Eternal Beast Taming Family

Chu Shengfan stared intently toward the source of the sound. A girl with a baby face was standing in the center of the void platform, her eyes scrutinizing Chu Shengfan.

This was a single-source beast combat assessment, which did not require the participation of a contract master. Chu Shengfan cupped his hands in greeting to the girl in charge of the assessment, said nothing more, and began to summon his source beast.

A massive "Spiritual Mica" with a canopy diameter of over thirty meters slowly rose from behind Chu Shengfan.

The girl's mouth gaped slightly as she looked utterly astonished to see that Chu Shengfan, who was merely a lower-level alien, had summoned such a colossal creature.

Seeing that the girl remained still and didn't summon any source beasts, Chu Shengfan frowned slightly. "Senior, how should I fight her?"

After Chu Shengfan reminded her, the girl finally turned her gaze away from "Lingyuan Yunmu".

She gently raised her hand, and a crystal that had been floating above the void platform at some point shone a beam of blue and yellow light downwards.

A massive rain of fire fell from the clouds. The "Glassy Tiger Soldier" sprinted forward, its limbs outstretched. A glass-like shield stood above it, blocking the falling fire.

However, upon closer inspection, one can see that the glass shield is slowly deforming under the scorching heat of the fire rain, as if it is melting.

It had just burst out of the fire rain when it was met head-on by five or six tentacles with crystal spikes attacking its body from different directions.

The glass shield beside the "Glassy Tiger Soldier" shattered instantly, turning into countless tiny, sharp spikes that spun around it, cutting at the oncoming tentacles.

Its claws on its limbs also extended rapidly, and as it leaped up, they pierced through the air with a whistling sound as they struck one of its tentacles.

'Ding ding ding'

The sound of crystals clashing rang out. The glass spikes formed by the "Glassy Tiger Soldiers" struck the tentacle watch skin, leaving only very shallow marks. Some of them caused only shallow cuts and bloodstains.

However, the claws of the "Glassy Tiger Soldier" itself tore through the skin of the "Spiritual Mica," even severing the crystal spikes on it, leaving a deep wound.

Although the wound was deep, no blood gushed out; instead, it revealed a jelly-like interior.

The "Glassy Tiger Soldier" only damaged one tentacle, while the other tentacles attacking from different directions successfully struck its body.

It whips, then its spikes pierce its glassy skin, and then it pulls it violently in different directions.

Deep, furrow-like wounds of varying depths appeared on the "Glassy Tiger Soldier's" body, and the "Spiritual Mica" gave it no chance to breathe.

Several tentacles took turns cutting through its body, and even the continuous flow of crystal glass condensing around it could not stop the powerful destruction caused by the tentacles.

Finally, several tentacles wrapped around different parts of its body—head, chest, and waist—and then exerted force in different directions.

Under the gaze of the two pairs of eyes, the "Glassy Tiger Soldier" was broken into three pieces.

The entire battle was short, lasting only about a minute, and it was over.

The girl in charge of the assessment looked at the "Spiritual Mica" in the air with a complicated expression. She had thought that this big guy would be difficult to deal with, but she did not expect the battle to end so quickly.

The college's final score is the sum of the scores from all the assessments. In other words, the more assessments you participate in, the higher your score will be. Therefore, even if people know they don't have much of an advantage in a particular area, they will still try their best to participate in more assessments, especially in combat, which is not such an objective assessment.

The crystal suspended above the void platform summoned a pillar of light once more, and the "Glassy Tiger Soldier," identical to the previous one, slowly walked out from within the pillar of light.
