The Walking Dead: Starting as a Cowboy

Boom—

The horde of zombies surged forward like black waves, crashing against the shops on both sides of the street.

The zombie, which was close to the shop's main entrance, was propelled forward by an unparalleled force and slammed into the entrance with a loud thud.

The door shattered, and the zombie that came into contact with it also split open.

Moore leaned out of a shop and looked back, his eyes widening in surprise.

"Fuck, there are more zombies than maggots on a dead body."

The dense horde of corpses was terrifying, covering all the streets in sight, and the intensely dark, blood-red color painted over the shops on both sides of the horde.

The shop facades were shattered, and zombies swarmed in.

Hiding inside a shop is a sure way to die.

Mo Erhou broke out in a cold sweat, glanced back at the team members walking out of the shop, and shouted.

"You little bastards, run! Do you want to die?"

The reprimanded team members rushed out of the shop, and each one froze when they saw the horde of zombies behind them. The fear instantly robbed them of their ability to move.

The next second, Moore kicked them in the buttocks, and they staggered before barely getting to their feet.

Moore pointed at them and yelled, "Get running! What are you all standing around for? Run!"

Moore's roar used to terrify them, but now they only heard deep concern.

"Yes, boss."

"We understand, boss."

"..."

One by one they agreed and ran forward toward the squad's armored vehicle.

There were soldiers on the armored vehicle; the engine was still running, waiting for them to get on.

As the team members boarded the bus one by one, Moore was about to run over when he saw an alleyway not far away.

An astonishing number of zombies poured out of the alleyway. They were slow, but they blocked the way for the armored vehicle's departure.

With the horde of zombies behind them, it was a pincer attack from two sides.

If the road ahead is blocked, my men will die along with them!

The thought flashed through Moore's mind, and he immediately roared, "Drive! Drive!"

Upon hearing Moore's order, the driver slammed on the gas, and the armored vehicle sped off.

The armored vehicle was very powerful, and in the blink of an eye, it smashed away several zombies blocking its way.

The zombies roared as they charged out of the alley, but they couldn't stop the armored vehicle rushing forward.

When Moore saw the armored vehicle escape, a look of delight appeared on his face. "Fuck, that little brat ran so fast, he didn't even say he was coming to pick me up."

Moore knew, of course, that the driver only had a chance to break through the horde of zombies after hearing his command, and if he had turned back to pick him up, they would probably all have been stuck here.

With a wry smile, Moll turned and walked back to the shop where he had just searched for supplies.

As soon as I entered the shop, two figures, one large and one small, emerged from the shadows beside me.

Moore casually drew his knife and strode forward menacingly. "Do you think I'm a pushover? You think two zombies can kill me?"

With that, Moore viciously stabbed at the figure's head.

"what!"

The two screamed, their voices shrill.

Mo'er paused for a moment. Wasn't this a person? Why did the voice sound so familiar?

The two stopped screaming and slowly walked out of the shadows.

Moore was dumbfounded; it was the mother and daughter from before.

The mother bowed apologetically. "I'm sorry, Captain Moore, we didn't have time to get in the car."

Moore frowned and glanced down at the little girl again.

The little girl held her mother's hand, looked up at Mole with her big, round eyes staring straight at him.

With a dry throat, Moore asked, "Why...why didn't you get on the bus?"

He had thought it would be a grand funeral for himself, drinking and charging into the horde of corpses with explosives, bringing a brilliant end to his decadent life.

Unexpectedly, the mother and daughter didn't leave, which meant that he still had to protect them.

The mother said hesitantly, "We wanted to keep up, but my legs aren't very nimble."

Ok.

Moore reluctantly agreed, then looked down at the little girl again. "We need to find a safe place to wait."

"Waiting for what?" the mother asked instinctively.

Morton paused for a moment, then replied, "Wait for my boss; he'll come looking for me."

"The boss?"

"Yeah, Caesar, the boss of Yellowstone. A charismatic bastard!"

News of Mor's predicament with the horde of zombies quickly reached Caesar's ears.

Caesar quickly asked, "What happened then?"

A sobbing voice came from the other end of the walkie-talkie.

"Suddenly, a lot of zombies appeared behind us. Our men spotted them, and the captain told us to retreat immediately."

"The squad members have all boarded the armored vehicle, but the captain hasn't had a chance to get on yet. A horde of zombies has appeared ahead, and their numbers are staggering."

"Before the walkers surrounded us, the captain ordered the car to be driven. After our men broke through the horde of walkers, we discovered that the captain wasn't in the car."

"The captain understood the situation and deliberately gave the order for us to rush out."

"When we tried to break back and pick up the captain, we found there were too many walkers and we couldn't get in."

Caesar hesitated for a moment, then pinched his brow and sighed. "Is Mor alright?"

"The captain is fine. He's hiding in a relatively safe basement, and no walkers have found him."

"There were just too many walkers, and he got trapped."

Caesar nodded. "Okay, I understand."

On the intercom, Morales glanced at Caesar in the rearview mirror, then turned the car around without asking any questions and drove towards Mor.

The armored vehicle behind also turned around and followed closely behind this vehicle.

Andrea curled her lip. "This Moore is supposed to be the captain, yet he got cornered by a horde of walkers."

"Andrea, stop talking." Carol gave Andrea a serious look, a rare occurrence for her.

Andrea realized she had gone too far, so she shut up and didn't say another word.

Caesar glanced at Andrea, "When we get back to Yellowstone, your training will be doubled."

Andrea's face paled, and she gritted her teeth in resentment. She didn't blame anyone else; she knew it was her own fault.

Caesar glanced at Carol and said meaningfully, "Carol, we Yellowstone will not abandon any of our comrades."

Carol nodded. "I know. Since the boss took us in, none of our comrades have died from being abandoned, and none will ever again."

Caesar smiled with satisfaction.

He was genuinely worried that Carroll was going on a killing spree in Yellowstone, just like when an epidemic broke out in the prison and Carroll killed two patients without saying a word.

Efficient and ruthless.

While Caesar appreciated the efficiency of this approach, he did not actually admire it. It would cause instability in the camp, and who knew if the perpetrators would kill indiscriminately.

The Caesar squad quickly reunited with the Moore squad and others.

After getting out of the car, Caesar walked quickly to the floor where he would rest temporarily, nodding to each of the combat members.

Everyone had a solemn expression on their face.

It seems that this zombie horde is enormous in scale.
