Cat Princess and Human Knight

Chapter 93 First Encounter with Elsa

Saving the broken, rocky hills and helping the cats there to rebuild their lives sounds like a crazy idea.

Does Sofia really approve of Yi Yin's idea? Not necessarily.

But after the fall of the royal family, Sophia has gone through so much, and apart from Yi Yin, whom she summoned, Sophia really doesn't know who else she can rely on.

Since Yi Yin is going crazy, Sophia has no choice but to go crazy with him.

They've already lost their families and loved ones, how much worse can things get? What if their cat life hits rock bottom and bounces back, and they really do become a queen?

As for Yi-eun, did he really make this decision rationally? Not necessarily.

After witnessing the destructive power of the two women, Yi-eun felt disgusted with his own powerlessness and was determined to become a better version of himself.

But he also knew in his heart that he had no supernatural powers, so what could he do?

Looking at the more than 700,000 "heart points" in his hand, Yi Yin had a bit of the "what the heck" entrepreneurial spirit of a recent graduate: "I don't care if I can do it or not, I just want to try and make a change."

The rubble hills were created by those two women, Ilya and Astrea, so I'll use the affection points I got from them to plug up this huge hole.

A helpless cat and an irrational man made this crazy decision halfway to the cave warehouse.

Life may not be filled with grand ambitions or lofty ideals; many endeavors may simply be the result of a momentary impulse.

Sometimes, a rash decision can change one's own life, and even the lives of many people around them.

Things may get better, or they may get worse, but how can you become a better version of yourself if you don't try to change?

Yi Yin didn't know what he should do to become a better person, so he decided to do something with his half-baked system first.

Whether it works out or not, I'll spend my "heart points" first!

The roadside was noisy, and the kittens lined up, peeking out one by one, looking at the boiling water in the pot and the corn rolling in the water, their faces showing a naked longing for food.

The adult cats were helping to gather firewood and add fuel to the fire, and were also bringing more corn from the warehouse.

The blue cat butler, Green, arrogantly reprimanded all the cats, but none of them dared to talk back; they just kept their heads down and carefully did their work.

As the first pot of cooked corn was served, Green grumbled as he distributed the corn to the kittens who were lining up.

The whole ear of corn was thrown directly onto the cat's paw, and the hot corn made the kitten toss it around like it was performing acrobatics.

The kitten, overjoyed to have the corn, ran back home, blowing on it as it ate, completely oblivious to the fact that its tongue was burning and its rumbling stomach couldn't resist the aroma.

Back with its mother, the kitten remembered that its mother hadn't eaten for several days, and raised the corn high with its paws.

"Mom, eat, it smells so good."

Looking at the corn that had been bitten off and was still covered in saliva, the mother cat shook her head with a smile.

"Mom isn't hungry, you eat first."

The kitten nodded emphatically and then lowered its head to wolf down its food.

"Mom...when is Dad...coming back?"

"Dad is doing something for the kind lord so that all of us cats can eat sooner."

"Daddy's so awesome!"

Watching the kittens wolf down their food, the mother cat turned her head away and secretly wiped away her tears. Even now, she couldn't believe that food had actually been provided, and that the lord here hadn't lied to these poor cats.

In the distance, only Green's cursing could be heard.

"You little bastards, remember to return the cob after you've finished eating the kernels! That stuff can be ground into powder to feed livestock. Anyone who dares to litter will get a good spanking!"

After the kids finish eating, the adults line up! The second pot is for the adults! Hurry up!

Holding his mother's hand, the kitten looked up at his mother, and the mother cat smiled, patted his little head, and pulled her child to line up together.

Happiness comes too suddenly.

---

When Yi Yin came to inspect the area, he saw the cats lining up for corn. Countless cats bowed to him, thanking this human who had helped them in their time of need.

Yi Yin smiled and waved, then asked Edmund beside him.

"How's the situation now? Is corn consumption high?"

Edmund was now completely impressed; Lady Sophia wasn't just talking big, she really did provide food relief.

Huru Territory may not produce much grain, but that doesn't stop its lord from having knights.

Ten tons of corn were taken out without batting an eye; no one even knew when the grain had been put into the warehouse.

Edmund, convinced of his promise, readily offered his assistance.

This gray country cat, an expert in agronomy, was a master at commanding and coordinating. In half a day, it got the relief pot burning, allowing all the refugee cats to eat hot corn.

Looking at the orderly line of cats, each doing their own job, Yi Yin couldn't help but give Edmund a thumbs up.

Given its strong organizational skills, it's normal for this gray cat to have a bad temper; capable cats are bound to have tempers.

Edmund answered Yi Yin's question with a smile.

"Less food is being consumed than we thought."

We originally calculated that each cat needed 120 to 130 grams of food per day and then took stock of the staff to provide relief.

However, during the actual distribution process, we found that most of the refugees were small cats with small appetites, as well as mother cats and kittens, which naturally do not eat much.

Therefore, the actual average amount of food consumed is about 70 grams per cat.

There are currently about 351 stray cats housed within the enclosure, consuming less than 25 kilograms of food per day.

Yi Yin looked at the happy-looking cats in front of him and sighed.

"Less than 25 kilograms... One ton of corn is enough to feed all their cats for forty days, and ten tons of corn is only enough to feed them for a little over a year."

These cats, driven away by the little lord, were small and had families to care for. They were not strong and had many responsibilities, so they dared not resist and were easy to deal with. They could be driven away as soon as they were told to.

Edmund, you are right about one thing. Some nobles are really despicable. How can they treat vulnerable people with families like this? Don't they have any conscience?

These kittens are so young, yet they have to be displaced along with their parents. How innocent they are!

Yi Yin crouched down and petted a curious little black cat that came closer.

The little black cat initially shuddered when he touched it, but after realizing he meant no harm, it comfortably enjoyed it. In the end, it even changed its position and let Yi-yin help it pet the parts it wanted to be petted.

A mother cat in the distance saw this and rushed over, smacked her little black cat, helped him up, and apologized to Yi Yin, her eyes full of gratitude.

Yi Yin smiled and saw the mother and child off. Even after they had walked a distance, you could still see the mother touching the spot where she had just hit the child, and asking the child if it hurt.

Yi Yin sighed as he let out a breath.

"Parents' hearts are always full of love and worry; this food was well spent."

---

Separated from the busy Edmund, Yi-yin walked to the riverbank, where several adorable kittens, having eaten their fill, were playing and splashing water on each other, looking carefree.

Yi-yin sat by the riverbank, watching the kittens play. The bolder kittens even snuggled into his arms, blocking him from splashing water on their companions, and laughed around Yi-yin.

In the distance, a bolt of lightning streaked across the sky, and Elsa's figure appeared on the ground. As the black dot in her hand gradually dissipated, she looked at Yi Yin, who was surrounded by kittens.

Yi Yin smiled as he played with the kittens, occasionally helping up the children who had fallen.

This heartwarming scene left Elsa, who had suffered scorn since childhood because of her half-cat, half-human identity, somewhat lost in thought.

She slowly walked behind Yi Yin, looked at the kitten that had accidentally fallen into Yi Yin's arms and was being tickled by him, and remained silent.

Yi Yin glanced back and asked casually.

"The God of Darkness? The God of Light?"

"The God of Darkness made me..."

"It doesn't matter which god sent it, don't scare the child, wait for me."

He pulled the kitten out of his arms, put it on the ground, patted its little head, and got up to leave.

Several kittens looked at him with reluctance, and he smiled and waved.

"I'm leaving now, let's play together again next time."

Yi Yin walked past Elsa, but Elsa didn't react immediately. She just looked at the kittens waving goodbye to Yi Yin with an envious gaze.

Turning his head to look at Elsa, who was motionless, Yi Yin said something that seemed a little strange.

"Let's go somewhere else, don't scare the child."

Elsa turned around and gave Yi Yin a deep look.

"it is good."
