The person is at Hogwarts, but the system is in Middle-earth!

Chapter 38: Raiding and Dungeon Conquering!

Night fell over Hogwarts.

When Harry, Ron, and Hermione, wearing invisibility cloaks, cautiously made their way to the fourth-floor corridor, they were surprised to find someone already waiting for them there.

Rowe leaned against a stone pillar in the corridor, moonlight shining on his slightly oversized Hufflepuff robe.

"Love?" Harry exclaimed in surprise, lifting a corner of his Invisibility Cloak. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm waiting for my teammates." Luo Wei straightened up, his gaze sweeping over the three of them. "System... well, I mean, my intuition tells me that tonight is the moment of decisive battle."

"Listen, Rowe, this is dangerous," Hermione said urgently in a low voice. "We have to stop them...you know who it is. This isn't like they're sneaking into the kitchen for a midnight snack."

"I know." Rowe's eyes turned serious. "Do you remember what I said after the troll war?"

The three of them paused for a moment. Memories of that night in the women's restroom flooded back.

“Never face the darkness alone,” Rowe repeated softly. “That is the duty of rangers and warriors. Since you have decided to find the One Ring… I mean, to find the Philosopher's Stone, then the Fellowship of the Ring cannot be without me.”

He patted the frying pan at his waist. "Besides, who else will take the knife for you besides me?"

Harry looked into Rowe's determined eyes and finally nodded.

"Okay," Harry said, "but we need to hurry. Stay close."

...

At the end of the fourth-floor corridor, the forbidden wooden door was ajar.

"Looks like someone's already gone in." Harry pushed open the door, and a foul stench hit him.

Louie, the three-headed dog, was lying on the trapdoor, its three enormous heads drooping over its paws, emitting thunderous snores. Beside its paws, an old-looking harp was automatically playing a soothing melody.

[Encounter Boss: Kaharos the Wolf]

[Status: Sleeping (Remaining Time: 00:00:10)]

"It's a harp," Hermione whispered, "It must have been left by the person who came in earlier. He cast an automatic playing spell on it... It seems he's already gone down."

"It will stay asleep as long as the music keeps playing." Harry revealed a secret that Hagrid had told him when he was drunk one day. "Hagrid said that Fluffy is actually easy to deal with. Just play some music for it and it will fall asleep immediately."

"So I brought this too." Harry pulled a rough wooden flute from his pocket, which he had specially carved for tonight.

Suddenly, one of the harp strings snapped, and the melody came to an abrupt end.

Louie's ears twitched, and all three heads rose at the same time, six dim yellow eyes shining in the darkness, a low growl emanating from their throats.

"Quick! Blow!" Ron shouted in terror.

Harry quickly put the flute in his mouth, but because he was so nervous, his fingers were trembling, and he could only whistle out a sharp and piercing sound.

Lou Williams was enraged. The middle head opened its blood-red maw, revealing fangs, and foul-smelling saliva dripped onto the ground.

"let me!"

Lowe stepped forward, blocking the crowd. He pulled a wooden flute, still covered in bark, from his pocket. It was a gift from Susan, supposedly to help him practice his "artistic cultivation."

He brought the wooden flute to his lips, closed his eyes, and the image of the golden wheat fields of the Charles River appeared in his mind.

Woo-too-

A sound... extremely off-key, like a duck being choked, came from the flute hole.

Harry covered his ears in pain, and Hermione frowned as well.

However, in the system's judgment:

[Skill Release: Requiem for My Hometown]

【Effect: Forced Hypnosis (Targets Beast-type Units)】

Louie's fierce gaze instantly became dazed. The eerie melody seemed to have some kind of incredible magic on this hellhound, or perhaps it was simply so awful that it felt like fainting.

Its eyelids grew heavier and heavier, its head began to shake, and finally it collapsed back to the ground with a thud, snoring loudly.

"Don't stop! Keep blowing!" Ron shouted, afraid that the monster would wake up again.

Rowe puffed out his cheeks and played "About the Hobbit," a tune that only he himself thought sounded quite good, while gesturing for the others to open the trapdoor.

Harry struggled to open the trapdoor, revealing a bottomless black hole below.

"I'll jump first!" Harry said. "I'll signal if anything happens."

He leaped and disappeared into the darkness. Then Ron, and then Hermione.

After playing the last note, Lowe watched as Louie fell into a deep sleep, stuffed the flute back into his pocket, and then jumped down as well.

...

[Current Floor: B2 - Deep Pit Tentacles]

Lowe felt himself land on something soft.

"Thank goodness, it's just a plant," Ron's voice came from the darkness. "It's soft here..."

"Don't move!" Hermione screamed. "It's the Devil's Web!"

[Encountered Monster: Moria Tentacle Monster]

Weakness: Strong light/fire

Before he finished speaking, the originally soft vines suddenly seemed to come alive, quickly wrapping around Luo Wei's ankles and wrists, tightening their grip.

Harry and Ron, who were standing nearby, also suffered. Vines wrapped around their chests like snakes.

"Relax! If you don't move, it won't hurt you!" Hermione shouted. Because she reacted quickly, she had already broken free of her restraints and was standing on the stone platform next to her.

"I don't think relaxing will work on the tentacle monster!" Ron screamed in terror as he struggled desperately, only to be entangled even more tightly.

"I...can't move either!" Harry gritted his teeth, trying to reach for his wand, but his wrist was locked tightly by vines, making it difficult to even breathe.

Rowe felt the air being forced out of his lungs. He tried to pull out the throwing knife, but his arm wouldn't move. On the system panel, his health bar was slowly decreasing.

[Warning: Asphyxiation assessment in progress...]

"Light! Hermione!" Rowe roared with all his might, "This thing is a demon from the underworld! It fears light! Use Arnor's Fire!"

"What, Arnold?" Hermione was taken aback, but she immediately understood what Rowe meant. Sometimes, you only need to listen to the second half or the last word of what Rowe says.

She raised her wand and cried out, "Incendio!"

A burst of flame erupted from the tip of her staff, illuminating the entire pit.

The vines hissed like screams the moment they came into contact with light and heat, and quickly retreated, releasing their prey.

Thump, thump, thump.

Rowe, Harry, and Ron all fell to the ground one after another.

"Cough cough..." Luo Wei got up, looked at the tentacles retreating into the shadows, and touched his neck with lingering fear. "Well done, Elf Princess. Your flames have purified this place of filth."

Hermione rolled her eyes, but a slight smile played on her lips. "Stop being silly, Rowe. It's just a regular bluebell flame."

"That thing almost strangled us." Harry rubbed his wrist as he stood up, looking around with lingering fear. "Thanks, Hermione. And you, Rowe, your warning came at just the right time."

...

[Current Layer: B3 - Mechanical Bee Colony]

They walked through a stone corridor and came to a brightly lit room.

Countless winged creatures hovered overhead, emitting a dense buzzing sound, like a shimmering cloud.

"Is it a bird?" Harry asked, tilting his head back.

"No." Luo Wei narrowed his eyes. In the system's view, those things appeared as red hostile dots. "Those are keys."

[Encountered Unit: Mechanical Killer Bee]

Objective: Seize the Brood Core (Gringotts Old Key)

At the far end of the room was a heavy wooden door. Several flying brooms lay beside it.

"We need that old big key." Harry pointed to the swarm of keys flying around him, his Seeker's eyesight allowing him to quickly lock onto the target. "Look, that's the one with the broken wing; it's the oldest one."

"This is probably some kind of trial," Ron said, looking at the brooms. "We have to fly up and catch it."

"Leave it to me." Harry grabbed a broom, his eyes focusing. "This is what I'm good at."

"Be careful, Harry," Rowe warned. "Those things don't look like peace doves."

Harry nodded, hopped on his broom, and took to the air.

However, the moment he took off, the group of keys that had been flying aimlessly suddenly seemed to be activated, rushing towards him frantically, like a swarm of enraged wasps.

"They're attacking Harry!" Ron shouted.

"Cover him!" Rowe shouted.

He instinctively pulled a knife from the belt under his robe—it was a "Noldor throwing knife" he had bought earlier.

He raised his knife, aiming at a key that was hurtling towards Harry, but then hesitated.

"Tsk, this is a good thing, it's a waste to use it to break keys... and it wouldn't be good if it pierced Harry."

Lowe shoved the throwing knife back into his belt and bent down to pick up a few pieces of pebbles from the ground.

[Skill: Hobbit Throwing]

Accuracy: 95%

"Whoosh!"

A stone flew out with a whistling sound and struck a key that was trying to hit Harry on the back of the head.

"Petrify them all!" Hermione cast a spell from below, clearing away obstacles for Harry.

Loewe was like a human cannon, constantly sending stones flying from his hand.

"Left! Harry! Three o'clock!" Rowe commanded as he threw the object.

"Got it!" Harry shouted in the air, making a graceful dive to avoid the cluster of keys and grabbing the injured large key.

"Got it!"

He tossed the key to Ron, who quickly inserted it into the lock and twisted it hard.

The door opened.

Harry landed quickly, panting and with disheveled hair.

"Your throwing technique is really good, Rowe," Harry said with a smile, wiping his brow. "You were just like a Quidditch hitter."

"In my hometown, we use this to hunt rabbits." Rowe dusted off his hands, but his eyes remained serious.

He looked at the open door.

A cold wind blew out from inside, accompanied by an unsettling silence.

[High-energy warning ahead]

[Entering Area: Pelennor Plain]

"Next level." Rowe drew his wand and used his other hand to untie the frying pan from his waist.

"Are you ready, Fellowship of the Ring?"
