looks more like the ashes left after the transmutation dust has been released.

"A war of gods! It's a war of gods!" the chief of the Tower of Source Water exclaimed.

Other onlookers wanted to complain: "Duh, do you even need to say that?" But they were speechless and just watched quietly from afar.

"No, that's not right." Feuerbach was the first to realize how dangerous the spread of this "mistake" was: "Get away from here, try to seal off the area."

"What can we do? We're not Rorschach, capable of affecting thousands of miles instantly. By the way, where did that kid go?"

"That's not important. Let's get away from the battle." Feuerbach turned his head away, resolutely refusing to look at the battlefield again.

The other mages were initially puzzled that the Tower Master of the Arcane Tower would voluntarily give up witnessing such an event, but they immediately realized that Feuerbach had discovered some danger, even if they were just observing. Therefore, most of the elders followed Feuerbach in retreat, only the chief of the Tower of Source Water kept his eyes fixed on the battlefield of the divine war.

The dark figure representing the yin aspect of the world fought like a frenzied dance, while the other two figures were clumsy dance partners. However, in his eyes, it was an excellent dance, full of sublime power.

Shadows danced, magic roared from the polar regions, and many illusions burst forth. Because the boundaries between the material and symbolic realms were broken, it was impossible to distinguish between reality and illusion. The dance created all things, though they were all abnormal, erroneous, and bizarre.

As the other two figures of light danced, the magic began to recede, the illusions shattered, and it seemed as if the entire world was about to be reduced to nothingness by their actions, leaving only the void of the highest heaven, with only the upside-down Tree of Truth shining brightly above their heads.

The world is born, operates, and is destroyed in this way.

"Hehe. Ee! Alright! I understand!" The chief of the Source Water Tower clapped and laughed excitedly like a child. He didn't know what he understood, only that his mind was filled with incredible knowledge, and he had seen through all the obscured truths. His eyes, which had been shining brightly as he watched the battle, soon became more than just his eyes.

Feuerbach noticed that one person was missing from the retreat. He turned around and saw the chief of the Water Tower explode in the ice field, part of it turning into mud and sinking to the ground, and part turning into stardust and rising into the sky.

Clearly, not everyone is as strong as Thoth, able to withstand the "misinformation" generated by the collision between Rorschach and the Inaccessible Mother.
