Chapter 100 A Strange Race (Seeking First Subscription)

After listening to the soldier's report, Alphonse was puzzled.

Four-legged humans?

What is that thing?

According to the message relayed by the queen ant, the strange human was discovered by worker ants who went out to forage for food in the middle of the night, and no conflict occurred.

Although her territory had been invaded, the queen ant, mindful that the human resembled her master, did not send out soldier ants to eliminate him.

Alphonse pondered for a moment.

The word "similar" is not a reliable description.

In the eyes of the queen ant, all humans probably look pretty much the same.

Alphonse was a little confused about who that person was.

After all, the description of the queen ant is not very detailed, and it is very possible that she also mistook the hands for feet.

But if the queen ant calls it strange, then we should investigate.

I thought I could stay home peacefully for a while, but unexpected things happened again.

Alphonse didn't bring any guards; he simply put on a fur coat and left the castle.

With his current strength, he's not someone that just anyone can keep alive.

If you really encounter a powerful enemy that you can't defeat, there are still various escape techniques to get away.

The Holy Cult's Blood Escape Technique is quite famous!

Mia is busy cultivating, so let's not bother her.

Alphonse flew northwest, passing through forests and over mountains, but he did not see any strange people. All he saw were wild animals, but not any ferocious beasts.

Until they arrived at a certain place.

Suddenly, with a "whoosh," a sharp sound of wind breaking rang out.

Alphonse made no move, because the attack was not directed at him.

A small shadow darted past.

A muffled thud.

Alphonse stopped his advance as he recognized what it was.

It was an arrow, embedded in the trunk of a tree, its fletching still trembling.

It penetrated halfway into the tree trunk, containing considerable force.

This was followed by a slightly immature shout, "Human, stop right there!"

It has a bit of a mixed-up tone, but it's not quite at the level of "just turned eighteen" that makes your scalp tingle.

Alphonse looked in the direction of the sound and saw a strange girl emerge from the forest, her longbow drawn and an arrow nocked, pointing at him from afar.

He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, somewhat surprised.

It wouldn't be accurate to say that this girl was human; she only had the upper body of a human, while her lower body was in the shape of a horse, with elegant yet strong lines.

She was a very young centaur girl with delicate and gentle features. She looked like she hadn't fully grown up yet and had some baby fat.

Her chestnut-brown hair was braided and hung in front of her chest, with a colorful headband tied on her forehead, which looked like it was woven from various colored threads.

The clothes they wore were rough, like animal hides haphazardly sewn together, but the brown horse also had a large piece of leather draped over its body, seemingly bound together with a leather belt around its belly.

Alphonse keenly noticed that there were dark bloodstains on her body and hairband.

I never expected to encounter such strange creatures as centaurs in my own territory.

It seems the queen ant's description was accurate; she really was a four-legged being.

Instead of launching a direct attack, they fired arrows as a warning, indicating that they did not harbor any murderous intent towards humans.

"Why should I stop? This is my territory." Alphonse walked forward leisurely.

"If you come any closer, don't blame me for shooting you!" the centaur girl shouted sharply, her voice rising several decibels.

"I'd like to see how you're going to shoot me." Alphonse chuckled, lightly touched the ground with his toes, and dashed forward like a gust of wind.

The powerful arrow shot out immediately, aiming straight for Alphonse's face.

Alphonse simply raised his hand and flicked his finger.

The arrow struck precisely where it was aimed.

The arrow was instantly shattered and scattered.

The centaur girl still wanted to draw her bow and shoot an arrow, but it was too late.

Alphonse approached like a ghost, unleashing a few wisps of wind from his fingers that struck several vital points around her body.

This was the first time Alphonse had ever seen such a strange creature, so he didn't go for the kill, not even using his Innate Formless Finger Sword.

I just wanted to control her.

To their astonishment, they discovered that while the centaur girl's upper body was frozen, her lower body could still move. With a turn of her body, her horse's rump swayed, and her hooves kicked out sharply.

This is a very strange phenomenon!

Acupressure techniques were not entirely effective.

I thought that since she had a human body, her acupoints should be similar.

Alphonse leaped lightly, dodging the centaur girl's powerful hoof strike, and landed on the horse like a falling leaf.

The centaur girl, however, could not escape either.

Alphonse pressed down slightly with his foot.

The immense pressure immediately descended.

The centaur girl let out a sob and knelt down.

"Let go of Nina!"

Another crisp shout rang out.

Alphonse looked up.

I was immediately struck by how bright it was.

They had reached the edge of the forest when three centaur girls drew their bows and aimed their arrows at them from a distance.

They all looked like they had been through a fierce battle, and their bodies were wrapped in animal skins and had been simply bandaged, but bloodstains were still visible on them.

The girl leading the group particularly impressed Alphonse.

To be fair, Nina hasn't fully matured yet; her appearance is still quite youthful.

This centaur girl was like a ripe peach, not only with a beautiful and charming face, but also with a bust that seemed to surpass Mia's, making her animal skin clothes bulge high.

Not only is she hot, but she's also a white horse with snow-white skin that has a pinkish tinge, and strong muscles that look like they contain powerful explosive force.

However, the centaur girl at the head of the group was not entirely white; she had brown hair with two braids hanging down on either side of her forehead.

The arrows on her longbow were particularly eye-catching, wrapped in a shimmering white light, just like the arrows in the hands of the other two centaur girls.

This is a sign of possessing fighting spirit.

They were much stronger than Nina, who was being restrained.

It seems the one leading the group is the leader.

But that's all there is to it.

Alphonse didn't care at all.

"What can you do if I don't let go?" Alphonse slowly stroked Nina's hair.

It's a little rough, like it hasn't been washed in a long time, but the texture is not much different from human hair, unlike a horse's mane.

With a single burst of energy, the centaur girl would perish.

However, Alphonse didn't want to kill her. He arrogantly addressed the three chilling-faced centaur girls, "You need to understand, it was you who trespassed on my territory!"

Nina's upper body was stiff and she couldn't move at all. The horse was also pinned down, leaving her no chance to resist. All she could do was cry out urgently, "Leave me alone!"

But how could the three centaur girls ignore her life or death? With the hostage in Alphonse's hands, they were hesitant to act rashly.
