Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!

Chapter 110 He was arrested

After passing through the bone gate, there is a relatively spacious "front hall" where three figures stand.

They wore greyish-white deacon robes and pale bone masks, showing no signs of life.

The familiar ghostly guards, the academy's living security and law enforcement unit.

One of them stiffly raised a bandaged hand, palm up, and made a simple gesture of asking for something.

"Identity badge..."

A hoarse voice escaped from its mouth; it was unclear how these spirits could speak human language.

Lynn took out his Dark Silver Badge from the ring and placed it in the other person's palm.

The deacon grasped the nameplate and thrust it directly into the void...

One end of the nameplate seemed to have been swallowed up by something, obscuring half of its shape.

The nameplate instantly lit up with complex dark silver patterns, displaying Lynn's identity information, mission records, contribution point balance, and access level...

The rough results of the scan and evaluation that had just been conducted in the tunnel all turned into streaks of light that flashed quickly through the patterns.

The butler's empty eye sockets seemed to be "reading" this information.

While Lynn's undead are numerous and of astonishing quality, in the rules of the Bone Spire, this is merely a "gift," not a "threat."

But Lynn was still a little nervous.

After all, he left the academy "by" Gregor's private teleportation array and had no discharge record. He wondered if he would be detained because of this.

If he's really detained, then we'll have to call Gregor to bail him out.

A moment later, the Ghost Guardian handed the nameplate back to Lynn.

Then, the three deacons stepped aside, clearing the way to the interior.

The entire process was conducted without making any sound or making any unnecessary movements.

Lynn breathed a sigh of relief after receiving the nameplate, which still retained a trace of cold, negative energy.

He knew he had passed the "security check".

It seems that the college is not strict in screening those leaving the college, and only conducts key checks on those entering the college.

He put away the nameplate, nodded slightly to the three ghostly guards, and stepped through the front hall.

Upon entering the academy gates, the towering "Spirit of Bones" still comes into view, with the enormous bat-winged creature atop the spire still hovering in the blood-stained clouds.

Lynn was very curious about the powerful creature, but unfortunately the distance was too great, beyond the reach of his analysis.

Unable to analyze the enormous creature, Lynn set his sights on the bone spire and, out of curiosity, activated "Analysis".

--------

[Target]: Bone Spire (Academy Core - Active Undead Construct)

[Rank]: ??? (Exceeding the detection limit)

[Composition]: Forged from the bones of countless dragons, Titans, abyssal demons, etc.; a network of soul chains and energy; nodes of demiplane rules.

[Detected characteristics]:

Active Resonance: The tower is deeply bound to the [Eternal Night Graveyard] demiplane, continuously absorbing void energy and transforming it into the aura of death.

Soul Forge: The phantom souls hanging on the chains are part of the tower's energy cycle "active fuel" and warning system.

Rule Entity: The tower structure contains fragments of rules such as death, bondage, and pain; its very existence constitutes a domain.

[WARNING]: Deep consciousness fluctuations detected. This construct may possess a basic will. It is recommended to maintain awe and avoid mental probing.

...

The moment the information flooded my mind, a sudden change occurred!

Almost at the same instant the "analysis" feedback came out, Lynn felt the entire skeleton spire come to life.

The spire remains the same, but a vast, ancient "will" lurking within it has suddenly awakened.

Like a sleeping dragon opening its eyes.

An irresistible gaze pierced through layers of buildings and energy barriers, landing precisely on him.

Pfft!

Lynn's heart stopped, and his blood seemed to freeze instantly!

A bone-chilling cold enveloped my entire body, and the world before my eyes suddenly lost its color, leaving only distorted gray lines.

It wasn't the coldness of temperature, but the fear and stiffness that arose from the instinct of the soul when one's level of life was being "watched" by an absolutely superior being.

Oh no! We've gone too far!

Before Lynn could even think or react, everything went blurry again.

Before the dizziness from the spatial displacement had subsided, the cold metallic touch came from my wrist.

Two irresistible forces clamped his arms and "lifted" him up from the spot.

In the blurry vision, only two figures with metal masks covering their faces could be seen on the left and right – Soul Hunters.

They flanked Lynn from both sides, giving him no chance to argue.

Without any explanation or pause, the hunter led him at high speed through the intricate academy corridors.

The walls and doorways blurred into indistinct afterimages, finally settling on a door formed by the fusion of dark silver metal and the spine of some kind of creature.

The door slid open silently, and Lynn was practically "thrown" into the room. The door behind him immediately closed, cutting off all outside information.

Two hunters stood guard outside the door like statues.

The interior of the room was surprisingly simple, even plain.

The walls are a matte dark gray, and there are no superfluous decorations other than the necessary furniture.

In the center of the room was a large black wooden table, behind which sat a woman watching him with great interest.

Lynn forced herself to calm down and looked up.

It was a woman whose exact age was indiscernible, dressed in a perfectly fitted dark purple robe embroidered with intricate patterns in silver thread.

She had long, silver-white hair, a pale yet delicate face, and eyes that were almost transparent light gray, with countless tiny points of soul light slowly rotating and annihilating deep within her pupils.

She simply sat there, and the air in the entire room seemed to freeze, increasing Lynn's pressure.

This person is none other than Sersi, the Soul Reaper, the deputy tower master in charge of discipline throughout the academy.

Sersi's gaze fell on Lynn, and though it was just a simple look, Lynn felt as if he had been thoroughly analyzed from the inside out.

She spoke, her voice calm and even, yet possessing a penetrating power that reached the depths of the soul:

"Little fellow, your name is Lynn, right? You've already reached the third-level apprentice level!"

She lightly tapped a crystal panel on the table with constantly changing characters, checking Lynn's information.

"The file is interesting. I remember the last time the old madman complained to me... oh no, he mentioned you, saying he picked up a troublesome but somewhat interesting brat."

She leaned forward slightly, her gray eyes staring directly at Lynn:

"You got caught by the hunters as soon as you got back to the academy? You've got some nerve, you're such a handful."

"I'm very curious, what method did you use to probe the tower and manage to disturb the sleeping tower spirit..."
