Chapter 99 The Finale

Qiqi stood up and said to Qiqi, "I'll go check on the two elderly people."

Qiqi nodded and went out. Once in the hallway, she glanced back at the closed door, opened WeChat, and sent the videos she had just taken to Yu Wenhao. Then, she pushed open the door to the next room and went inside.

A dozen minutes later, seven or eight policemen came upstairs. They pushed open the door and came in. Xiao Fu's parents were taken aback when they saw the police. Qiqi pointed to the next room, and the policemen left. Then they pushed open the door to the next room.

Yu Wenhao hadn't slept all night, only managing to sleep for a couple of hours after dropping off Diandian this morning. He lay in the car, exhausted but unable to fall asleep, and too afraid to do so. He kept sitting up and glancing into the building. After the two Qiqi left, he suddenly felt tense and couldn't sleep at all.

He was still worried that if they went and met those people directly, they would be exposed. Once exposed, those guys who did these things were no good people, and it was hard to say what they might do.

Yu Wenhao held his phone, constantly checking it, but it remained silent. He didn't know how long he waited; it felt like an eternity. Unable to contain himself any longer, he decided to get out of the car and walk to the entrance of the small hotel to see what was happening there. If anything had occurred, there would surely be some commotion.

Yu Wenhao pulled the door handle, preparing to get out of the car, when his phone "dinged." Qiqi had sent him several videos in a row. Yu Wenhao quickly forwarded them to Lao Shi. He then tried calling Lao Shi, but Lao Shi's phone was always busy. Yu Wenhao knew that Lao Shi was up and running.

After sending the video to Lao Shi, Yu Wenhao breathed a sigh of relief. Now all he had to do was wait for Qiqi and Qiqi to come back.

After waiting a while, he saw two people run out of the main hall on the first floor, cross the courtyard, and then run out the main gate. The remaining people also walked to the gate, stood there, looking at each other, seemingly at a loss. Then, someone said something, and they all walked towards the gate.

Yu Wenhao quickly got out of the car and went into the lobby on the first floor. He saw several security guards and company employees standing there, looking bewildered. None of them were there anymore.

Yu Wenhao quickly turned around, intending to go check on that small hotel. Just as he stepped out the door, his phone rang; it was Qiqi.

Yu Wenhao quickly answered the phone, and Qiqi called out, "Brother Yu, those people have been taken away by the police. And, and, those people are here, a lot of them are here."

Yu Wenhao said, "Okay, I'll be right there." He knew that the people Qiqi was talking about were two different groups of people.

Yu Wenhao quickly called Lao Shi. This time, the call went through, and before Yu Wenhao could even speak, Lao Shi said, "They've caught them, Xiao Yu. Those guys have been caught."

Yu Wenhao said, "I understand, Lao Shi. But just as we thought, those people have already left your company and gone to find Xiao Fu's parents."

"Xiaoyu, where are you now?" Lao Shi asked.

Yu asked, "I just left your company building and am about to go there."

"No, no, Xiao Yu, it's no use for you to go alone. Don't hang up, I'm on my way. Go back into the building immediately and find Manager Pan from the security department, and have him answer the phone."

Yu Wenhao quickly ran back, entered the building, and asked a security guard, "Where is your Manager Pan? Chairman Shi is looking for him."

The security guard shouted, "Manager Pan, the chairman is looking for you."

A man in his thirties, dressed in a suit and holding a walkie-talkie, ran over from some corner of the lobby. Yu Wenhao handed him the phone, and he took it and said:

"Chairman, it's me, Xiao Pan."

Old Shi said on the phone, "Take your men over there immediately and bring out Xiao Fu's parents and the other two girls. Also, take them to the Haiwaihai Hotel. Settle Xiao Fu's parents in, and have the two girls wait there too. The police will be coming to take their statements."

Manager Pan said, "Okay, I understand, Chairman."

Manager Pan handed the phone back to Yu Wenhao and called out to the security guards, "Come on, all of you, come with me."

Then he picked up the walkie-talkie and shouted, "Everyone, assemble at the main gate!"

Yu Wenhao followed them out.

They arrived at the second floor of the small hotel. The corridor and Xiao Fu's parents' room were full of people. Manager Pan was holding a walkie-talkie, pointing and shouting at them:

"Get out of my way, all of you. The police are involved now. Anyone who causes trouble will be taken to the police station. You're useless here, and it won't do you any good either. Go find whoever sent you."

Someone shouted, "That bastard's been arrested by the police, how are we supposed to find him?"

Manager Pan glared at the person who spoke: "Then go to the police station and look for it. What, do you want me to take you there?"

The person who had spoken shrank back and fell silent. The others knew that this matter had blown up, so they didn't dare to cause any more trouble and just watched as Manager Pan and his group took Xiao Fu's parents and cousin away.

Manager Pan and Yu greeted them and took Xiao Fu's parents and cousin to the Haiwaihai Hotel for accommodation. The police arrived and took statements from Xiao Fu's parents and the two Qiqis before leaving.

Yu Wenhao was about to leave with the two Qiqi when Old Shi arrived. He looked at Yu Wenhao, then at the two Qiqi, and said happily:

The four men sat down in a private room on the second floor. Old Shi took out 30,000 yuan from his bag, placed it in front of each of the three men, and said to them:
