Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!

Chapter 292 Taking Over the World

Lynn rode his bone dragon to the last stand of the survivors.

In the heart of the orc kingdom, countless undead emerged from the snow, their bones blending seamlessly with the white snow.

Some crawled out from underground, some emerged from the shadows, and some came running wildly from afar.

They formed an impenetrable encirclement, trapping the remaining hundreds of people in the middle.

A warrior rushed out of the collapsed city gate, wielding a giant axe, and swung it at the nearest undead.

The warrior was quite strong; he cleaved three skeletons in two before a bone claw grabbed his head from behind.

Megatron's dark gold skeleton gleamed in the sunlight as he gripped the warrior's head like a chick.

The soldier struggled desperately, kicking his legs wildly, and the axe had fallen somewhere.

Megatron exerted a slight force with his claws, and the warrior's head exploded like an egg.

"Your Majesty, please leave quickly!" Several guards rushed forward, grabbed the king, and tried to drag him away.

But they had only run a few steps when the Demon Eye's spiritual beam swept over them, and the three guards fell silently.

The Balrog strode heavily as he entered from outside the encirclement.

Lava flows beneath its feet, melting the snow and scorching the ground.

Wherever it passed, the air distorted.

An old mage raised his staff, and a bolt of lightning struck the fire demon.

The fire demon didn't even try to dodge. The lightning struck it, exploding into a burst of sparks, but it didn't even break its skin.

It turned its head to look at the old mage and opened its mouth.

The eerie green flames of the abyss erupted, and before the old mage could even scream, he was burned to ashes.

The Decepticons emerged from the shadows, and their Thousand Soul Chains flew out, binding a dozen soldiers who were trying to break through.

Their souls were ripped away, and their bodies collapsed to the ground.

The earth dragon rider rampaged through the crowd, and with each swing of its hammer, a soldier was reduced to minced meat.

The Frost Whale swooped down from the sky, its frigid breath sweeping across the area, freezing dozens of people into ice sculptures.

When the king fled from the far north city, he already had several hundred guards with him, but now only a few are left.

The king, protected by a few loyal guards, watched helplessly as those around him fell one by one.

Those ministers, those old men who had served him for decades, those soldiers whose names he could recall...

They're all dead.

The old minister stood in front of him, arms outstretched, like a mother hen protecting her chicks.

A corpse beetle pounced on him and bit his leg.

The old minister let out a miserable cry and collapsed.

More insects swarmed up and overwhelmed his body.

"No—!" the king roared.

The bone dragon landed in front of him.

The man jumped off the dragon's back, walked up to him, and looked down at him.

The king raised his head and met his gaze.

There was no emotion in those eyes.

There was no anger, no pity, not even the triumph of a victor.

Only calmness, like watching an object about to be disposed of.

The king opened his mouth as if to say something, but ultimately held back.

It's all about the victors taking all; anything said now is just the clamor of the losers.

But he wanted a dignified ending.

The fate unique to monarchs who have lost their kingdoms.

The king drew the "holy sword" from his waist, and a blazing holy flame ignited on its blade.

"Heavenly Demon! I challenge you to a duel!"

Lynn raised her hand.

The chains of death flew from his palm and pierced the king's body.

The soul was extracted, and the body fell.

Hmm... a dignified way to die.

He turned and looked at the battlefield.

The battle is over.

Hundreds of people, all wiped out.

The undead began to clean up the battlefield, collect corpses, and extract souls.

Lynn walked to the king's corpse, knelt down, and took the spatial ring off his finger.

Using mental energy to probe inside, one finds the last treasury of the Kingdom of Ella.

A massive amount of magic crystals, energy crystals, a pile of materials, and so-called sacred artifacts and national guardian artifacts.

He put away the ring, looked up at the sky, and sensed everything in this world.

The Demon Eye and the Bone Dragon were still circling, monitoring their surroundings.

There are hardly any living people left on this continent.

He turned and walked towards the orc capital city that had already fallen in the distance.

There were even more spoils waiting for him there.

Two days later, the dead turned the whole world upside down.

All valuable resource points were marked.

Dozens of large mineral veins, several magic crystal mines, three ley lines rich in magical materials, and countless monster lairs.

Lynn didn't go to mine those veins; that would take time, and he didn't bring that many miners with him.

He simply noted down the location of the mine and waited to hand it over to the people at the academy; this was also proof that he had completed his mission.

He did manage to raid all those monster lairs, wiping out all the high-level monsters in one fell swoop—killing those he could and taking in those he could.

The remaining cubs were put into specially made cages, ready to be taken back and sold.

On the seventh day, a light shone in the sky.

A temporary teleportation portal unfolded in mid-air, and more than a dozen figures flew out of the portal and landed in front of him.

The leader was a middle-aged man wearing a gray wizard's robe, exuding the aura of a peak second-ring cultivator.

Behind him were three first-level wizards and seven or eight third-level apprentices.

After landing, the middle-aged man glanced at the wandering undead around him, his pupils slightly contracting.

These undead... are unusual.

Looking at Lynn's calm expression, and recalling the rumors about him...

In just over ten years, he cultivated from an ordinary person to a third-ring wizard, which is simply a miracle.

If things continue like this, as long as they don't perish, the Holy Marks and True Spirits will be within their grasp.

Hmm... I can't afford to offend them.

Thinking of this, he quickly walked up to Lynn and bowed respectfully:

"Marco, the overseas deacon of the Bone Spire, greets Lord Lynn. I have come to take over this planet on the orders of the Academy."

The wizards and apprentices behind him also bowed in respect.

Lynn nodded: "Thank you for your hard work. The resistance has been eliminated, and the world is basically safe. This is a resource distribution map."

He took out a piece of animal hide, on which were marked the locations of the mines and resource points.

Marco took it with both hands, glanced at it, and his face lit up with joy: "Sir, your efficiency is amazing. Let's get started right away."

He turned and instructed the wizards to take their apprentices to build teleportation arrays, collect world information, and survey resources.

Those people immediately got to work.

Marco stayed by Lynn's side, his attitude respectful: "My lord, when these mines are officially opened for mining in the future, you will also receive a share."

Lynn nodded, but didn't seem to care too much.

The resources in this world are not very precious, and the distribution ratio is not high, so not many magic stones can be distributed in a year.

Seeing Lynn's lack of enthusiasm, Marco continued:

"The teleportation array back to the academy will take about a day to build. Would you like to wait here, sir, or...?"

"It's alright, you all go about your business, I'll wait here," Lynn said.

Of course, he would wait for the teleportation array to be built before returning directly to the academy.

Flying back by myself would be too slow, and I would have to cross the void, making it easy to get lost, and the risks would be too great.

Marco nodded and respectfully took his leave.

The following day, he continued to sit atop the ruined tower, watching the wizards go about their business.

Marco tried to strike up a conversation with him several times, but seeing that he was resting with his eyes closed, he wisely refrained from disturbing him.
