On Halloween night, the Great Hall of Hogwarts was brightly lit.

Thousands of live bats fluttered and flew across the walls and ceiling, while flickering firelight shone from inside the pumpkin.

But Lowe wasn't at the dining table. He was walking alone in the empty hallway.
