I asked the editor about the 200,000-word article, and the data from Que Shi wasn't good enough to be published, which was expected. The readership is still quite low.

Then, let's talk about the plot. Many people have said that my plot is too slow, which may be a problem with my writing habits.

And there are always more stories at the beginning of the school year. As the story progresses, the pace accelerates. For example, in the first semester of the first year of high school, there are always various stories, like joining the student council or clubs. By the second semester, things might move much faster, not to mention the second year of high school and so on. The plot will only get faster and faster until the next story begins...

In addition, I like to build up the story, like emotional build-up and character development. I prefer to write stories that progress gradually, accumulate, and then the emotions will fully erupt at a certain point.

However, this style of writing doesn't seem to be suitable for new accounts without a fan base.

For example, some readers have told me that this book doesn't have any obvious romantic entanglements or the main characters' emotional struggles. Actually, there are some, but it's not the right time yet, and the sweet moments will come eventually, but it might be a little later.

Also, I actually spent a lot of time on character development in this book. This character development is not just about labeling the characters, but rather that each character may represent my understanding of the "high school" period, such as the uninhibited and open affection, the secretive crush, the feeling of liking someone but being afraid to approach them, and so on...

Of course, we live in a fast-paced era, and this kind of writing style is indeed not popular. I'm not sure if this is the right approach.

In addition, the recent controversy surrounding the website's new mechanism, which is said to "possibly have problems," has also caused quite a stir.

Some friends have also told me that under the new mechanism, if readers collect your book but don't follow up on it or nurture its popularity, it's better not to collect it at all. This will actually lower the follow-up rate and make your traffic worse and worse.

Of course, this is just hearsay and I can't guarantee it's true. But if that's the case, it could explain why my book collections are steadily increasing, while my follower count is not increasing and is actually decreasing.

Whether it's a new mechanism or something else, it's just a claim. The book's performance might be due to problems with the writing itself.

However, it can really dampen creative enthusiasm, and without seeing any improvement in results, it feels like a stagnant pool.

I vented about some random things. Although my grades are terrible, I will continue to write. After all, I have put a lot of emotion and energy into every story and every book I write.

I don't want to think about other issues or factors. As for how many words I will write or where I will go, I don't have the confidence to make any promises to my brothers right now. I'll just keep writing and leave the rest to fate and destiny.

Thank you all for your continued support, monthly tickets, and recommendations. I wish you all happiness, peace, and good fortune every day.
