On the sink was Don Quixote's somewhat dirty razor, the blade even bearing yellowish limescale and rust.

Obviously, someone like Don Quixote, who alters long sleeves into short sleeves and short sleeves into underwear, wouldn't be willing to spend money to buy replacement razor blades.

However, even a partially rusted blade can easily cut open a rough face, causing bleeding.

Li Wei took the razor, removed the blade, and then gently slid it onto his arm.

A resilient feeling came from the blade, as if the blade was not cutting through a human body, but through some substance stronger than the blade, like a steel cable.

He walked up to Michael and patted him on the shoulder.

"What's going on?" He pointed to the middle. "Why are there so many people today?"

"Oh... Li Wei, you're here. We have an event today," Michael turned around and greeted Li Wei. "A bench press contest where you can win cash and protein powder."

Levi looked at the area Michael pointed to and saw a group of burly men surrounding the center of the strength zone. A black man weighing over 110 kilograms with arms thicker than Levi's thighs was trying to bench press with a 160-kilogram barbell.

"How much is first place?" Li Wei asked Michael.

"$500, plus a tub of hydrolyzed whey protein," Michael said, looking at the strength zone with envy in his eyes. "They're so strong. I wonder if it's possible to reach their level without using performance-enhancing drugs."

"It's probably going to be a bit difficult," Li Wei said casually. "I saw them exchanging tips on spraying pesticides last time."

"Never mind then, I want to be a doctor, and I'm not planning on going down the athletic path... Oh, right," he thought for a moment, then pointed to a young Black man near the front of the weight room, "Didn't you want to join the Franklin High School football team? Look at his physique, he's the team's defensive tackle, he's about to go on the field."

Li Wei turned his gaze and saw a large, fat man, about the same height as him but weighing at least 130 kilograms, eager to try his hand at the fight.

"Contestant number 14, Manu!"

Manu from the Franklin High School football team cheered and went up to the stage.

He had a mature and menacing face that didn't match his age at all, making him look like an underdeveloped silverback gorilla.

Hearing the referee's signal, he yelled and had his friend pat his back as he walked onto the bench press rack to attempt a 165-kilogram lift.

"165 kg! Success! Manu is now in first place!"

As Manu pushed his bench press record to 165 kg, the atmosphere instantly heated up, with everyone cheering for this promising overweight high school student.

"Manu, with your skill level, you could easily get into the NCAA, right?" His teammate laughed and hugged Manu as he came off the stage. "Which university are you planning to go to?"

"If I can go, I'll definitely go to Ohio State. After all, it's the top football school in America right now," Manu laughed smugly. "If I play for a few years and have some luck, I might even make it into the NFL."

Outside the weight training area, Levi watched Manu enjoying the cheers of the crowd, then suddenly turned to the gym receptionist and asked, "Can I still sign up now? I want to earn that $500 too."

It wasn't entirely for showing off; he also wanted the $500 and the protein powder.

Most importantly, he felt he could push something heavier than 165 kilograms.

"I can, I can..." The gym receptionist looked at Li Wei as if he were a frail little chick, "but... what's the point of you signing up now? You can actually lift 165 kilograms?"

Hearing Li Wei's conversation with the receptionist, a Latina woman with a thick beard exclaimed in an exaggerated manner:

"Look who wants to challenge Manu! This is a bench press competition, not a math competition, and it's not the Panda Express rest area! Bruce Lee, are you in the wrong place?"

A burst of laughter erupted around them.

"Hey! Fuck you!" The white receptionist glared at the other man, cursed, and then apologized to Levi, "Listen, buddy, I can certainly register you if you want, but... it's pointless, you can't possibly overpower Manu."

Upon hearing this, Li Wei's initial thought of keeping a low profile was completely extinguished.

"Sign me up," Li Wei shrugged. "Seriously, can you really become the best in this gym by pushing 165 kilograms? I thought I came to a women's gym."

Li Wei's words undoubtedly provoked public outrage, and a barrage of angry curses erupted, especially from the Latino who had initially provoked them. If his companions hadn't stopped him, he would have jumped up.

As if to add to the festivities, the system also popped up and issued a task:

"Levi... why don't you..." Michael tried to persuade Levi, "Didn't you manage to push 110 kilograms last time?"

Li Wei handed the large water glass to Michael, saying, "Fill it up for me, thanks. I'll take it home to drink."

He casually walked over and glanced at the 165-kilogram barbell that Manu had just pushed.

"How much more do you want to add?" the referee asked as he stepped forward. "If you also push 165 kilograms, you can still win because you're lighter."

Li Wei's gaze swept around, lingering especially on the face of the bearded man he had clashed with, before he suddenly smiled:

"Hey, big bearded guy," he said, "if I could push 220 kilograms, could you go run a lap naked?"

"Little monkey! If you can push 220 kilograms," the Latino bearded man shouted defiantly, "I won't just run a lap naked, I'll slap myself while I run!"

"But if you can't push him away, then you can run out naked, saying 'I'm gay,' how about that?"

"Did you all hear that?" Li Wei said to the crowd around him, then turned to the referee, "I'll make you admit defeat! Get it to 240 kilograms! Get your phones out here, someone's going to trend on TikTok!"
