One ring alone cannot hold the corpse of the earth dragon Fiar, but if its body is broken down and cut into pieces, two spatial rings are more than enough to hold it.

"Fine!" Alphonse didn't mind. There was no container to store the earth dragon's blood, so it would all spill out as soon as it was cut.

Rather than spilling it on the ground, it's better to let the magic sword have a taste of the soup.

With Alphonse's approval, the magic sword cheered and immediately began to absorb the energy.

The earth dragon's blood gushed out and instantly floated up, disappearing into the blade of the demonic sword without a single drop being wasted.

Alphonse didn't cut the earth dragon's carcass into too many pieces; he simply gutted it and divided it into several large pieces.

The earth dragon's internal organs were mostly destroyed by the invisible sword energy that shattered its body, but Alphonse carefully preserved the remaining parts.

The heart, spleen, and kidneys were relatively intact, but the stomach was destroyed, leaving only a small part. The gallbladder was nowhere to be seen, presumably it was annihilated by the sword energy.

There are still some intestines left, which can be cleaned up slowly later.

Alphonse had drunk his fill of dragon blood and originally intended to stay in the Earth Dragon Cave for a while to avoid wasting the rare treasure of the Earth Dragon's flesh and blood. However, now that he had the spatial ring, things were different.

After collecting the dragon's head and the earth dragon's flesh and blood, Alphonse immediately thought of another problem.

He exerted force and inhaled sharply with the hand holding the sword hilt.

The demon sword immediately cried out in alarm, "What are you doing?!"

It then realized its tone was off, and changed it to a humble, pleading voice, "Master, I've only recovered a little bit. Don't drain all my power away! I'm your loyal servant!"

Alphonse was only conducting an experiment and immediately stopped the absorption.

"I'm just giving it a try."

The demonic sword breathed a sigh of relief when it sensed the suction force subside.

Alphonse has discovered that the Demon Sword can transform blood into death energy by absorbing it.

This can be used directly, unlike yourself, where you have to kill enemies to obtain necromantic energy.

That's good. If we use the Demon Sword as a transfer device, we'll have another way to obtain necromantic energy.

It's actually quite useful!

"You can become a boxing gauntlet; I don't like using swords."

The demon sword hesitated for a moment, "If I transform, it will continuously consume my power. Unless I'm going to fight, it's better to stay in this form."

Knowing it was his fault, Alphonse stopped blaming the magic sword and instead ran to the side of the cave to search through a pile of gold coins and ornaments.

The Demon Sword quickly offered its assistance, identifying each item one by one.

Most of these ornaments are magical items, but they are old and their magic has been completely lost, so they need to be recharged.

Even those scimitars are of high quality, enchanted and made of excellent materials, having withstood the erosion of time.

It is evident that the team that came to explore the cave was an elite force, but unfortunately, they failed to slay the dragon and were instead slain by the earth dragon.

Alphonse stuffed everything into his spatial ring. If he didn't need it, he could take it back to Coldwind Territory and give it to others.

Centaurs use curved swords; good stuff shouldn't be wasted.

As soon as the pile of gold coins was taken away, the Demon Sword let out a soft "Eh," as a dusty, dark, and ancient key caught its attention.

Alphonse also sensed that there was still a slight magical fluctuation remaining on this unassuming key.

It was almost imperceptible.

The demonic sword released black mist, which sucked up the key.

A wisp of black mist swirled and poured into it, causing a blue light to shine from the key.

Ripples appeared in the air, and the azure lines outlined a picture.

It looks like a tall tower in a valley.

The picture also features four common characters: Godin's Tower.

The blue light on the key condensed into a beam of fine needles, pointing diagonally upwards from the cave like an arrow.

"This map seems to mark a magic tower; it should contain the archmage's collection. Perhaps we should go take a look?"

"Let's leave this cave first." Alphonse put the magic key into his spatial ring.

It did pique my interest; although I don't have any magical talent, magical items are always a good thing.
