Eternal Beast Taming Family
Chapter 54 Three Different Pythons
Chu Jingyu did not offer any opinion on his actions until Chu Qinhui finished recounting his trip.
He picked up the golden scale, examined it for a moment, and said thoughtfully, "I didn't expect that the most precious thing in that forest would be this scale. What did you say it was called again?"
"Golden-scaled dragonfish".
"Next time we go to town, let's sell it. What our family needs right now isn't a rich history, but funds that will allow you to grow quickly."
Chu Jingyu returned the scale to Chu Qinhui's hand, without intending to keep it as a family heirloom.
Knowing his father's thoughts, Chu Qinhui carefully put away the scales. "Should we sell those scales to Uncle Sun, or send them to the Treasure Pavilion as auction items?"
"After all, it was your Uncle Sun who told us about the characteristics and uses of the scales. Let's trade them to him. It's important for us to maintain this relationship."
Chu Qinhui nodded, indicating that he understood. He then looked at his daughter, Chu Shenghan, and asked, "Xiaohan, are you afraid of snakes?"
Upon hearing this, Chu Shenghan looked up at her father, her fingers nervously rubbing together in front of her, and softly hummed in response.
"Xiao Han is afraid of snakes?" Chu Jingyu asked in confusion.
"Xiao Han was bitten by a snake a couple of years ago, and I'm worried she might have some kind of psychological trauma," Chu Qinhui explained, explaining why Xiao Han was afraid of snakes.
Chu Jingyu frowned slightly, then relaxed. "If Xiaohan is indeed afraid after these three snake eggs hatch, then let's buy a new source beast from town to form a contract."
Chu Shenghan pinched the hem of her clothes and whispered, "Grandpa, it's okay, I can handle it."
Chu Jingyu smiled and placed his hand on Chu Shenghan's head. "It's okay. It's okay to be scared. For your own sake and for the sake of your source beast, it's best to contract a source beast that you truly like."
Chu Shenghan looked at the three snake eggs in the wooden basin, her eyes flashing with determination.
By evening, the spiritual liquid in the wooden basin had been completely absorbed by the three snake eggs, but they still hadn't hatched.
Chu Jingyu had no choice but to pour in ten more bottles of spiritual liquid. It wasn't until the morning of the next day that slight cracks appeared on the surface of the three snake eggs.
The three snake eggs began to shake restlessly, as if something was about to burst out of them.
Chu Jingyu was dozing in his recliner when he woke up the moment the three snake eggs showed signs of movement. He then began to observe them intently.
"Click-clack".
The first snake egg was pushed open from the inside, creating a large hole, and a bluish-gray snake head emerged from it.
Its tongue kept sticking out of its mouth, as if it was sensing its surroundings.
After sensing for a while, it bent down and began to nibble along the edge of the crack in the eggshell.
As the first python cub was born, similar cracks appeared on the other two eggs, and two small heads emerged from them one after another.
However, they are very different in color. One has a pinkish-white head, while the other has a greenish-blue skin with pink runes mixed in, making it look extremely unique.
However, the weakest was the green-blue striped python cub, which was not only much smaller than the other two, but also had a more dull look in its eyes.
Chu Jingyu couldn't help but frown as he looked at it, because the other two had already eaten most of his eggshell.
It only took a few weak bites, then stopped moving its mouth as if it couldn't bite anymore, and instead retracted its entire body into the eggshell.
Chu Jingyu watched anxiously from the side, fearing that if he wasn't careful, the little guy would die inside the snake egg.
After the other two snakes finished eating their own eggshells, their bodies became noticeably larger. However, they were clearly not satisfied and excitedly crawled into the wooden basin toward the eggshell of the weak little snake.
Chu Jingyu reacted quickly, taking the eggshell of the third small snake out of the wooden basin and then carefully examining it through the opening.
Chu Jingyu breathed a sigh of relief when he discovered that the weak little snake was still alive, lying listlessly coiled inside the eggshell.
He thought for a moment, then took out a porcelain bottle containing spiritual liquid and carefully dripped a few drops into it along the opening in the eggshell.
After licking the egg a few times, the weak little snake seemed to regain some strength and straightened up again to slowly nibble along the edge of the eggshell.
The other two small snakes, seeing that the food had disappeared, became somewhat agitated and crawled around in the wooden basin. However, they did not attack each other after seeing each other.
Despite their vastly different appearances and even races, the shared scent they share makes them consider each other family.
After exploring the wooden basin and finding no food, the two laughed and climbed out along the edge of the basin, then came to the stone table. The two little ones peeked out, trying to find a suitable way to leave the stone table.
Chu Jingyu looked at the two lively little ones, then at the one in his hand, which had eaten a couple of bites of eggshells and then lay back down listlessly. He felt rather helpless; the difference between children from the same parents was too great.
To prevent the two lively little ones from running around, Chu Jingyu used his other hand to pick them up, then went into the main room, bowed to the books on the octagonal table, and then spoke:
"We are disturbing Ancestor Chu's meditation. This python cub in its eggshell has some congenital deficiencies. We wonder if Ancestor Chu has any way to restore it to health?"
Hearing the sound, Chu Mu woke up from the Simmons mattress he had conjured for himself, and then looked outside and saw three little creatures of different appearances in Chu Jingyu's hands.
snake.
Chu Mu was still somewhat dazed, but he immediately came to his senses. It wasn't that he was afraid, but he just really couldn't like this kind of long and soft creature. Of course, dragons were a different story.
Chu Mu stood up and walked into the conjured pavilion. He spoke calmly:
"Let's bring the three little ones in first."
Colorful threads spread out, pulling the two python cubs, one green and one pink, in Chu Jingyu's left hand, along with the snake egg and the weak little snake inside in his right hand, into the vortex portal on the stone book.
It seemed that Chu Zu did not give him the right to refuse. Chu Jingyu looked at his now empty hands.
"Thank you for your trouble, Chu Zu."
Inside the pavilion, Chu Mu watched the three little creatures from a distance of a few meters, paying particular attention to the one nestled in the snake egg.
Upon arriving in the new environment, the two lively children couldn't wait to explore their surroundings. Chu Mu didn't stop them, letting them explore freely. As long as they were still in this space, Chu Mu could find them no matter where they went.
Opening the "Nameless Book," Chu Mu found information about the three little creatures in the family property.
It's a bit strange, though, that these three python cubs, despite having the same parents, have three different species names.
"Aomori Giant Anaconda", "Powder Rock Crystal Python", "Wood Spirit Crystal Pattern Python".
