Boros hovered in mid-air, looking down at the half of his body that had been shattered by Lin Yao's punch.

Green life energy surged, and the shattered flesh and bones regenerated at a visible speed, but the wound healed much more slowly than before.

His breathing became heavy, and a complex light flickered in the single eye on his forehead.

"Interesting, very interesting," Boros murmured, then looked up at Lin Yao opposite him. "I haven't been injured in a long time. You remind me of the days when I fought in space."

He took a deep breath, and an even more intense layer of energy emanated from his body. The light was deep blue, like the color of the deep sea, and carried a suffocating pressure.

"Seal released."

Boros's voice was deep and authoritative, as if proclaiming some kind of ritual. The armor on his body began to shatter, scattering fragments everywhere. His body began to swell, his muscles bulging, veins popping, and he grew much taller. His hair turned white, rising upwards like burning flames. His single eye became even more crimson, as if it were about to drip blood.

A terrifying aura erupted from his body, sweeping outwards in all directions. Gravel on the ground was swirled up by this aura and floated in mid-air. The air became heavy and viscous, as if solidified. The distant ocean began to boil, and the clouds in the sky were torn apart, revealing the pitch-black universe.

Battle Form – Boros's True Form.

"That's more like it." Lin Yao looked at him, a smile appearing on his lips. His body also began to glow, the power of stars, the power of the earth, the power of the Qilin, the power of chaos—all the various powers within him erupted simultaneously, transforming into an even more terrifying aura, rivaling Boros's aura.

The two looked at each other, and then moved at the same time.

Their speed was so extreme that they left no afterimages. Only the deafening explosions in the air and the bursts of energy in the sky proved that they were engaged in fierce combat. Each collision triggered a violent explosion, the shockwaves dispersing all the clouds within a radius of tens of kilometers. Buildings on the ground were swept away by the aftershocks and collapsed like building blocks. Towering waves surged from the sea, sweeping towards the shore.

Boros's strength was indeed astonishing. After unsealing his energy, his speed and power increased to a whole new level, and every punch carried the force enough to destroy a mountain. His combat experience was incredibly rich, and his moves were ruthless and precise, with each attack aimed straight for vital points.

But Lin Yao is also growing rapidly.

The power within him was far too complex—the power of stars, the power of the earth, the power of the Qilin, the power of chaos… Each power required time to refine and fuse. And Boros was, in fact, the perfect whetstone. In his battle with Boros, Lin Yao constantly tried to integrate these powers, creating a more efficient way to utilize them.

At first, he could barely keep up with Boros's speed, needing to rely on his abundant internal energy to withstand the opponent's attacks. But as the battle progressed, his control over his own power became more and more proficient, and his reaction speed increased. He began to be able to predict Boros's attack routes and take evasive and counter-attack measures in advance.

Lin Yao's attacks grew increasingly fierce, faster, and more powerful. Boros began to struggle; his attacks were repeatedly deflected, and his defenses were breached time and again. More and more wounds began to appear on his body. Although they healed quickly, the healing speed clearly couldn't keep up with the rate at which he was injured.

"Impossible!" Boros roared, throwing both fists at Lin Yao's chest.

Lin Yao neither dodged nor evaded, but instead threw out both fists to meet the attack.

boom--

The four fists collided, unleashing a deafening roar. Boros's arm shattered inch by inch under Lin Yao's immense force, blue blood spurting out. His body flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground.

Boom—

The ground was blasted into a terrifying crater over a kilometer in diameter. The rocks at the bottom of the crater were melted by the intense heat, forming glassy crystals. Boros lay at the bottom of the crater, half of his body shattered, as green life energy slowly repaired his injuries.

He climbed out of the pit, panting heavily, and looked at the suspended figure in the sky.

"What kind of monster is this guy...?" Boros murmured. He had been fighting in the universe for hundreds of years, and had seen countless powerful races and individuals, but he had never encountered an opponent like Lin Yao. His power seemed inexhaustible, and he continued to grow stronger in battle.

No, the area must be cleared.

Boros took a deep breath, mobilizing all the energy within his body. His body began to glow, the blue energy growing brighter and more intense. He released that energy outward, transforming it into a circular shockwave that spread in all directions.

Wherever the shockwave passed, everything was destroyed. A layer of ground was scraped away, rocks were pulverized, and buildings were leveled. The shockwave spread towards the distant city, and if no one stopped it, the entire city would be razed to the ground.

Lin Yao frowned slightly as he watched the shockwave. He raised his hand, releasing his inner power to form a massive domain around his body. The domain displayed a dazzling array of colors, a fusion of stellar power, earth power, Qilin power, and chaotic power, radiating a vast and sacred aura.

The domain expanded outwards, blocking the shockwave. The shockwave struck the domain's boundaries, producing a piercing screeching sound, but it couldn't break through. The domain continued to expand, enveloping the city and heroes behind it, protecting them from the shockwave's damage.

Boros's pupils contracted sharply as he watched this scene.

"This guy... he actually managed to block my full-force attack?" He gritted his teeth, preparing to launch an even stronger attack, when he suddenly felt a tightness around his neck.

Lin Yao appeared in front of him without him noticing, and grabbed his neck with one hand.

"We can't fight here, let's find another place." Lin Yao said, and with a flash, he and Boros disappeared from the spot in an instant.

The next second, the two appeared in space.

Beneath his feet lay the azure Earth, above him the endless starry sky. Without the obstruction of the atmosphere, the sunlight became exceptionally dazzling. Boros broke free from Lin Yao's grasp, hovering in the vacuum, looking at the Earth beneath his feet, then at Lin Yao opposite him, a sinister smile creeping across his lips.

"Alright, let's fight to the death here."

He took a deep breath—though he couldn't breathe in the vacuum, his internal energy was enough to sustain him in space. A more intense layer of energy shone from his body, a deep purple light carrying an aura of destruction.

"Meteor eruption!"

Boros roared, his energy erupting like a volcano. His body was enveloped in a layer of purple energy flames, instantly increasing his speed to a terrifying level. He transformed into a streak of light in space, charging towards Lin Yao.

Lin Yao looked at him, took a deep breath, and the power within his body began to erupt.

"The Five Elements Forms of Starlight".

His body began to glow, five colors of light—gold, cyan, blue, red, and yellow—flowing across his surface, representing the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. These lights merged together, transforming into an even more powerful force that coalesced into a gigantic phantom behind him.

That was a Qilin.

A Qilin that blots out the sky.

Its body was formed from starlight and the power of the five elements, radiating a seven-colored glow. Its limbs were strong and powerful, its hooves treading on auspicious, multicolored clouds. Its head was held high, its eyes like two suns, radiating a majestic and sacred light. Its tail was like a galaxy, swaying gracefully in space.

The Dharma Body of the Qilin.

This Qilin's physical form was so enormous that it blocked out the sun's rays. People on Earth looked up and found that the sky had suddenly turned black—not the darkness of night, but as if it had been obscured by something.

"Why is it dark?" someone asked, bewildered.

"Look at the sky!" someone exclaimed, pointing to the sky.

People looked up and saw a huge phantom appear in the sky. The phantom was indistinct, as if it were formed from starlight, radiating a seven-colored light. Although they could not see its specific shape, its vast and sacred aura filled everyone with a sense of awe.

At the Hero Association headquarters, Tornado floated in mid-air, looking up at the phantom in the sky, a hint of shock flashing in his eyes.

"That's... A-Yao?" she murmured, her voice filled with disbelief. She knew Lin Yao was strong, but she had never imagined he was this strong. The power contained within that phantom even made her, the second-ranked S-class superhuman, feel a chill run down her spine.

Fubuki stood beside her, also looking up at the sky. Her hands were clenched so tightly that her nails dug into her palms, but she was oblivious to it. Her eyes shone with a complex light—shock, admiration, and a hint of longing.

"Yao-jun..." she whispered, her voice trembling slightly, "So you... are this strong."

Meanwhile, in a dilapidated apartment in Z City, Saitama was sitting in the living room eating potato chips and watching TV. The TV was broadcasting live the battle situation in A City, and the host was excitedly describing the strange phenomena appearing in the sky. Saitama glanced out the window, then continued watching TV.

"Oh, that's pretty impressive," he said casually, then popped another potato chip into his mouth.

Genos stood beside him, looking at the sky outside the window, his eyes shining with admiration: "Teacher Lin Yao's strength is indeed unfathomable."

In space, the battle reached its climax.

Boros's meteor burst state was indeed astonishing; his speed was so fast that even light couldn't keep up, and his attack power reached a terrifying level. Each of his attacks triggered a violent energy explosion in space, shattering surrounding asteroids into pieces.

But Lin Yao's Qilin Dharma Body is even more terrifying.

The enormous Qilin extended its claw and slammed it towards Boros. Boros tried to dodge, but found the claw to be incredibly fast; he had no time to react. With a deafening boom, he was sent flying by the Qilin's claw, crashing into several asteroids before finally coming to a stop.

"Damn it!" Boros roared, mobilizing all the energy within his body and concentrating it in front of his chest.

"Star-Shattering Roaring Cannon!"

A massive beam of energy shot out from his chest, hurtling towards the Qilin's avatar. Wherever the beam passed, space began to distort, and asteroids swept by the aftershocks were instantly reduced to dust.

The Qilin's avatar raised its front paw and slapped down at the beam of energy.

boom--

The energy beam collided with the Qilin's claw, unleashing a burst of light powerful enough to illuminate the entire solar system. The aftershocks of the energy spread outwards, blasting all the surrounding asteroids into fragments.

After the light faded, the Qilin's physical form remained standing unharmed in space. The Star-Shattering Roaring Cannon, however, had been completely annihilated.

As Boros watched this scene, a sense of fear arose in his heart for the first time.

He had traversed the universe for centuries and had never encountered such an opponent. His strongest attack was actually blocked by his opponent with such nonchalance? How could this be?

"What? Scared?" Lin Yao's voice rang in his ear, tinged with mockery. "Didn't you spend twenty years traversing the universe searching for a worthy opponent? Now that you've found one, are you scared?"

Boros's body trembled.

He looked up at Lin Yao, a hint of shame flashing in his eyes.

"You're right," he said softly. "I am indeed scared. But that doesn't mean I'll back down."

He took a deep breath, suppressed his fear, and rekindled his fighting spirit.

"Come on, let's settle this once and for all!"

He charged at Lin Yao again, his fists raining down like raindrops. Lin Yao, equally unyielding, met his attack head-on. The two engaged in a final, fierce battle in space, each punch landing squarely, blood and flesh flying everywhere. Boros's body was shattered time and again, only to regenerate each time. Wounds also began to appear on Lin Yao's body, but they quickly healed.

The two fought for an unknown amount of time, as if it had lasted for an eternity.

Finally, Boros was exhausted.

His body was badly damaged, and the green life energy was no longer enough to heal his injuries. He hovered in space, panting heavily, looking at Lin Yao opposite him.

"The last move," he said, his voice tinged with weariness, but mostly with relief.

He mobilized the last of his energy, concentrating it in front of his chest, transforming it into a Roaring Star Projectile. The beam of light was more solid and terrifying than before, carrying an aura of annihilation.

Lin Yao looked at him, took a deep breath, and gathered all the power of the five elements of light within his body.

"Stars, Light, Five Elements, The End".

A beam of multicolored light shot out from his palm, meeting Boros's Collapsing Star Roaring Bullet.

Two beams of light collided in space, unleashing a burst of light powerful enough to illuminate the entire universe.

As the light faded, Boros's Cataclysmic Roaring Bomb was completely destroyed. He hovered in space, his body beginning to disintegrate, turning into countless specks of light.

"I lost," he said, his voice carrying a hint of relief and satisfaction. "But I'm glad. To have met an opponent like you in the final moments of my life, I'm content."

Lin Yao looked at him, remained silent for a moment, and then said, "You are a qualified soldier."

He raised his hand, gathering Boros's dissipating body back together, and then brought him back to Earth. He found a scenic valley and buried Boros there. On the tombstone, he wrote only one line—"A worthy warrior."

After doing all this, Lin Yao teleported back to the Hero Association headquarters.

When he appeared in the hall, all the S-class heroes looked at him with a complex mix of emotions: awe, admiration, envy, and fear. They had just witnessed the earth-shattering battle in space through satellite footage. They finally realized that this twelfth-ranked S-class hero, who usually just slacked off, possessed strength far beyond their imagination.

The Hero Association's higher-ups immediately approached, beaming, and said, "Mr. Lin Yao, congratulations on defeating the alien invaders! We would like to invite you to serve as the face of the Hero Association's strongest S-class hero; the terms and conditions are excellent..."

"No thanks." Lin Yao waved his hand, interrupting him. "I'll just stay as the twelfth-ranked S-class student. Clocking in and slacking off at work is fine."

The higher-ups were taken aback for a moment, and wanted to say something more, but seeing Lin Yao's unquestionable expression, they could only shut their mouths awkwardly.

Lin Yao ignored them and turned to walk out of the hall.

Two figures were waiting for him outside the hall.

Tornado and Blizzard.

Tornado leaned against the wall, arms crossed, looking at him with a complex expression. Her eyes held admiration, resentment, and a hint of something else entirely. Fubuki stood beside her, hands clasped in front of her, head bowed, cheeks slightly flushed.

"You're back?" Tornado spoke first, her tone tinged with a hint of sourness. "You've got guts, haven't you? You took care of the aliens all by yourself."

"It's alright," Lin Yao smiled. "I was lucky."

"Good luck?" Tornado rolled her eyes. "You call that level of battle 'good luck'? Forget it, I'm not going to argue with you. Let's go have dinner together."

"Dinner?" Lin Yao was taken aback.

"What? You're not happy?" Tornado raised an eyebrow. "Fubuki and I have been waiting for you here for ages. You're not going to stand us up, are you?"

Lin Yao glanced at Tornado, then at Fubuki, and noticed that Fubuki was secretly looking at him with expectant eyes. He smiled and nodded, "Okay, let's go eat together."

Meanwhile, in Lin Yao's villa, Saitama and Genos were sitting in the living room with a game console in front of them.

"Teacher, do you think Teacher Lin Yao will come back?" Genos asked.

"Yes, he will." Saitama nodded firmly. "He promised me we'd beat this game together tonight. He won't break his promise."

"But... it seems that Miss Tornado and Miss Fubuki invited him to dinner," Genos said with some concern.

"So what?" Saitama said dismissively. "Lin Yao isn't the kind of person who'll be swayed by beauty. He'll definitely come back to play games with his brothers."

Genos looked at Saitama's confident expression and didn't know what to say.
