Konoha Village, the next day.

Tsunade sat in the Hokage's office, a report recently submitted by the Anbu spread out on the desk in front of her. After reading it, her expression remained solemn for a long while before she slowly placed the report on the desk and looked at Jiraiya sitting opposite her.

"The matter concerning Root has been thoroughly investigated." Tsunade's voice was calm, but carried an unusual chill. "What Danzo did was far darker than I imagined."

Jiraiya leaned back on the sofa, unusually quiet. He knew what Tsunade meant by what she had said. Root, this organization hidden in the shadows of Konoha, had done far too many unseen things under Danzo's leadership over the years. Those erased records, sealed files, and secretly disposed of "destabilizing factors" were all like layers of rotting scabs; peeling them back revealed a shocking truth.

"His actions may have had good intentions," Jiraiya finally spoke, "but those methods... crossed the line."

"I know." Tsunade leaned back in her chair, her voice heavy with weariness. "Danzo always thought he was the one who cared most about Konoha, and that everything he did was for Konoha's stability and strength. But he forgot that the reason so many people entrust their ideals to Konoha isn't because of those dark methods, but because it represents a will that has never changed since the First Hokage. If you can't even trust the people in your own village, and you have to rely on assassination and surveillance to maintain order, then this village will fall apart sooner or later."

Jiraiya remained silent for a moment, then slowly nodded: "What do you plan to do?"

"Make it public." Tsunade's gaze was firm and clear. "Reveal all the truth. The existence of Root will no longer be hidden, and I will publicly review some of the decisions made during the Third Hokage's tenure. Konoha needs a thorough purge before it can truly begin a new era."

Jiraiya gave a complicated look: "This will make a lot of people lose face."

"Those who should step down should step down," Tsunade replied decisively. "What we need is transparency and trust, not a bunch of old foxes scheming against each other in the shadows."

She stood up, walked to the window, and looked down at the young ninjas sweating it out on the training field: "I'm consolidating Konoha's power not to seize power, nor to target anyone. I want to get this village back on the right track. To allow those young people to grow into true ninjas in a clean environment."

Jiraiya paused for a moment, then gave a pleased smile: "You've changed a lot, Tsunade."

"People always change." Tsunade turned to look at him, a slight smile playing on her lips. "I used to always think about running away, feeling that Konoha was not a place I could wade into. But now that I'm sitting in this chair, there are some responsibilities I can't shirk. I will lead the village well and let everyone see the true face of Konoha."

"I believe you." Jiraiya nodded.

"There are a few more things to take care of." Tsunade picked up another file on the table. "It's about Sasuke."

"Sasuke?"

"Itachi is dead." Tsunade's voice was heavy. "Last night, in the ruins of the clan's garrison. Sasuke ended his life with his own hands. According to the intelligence from the Anbu, Itachi told Sasuke everything before he died. He learned the truth about Itachi, the history of the Uchiha clan, and the role that Danzo and others played in it."

Jiraiya's expression became complicated: "That Sasuke..."

"He didn't do anything," Tsunade said. "After he returned to the village, he spent the night at the memorial stone, and then came straight to me. He said he wanted to stay in Konoha because he wanted to change this twisted world."

Jiraiya remained silent for a long while, then said in a low voice, "This child... has grown up."

"Yes," Tsunade replied softly. "He also specifically explained Itachi's mission back then, clearing his name. From today onwards, Uchiha Sasuke is officially promoted to Jonin." She paused, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Also, I've given Orochimaru, that madman, a new identity."

"Oh?"

"Revoke his status as a rogue ninja and change it to 'dangerous rank ninja'." Tsunade said expressionlessly. "This way, he won't be hunted down throughout the ninja world because of his rogue ninja status, and he'll also be confined to Konoha's surveillance range. He still has some use to Sasuke, and under our surveillance, he can't cause any trouble."

Jiraiya smiled wryly: "You even included Orochimaru in your calculations."

"He came to us of his own accord." Tsunade rarely showed a sly smile. "He said he was very interested in 'another world.' When he heard that we were planning to send people there for further studies, he volunteered to go with us."

Jiraiya's expression immediately became somewhat subtle: "Send Orochimaru to another world? Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." Tsunade shrugged. "With you here, with Kakashi here, and with my backup plan—he can't pull any tricks. And honestly, with Orochimaru's talent and knowledge, after coming into contact with the knowledge of another world, he might actually bring us some unexpected gains."

Jiraiya pondered for a long time, then finally sighed, "Fine, since you've made up your mind, I have nothing more to say. We're leaving in three days, right?"

"Three days later." Tsunade nodded. "Naruto, Hinata, Ino," she counted on her fingers, "plus Sasuke... Although he said he wanted to travel on his own for a while, I arranged for Kakashi to secretly follow him, and we'll meet up there then."

"Sasuke is going too?"

"He needs to get out and see the world," Tsunade said. "The trauma this world inflicted on him needs time to heal, and the scenery of another world might offer him a new perspective. Besides..." She glanced at Jiraiya, a meaningful smile playing on her lips, "Aren't you curious about what Jiraiya looks like in another world?"

Jiraiya paused for a moment, then burst into laughter: "Now that you mention it, I'm actually starting to look forward to it."

Three days later, in front of the spatial passage behind Konoha Village.

Jiraiya, Kakashi, Naruto, Hinata, Ino, and a man in a gray robe with a pale face but a spirited expression—Orochimaru—stood at the entrance, with Tsunade who had come to see them off and the Anbu members who had been urgently summoned.

Naruto, carrying his backpack, gazed excitedly at the blue-glowing spatial portal: "Yay! An adventure in another world! This is something you only see in books!"

Hinata covered her mouth and chuckled, while Ino crossed her arms and muttered as she looked at the portal, "I wonder how many handsome guys are over there..."

Kakashi, as always, was holding his copy of "Icha Icha Paradise" and, without even looking up, retorted, "Ino, we're going there to study, not to go on a blind date."

"What's the big deal? It's not illegal to experience a different culture."

Jiraiya looked at Tsunade seriously and said, "I'm leaving the village to you."

"Don't worry." Tsunade nodded. "With me here, Konoha will be fine." Her gaze swept over everyone, finally landing on the gray-robed man. "Orochimaru, don't you dare cause any trouble over there."

Orochimaru licked his lips, revealing his signature smile: "Tsunade, I'm going there for an exchange program, you're making me sad."

"If you can be sad, the sun will rise in the west." Tsunade snorted, ignoring him, and waved her hand. "Let's go, everyone be careful. Although we have a general understanding of the situation over there, it's still an unfamiliar world, so be cautious in everything you do."

Jiraiya nodded to Tsunade one last time, then turned and headed first towards the spatial portal. Naruto cheered and followed closely behind. Hinata and Ino followed, chatting and laughing, while Kakashi put away his book and walked at the very back with unhurried steps. Orochimaru glanced back at Tsunade before stepping into the portal, his gaze filled with a hint of amusement and a deeper meaning, then he smiled slightly and disappeared into the blue light barrier.

The spatial passage was filled with dazzling light, and the journey didn't last long. When everyone opened their eyes, they found themselves in a scene completely different from Konoha Village, yet somewhat similar. They stood on a small hill in this unfamiliar world, with a bustling town in the distance, countless houses standing side by side, their architectural style vaguely recognizable as similar to Konoha's.

"This is..." Naruto's mouth dropped open. "Another Konoha?"

"To be precise, it's Konoha from another world." Jiraiya looked around and said in a deep voice, "Uchiha You said that his world experienced a split between black and white, with the black faction being exiled and hated. Everything here has grown back after experiencing that kind of tearing."

"The division between black and white..." Hinata repeated the phrase softly, a complex emotion in her eyes. "That must have been a very heavy period of history."

"It's heavy, but not necessarily without end." Kakashi closed his book, gazing at the distant town. "Didn't we come here to see how they navigated that period of history?"

Meanwhile, in the Land of Clouds, in the Hidden Cloud Village.

The massive door to the Raikage's office was suddenly pushed open from the outside, and the Fourth Raikage, A, charged in like a raging bull, slamming his fist on the desk with a loud bang.

"What did you say?! Killer Bee was attacked?!"

"Yes...yes, Raikage-sama." The Chunin delivering the message shrank back, his voice trembling. "According to intelligence from the Cloud and Thunder Gorge, Kisame Hoshigaki and Deidara launched a joint attack on the training grounds there. Lord Raikage was caught off guard, and the Eight-Tails was briefly captured..."

"Captured?!" A's eyes widened, veins bulging on his forehead. "How could the Eight-Tails be captured? How could that bastard Killer Bee have been caught by those few people?!"

"That's right..." The Chunin swallowed hard. "But later, Master Bee used a Tail-Severing Clone Technique to deceive the attacker's senses and successfully escaped. However... however, by the time we arrived at Cloud Thunder Gorge, the attacker had already retreated with the severed tail."

Ai stood there, his chest heaving violently, before finally suppressing the rage that threatened to burst forth: "Tail-severing clone... Killer Bee is still so cunning. Where is he?"

"The adults have been safely transferred and are currently at..."

"Alright, go find someone to keep an eye on him," Ai interrupted. "If I find out which bastards dared to touch my brother, I'll tear them apart with my own hands! By the way, where's that guy who calls himself 'Uchiha Yao'? Didn't he promise to help Kumogakure fight off the enemy? Where is he?!"

"According to reports..." the Chunin's voice became more hesitant, "Uchiha Yao seems to have left Kumogakure with a young Uchiha clansman who was with him. It seems they headed northeast..."

Ai's eyes suddenly narrowed: "Northeast?"

To the northeast of Kumogakure lies a long mountain range, beyond which lies the border region between the Land of Clouds and the Land of Lightning.

The air in Raikage's office suddenly became heavy.

Meanwhile, in a secluded outpost on the outskirts of Kumogakure, two figures sat quietly. Uchiha Yao, dressed in a long black robe, wore a faint smile, his index finger lightly tapping the table as if waiting for something. Opposite him sat a cold-faced, black-haired youth, none other than Sasuke, who had just finished his battle with his brothers. His eyes seemed to contain an endless abyss, so calm that their depths were unfathomable.

"How's the plan going?" Sasuke asked casually.

"It went very smoothly." Uchiha Yao picked up his teacup and took a sip, his tone as casual as if he were discussing a trivial matter. "Kisame and Deidara have diverted the Raikage's attention, and the main force of Kumogakure has been sent out to hunt them down. Kumogakure is now like a treasure trove that has lost its guard, its gates wide open."

"You never intended to defeat the Eight-Tails with those two from the beginning." Sasuke's eyes flickered slightly. "You were trying to lure them away from their base."

Uchiha Yao smiled and did not deny it: "Although the Eight-Tails is a powerful tailed beast, Killer Bee, that old fox, has too many ways to protect himself. To seize a tailed beast from a vessel that a village is protecting with all its might is not only time-consuming and laborious, but it is also easy to prolong the battle. Rather than going head-to-head with the strongest opponent, it is better to change our approach—shift the target from the tailed beast to the village itself."

He put down his teacup and looked out at the night: "When the Hidden Cloud Village was an impenetrable wall, no one could break it. But if an outsider understands its structure well enough, knows where its key points are, and then plants a pawn in advance, waiting for the right opportunity to give it a gentle push—then the entire impenetrable wall will shatter like porcelain."

Sasuke was silent for a moment, then said in a low voice, "You've already arranged for Masai and Samui to go in?"

"The switch is complete." Uchiha Yao's gaze deepened. "The Mabui and Samui of this world have been replaced by my people and are currently working normally in their posts in Kumogakure. They will remain there until the time is right."

Sasuke didn't ask any more questions.
