Chapter 155 Miracle

Although Midio found it strange, he knew that Alphonse had many strange methods. After all, he had heard him say many times that he had received the magic from the magical bard Edson.

It is very likely that it has been passed down from ancient times and is not ordinary witchcraft.

She immediately put on a sweet smile. "Big brother, you're back? Why didn't you knock before barging in? What do you think of my new hair color? Red represents passion, don't I look energetic with this hair color?"

Alphonse did not answer Midio's series of questions, but instead glimpsed a basin of water not far from the mirror, filled with bright red liquid, much of which had splashed onto the ground.

It's obvious even to a fool that Midio knew the delegation from the Kingdom of Hailant had arrived in San Sentano, which is why he wanted to dye his hair to conceal his identity.

Mia was on the verge of death and didn't bother with any more words, so she went straight to the point.

"You are actually Prince Wein Zephyran of the Kingdom of Hailand, aren't you?"

Upon hearing this, Midio's expression changed drastically, his face fell, and he looked as if he had lost his parents.

She immediately threw herself at Alphonse, hugged his leg, and wailed, "Big brother, please don't hand me over to the delegation from the Kingdom of Hailant! I finally escaped from the palace with great difficulty, and I've always been loyal to you! I've stayed in the Coldwind Territory for so long; even if I haven't done anything meritorious, I've still put in a lot of effort!"

The tears just started flowing, and he wiped them on Alphonse's pants, snot and tears streaming down his face.

They've completely overwhelmed Alphonse.

Where is there even a trace of the noble demeanor of a prince in this guy?

In his words, the royal palace of the Kingdom of Hailant was like a prison cell in hell.

"If I go back, my sister will definitely spank me to pieces. I don't want to go back! I'd rather go on an adventure with you and be a magic advisor in Coldwind Territory."

Midio was crying pitifully, pleading incessantly.

It seems to possess a bewitching charm, making it impossible for people to harden their hearts and treat him with kindness.

But Alphonse couldn't be soft-hearted. "A rebellion has broken out in the palace. Mia is badly injured, her soul is crumbling. I need your help to save her!"

"Sister Mia?" Midio's crying stopped abruptly. Her mouth gaped open as she looked up at Alphonse in shock. "Really?"

"Really!" Alphonse nodded, confirming the truth. "Even if you're taken back to the capital of the Kingdom of Hailant, I'll come to see you when I have enough power. If you want to come out and play, I'll do everything in my power to bring you out. But for now, you have to help me!"

Alphonse couldn't understand why Midio was so afraid of his sister, so he could only make him a promise to persuade him to heal Mia.

Midio sniffed, wiped the tears from his face, and stood up. "Let's go, let's go to Sister Mia's."

Alphonse breathed a sigh of relief when he agreed so readily.

"You must save Mia!"

"Yes." Midio nodded emphatically. "Sister Mia has been so good to me, I won't watch her die!"

Midio. It's time to call him by his real name, Wein.

As soon as he entered the banquet hall, several knights of the Sky Knights and Bishop Bartos showed surprise, which quickly turned into delight.

Although Wayne had dyed his hair red, even his eyebrows were red, and there was still some dye left on his forehead, his appearance hadn't changed, and they still recognized him at a glance.

Immediately, they all knelt down on one knee, "Your Highness!"

If Wein were merely a prince, they wouldn't need to kneel in worship, but Wein is still a divine son blessed by the God of Light, and within the Papacy, he is second only to the Pope.

Wayne waved his hand, ignoring them, and strode towards Mia, who was enveloped in holy light.

Queen Junoan never expected that Alphonse would actually bring Prince Wayne back.

The leaders of the three major churches have all performed rituals to communicate with their gods or popes, but they have all received the same answer: they cannot find them.

Judging from the actions of Bishop Bartos and his entourage, he is indeed the genuine Prince Wein, no doubt about it.

Unlike the image shown on the light screen, the image displayed by Bishop Bartos showed Prince Wein smiling brightly, while he himself had a sour face, looking depressed and annoyed.

Wayne crouched down next to Mia, examined her briefly, and then took action.

He clasped his hands to his chest, a hazy, clear light emanating from him, and murmured, "Great God of Light! Protector of life, guide of all beings, your devout follower prays here, may you bestow your divine power and save this innocent soul!"

The leaders of the three major churches all looked to Wayne. It was not an easy thing to communicate with God; one had to purify one's mind and pray for a long time before receiving the gospel from God.

As soon as Kewei finished reciting the prayer, a magnificent pillar of light descended from the dome, seemingly piercing through it and descending from the starry sky.

Faintly, one could see feathers condensing within the pillar of light, fluttering and falling.

They actually came without warning!

The leaders of the three major churches were shocked and stunned.

Is the God of Light so easy to talk to?

Why are they making such a big fuss?

The warm and gentle holy light completely dispelled the stench of blood in the banquet hall, and everyone present felt an unparalleled sense of peace.

The holy light, however, carried an awe-inspiring and inviolable majesty, making people unconsciously want to bow their heads in respect.

This is a miracle that actually happened right before our eyes!

All eyes were drawn to Wayne within the pillar of light.

His aura had become devout and holy, and three pairs of huge wings of light suddenly appeared on his back and spread out.

Alphonse found it very strange and couldn't help but extend his spiritual senses to explore the area.

The moment I came into contact with the beam of light, I felt a jolt in my mind, and a faint stinging sensation appeared in my mind. I quickly suppressed my senses.

Wayne placed his hands on the unconscious Mia.

In an instant, Mia shone brightly, the radiance even penetrating her skin and bones, giving her entire body a translucent, luminous appearance, as dazzling as crystal.

After a while, the pillar of light suddenly dissipated, and the light wings on Wayne's back also scattered into specks of light and disappeared into the air.

Wayne's body went limp and he collapsed. As if he had known this would happen, Bishop Bartos was already there and caught him.

It seemed that the arrival of divine power had greatly depleted Wayne's energy, and his little face had turned deathly pale.

The radiance emanating from Mia's body slowly faded. With a soft groan, Mia opened her eyes, propped herself up, and asked in a bewildered expression, "Where am I? Am I not dead?"

In just a moment, she realized that she was in the banquet hall, and many people were staring at her intently.
