Chapter 224: The Princess's Revenge?

Although Theon's decision was impromptu, he had already noticed that the dark elf warriors and the various grotesque half-demons around him all possessed considerable strength.

Roughly estimated, there were only a few thousand men, but they were all elites among elites. In any faction, they could at least serve as generals in one of its regions.

With their help, these few thousand men alone would be enough to easily annihilate an army of over ten thousand.

One against ten is probably an understatement.

After all, most soldiers in the army are just ordinary people who have not yet developed fighting spirit.

As for colluding with foreign tribes? We've already fallen to this point, why bother with all that?

Kaetti wiped away her tears, sniffed, and a determined look appeared on her pretty face. "If helping you rescue people isn't enough, as long as I can reclaim the throne of the Kingdom of Izmir, I can grant you all the land in this region! I think you left Fantalia because the environment there is extremely harsh and difficult to survive, right? I can offer you many conveniences! I can even cede this territory and allow you to establish a self-governing duchy! The royal family will not interfere in any way!"

Promises made in vain?

Alphonse chuckled inwardly. To gain this land, the first prerequisite was that Kaetti could successfully avenge himself and ascend the throne.

If you can't do it, everything else is meaningless.

"Whether I help you or not is not up to me," Alphonse said with a sneer. "The people here are not my subordinates."

As he spoke, he pointed to Sharibel lying in front of him, "This is their leader, the Pope Sharibel of the Dark Church. If you need help, you'll have to wake him up and talk to him."

Neither the dark elves nor the half-demons present spoke. With their leaders already fallen, they had made Alphonse their leader, and the negotiations were entirely up to Alphonse.

Theon and Kaatee exchanged a glance, as if they had reached a tacit understanding. Theon nodded heavily. "I'll take you to our Red Forest Party's stronghold first, to find my teacher!"

"You can come with me." Alphonse pointed to Theon, then to Kaetti. "The princess will stay here to ensure her safety. It's inconvenient to move around with too many people."

Alphonse felt his temples throbbing and his scalp twitching. Waves of exhaustion washed over him; he was utterly worn out.

If I take Theon with me, I can carry him and fly once I recover, which will save a lot of time.

Theon was taken aback, but shook his head vigorously. "No! I can't leave Kaetti here!"

Kaetti grabbed Theon's arm, "I want to go with Theon!"

Alphonse raised his hand and gently rubbed his temples. Taking two people with him on a flight was going to be a hassle.

"The journey is quite long. We have a magical vehicle for long-distance travel, but it can only accommodate me and Kaeti. I wonder if you have a vehicle that can move quickly?" Theon asked.

"You have vehicle puppets?" Alphonse muttered, which seemed normal, since Archmage Godin was skilled at making them. "That's good then. Don't worry about me, I can keep up with you."

"Shall I go with you too?" Sera asked Alphonse.

"You stay here and take good care of Sharibel," Alphonse said, rejecting Sera's offer without hesitation.

"Then, shall we have Vitina accompany you and take care of your daily needs?" Sera added.

Alphonse was taken aback. What was Sera up to? Was she having Vitina spy on him? But wait, she didn't seem to care how many women he had. Did she want to push Vitina onto him too?

What were you thinking?

"No need, I can go by myself." Alphonse reached out and gently stroked Sera's cheek, instructing her, "You stay here and lead them to establish a base first. Let Vitina help you. Try not to get into conflicts with the races outside. It would be best if you could coexist peacefully. If it really comes to that, and you can't win a fight, then retreat back to the City of Peace."

"Mmm." Sera nodded obediently.

During this time, she had already heard Alphonse say that he was just a minor lord on the border of the Kingdom of Bastian.

Alphonse's power truly instilled in Sera a sense of awe for the Kingdom of Bastian. If a mere minor lord was so formidable, then how powerful must the other humans be?

Seeing Theon and Kaeti, they discovered that not all humans were as strong as Alphonse.

She knew she couldn't defeat Theon, but she was absolutely certain she could slit open the delicate throat of Princess Kaatee of the human kingdom with the Shadow of Gadon.

If enemies attack, and negotiations fail, we can simply kill them all.

The Dark Elves are not people who can be bullied at will.

"Ezizangeus!" Alphonse called out.

"Here!" The divine scimitar Erzangus floated into the air.

This sight truly surprised Theon and Kaeti; weapons with self-awareness are rare indeed.

"While your master is unconscious, you shall help Sera," Alphonse instructed.

"No problem, leave it to me!" Erzangus readily agreed, as it also needed time to recover its strength.

"Let's go," Alphonse said to Theon and Caeti.

The surrounding dark elves immediately parted to make way for them.

Alphonse strode out, and the Demon Sword immediately followed, floating leisurely behind.

Pushing through the crowd and stepping outside, Theon waved his hand, and a mechanical chocobo appeared before him.

The mechanical chocobo was painted black, with smooth and flowing body lines. The metal plates on its body were clearly meticulously designed and fit together seamlessly.

The design of the people in this other world is clearly limited; for example, vehicles shouldn't be designed as mounts.

Alphonse was genuinely surprised.

Perhaps it's related to the magic core of the puppet? Is this form more convenient?

There wasn't enough room on the chocobo's saddle; Theon and Kaatee had to be pressed close together just riding together.

"My lord, where is your vehicle?" Theon asked.

"Don't worry about me," Alphonse replied casually, and with a wave of his hand, a shadowy earth dragon, seven or eight meters tall, appeared out of thin air.

Theon and Kaydi stared in utter shock, their mouths agape in disbelief.

I never expected that the man in front of me would summon a giant dragon that seemed to be formed from dark power.

They couldn't sense any fluctuations of battle aura or magic from Alphonse, but his previous actions showed that he was a powerful expert with immense strength.

But this dark dragon was beyond their imagination.
