The Walking Dead: Starting as a Cowboy

Chapter 144 Elbow, go inside!

"They suddenly appeared and rescued the group of people from the nursing home. We didn't even know what they looked like."

"If their leader hadn't said it, I wouldn't have known it was them until now."

That's right, I was too impatient.

The governor composed himself, loosened his grip, and gently patted Martinez's arm: "Alright, you get some rest."

"Leave these men to me, I'll kill them all to avenge your men."

"Thank you, thank you!" Martinez was moved when he heard the governor say this, his eyes welling up with tears, and he nodded repeatedly.

Before leaving, the governor tucked Martinez in and offered a few words of comfort.

Stepping out of the ward, the doctor in charge of Martinez stood bowing and scraping before the governor.

"How is Martinez's physical condition?" the governor asked.

The doctor answered truthfully, "Martinez is in good health and there's nothing seriously wrong."

"Then why did he faint today?"

"Uh... he has a mental illness, a panic attack."

"Phobias? Ha!" The governor scoffed. "The person in charge of managing my men has panic disorder."

"What a piece of trash."

Seeing the governor's unfriendly expression, the doctor lowered his head.

The governor glanced at the doctor and asked, "Is Martinez's illness fatal?"

The doctor's eyes darted around, and he tentatively replied, "This...should be considered fatal, right?"

"So what if it's fatal? What's the big deal?" The governor nodded firmly.

Then, the governor patted the doctor on the shoulder and said gently, "Since this disease is fatal, let's not make the patient suffer too much."

After saying that, the governor walked out, but then, as if suddenly remembering something, he paused, turned around, and said, "By the way, Milton just happens to want to study how the dead are transformed into zombies."

"Once the patient dies, remember to send him to Milton as soon as possible."

"But remember to tell me in advance. He's been really into researching two zombies with missing hands and chins lately, and I'm afraid he might miss out."

"Yes, yes, yes!" The doctor wiped the sweat from his forehead and nodded repeatedly in agreement.

Only after the governor's figure disappeared from the hospital entrance did the doctor breathe a sigh of relief, turn around and glance at Martinez in the ward, and let out a heavy sigh.

……

Yellowstone, Black Pine Valley, a small town.

Two armored vehicles stopped in the parking lot outside the residential area. The doors opened, and Caesar got out.

"Caesar~" Amy stood there with a smile, looking at her lover.

Upon seeing Amy, Caesar couldn't help but smile. "Missed me?"

"Hmm~" Amy mumbled a muffled "hmm".

Caesar didn't say anything, but hugged Amy, kissed her forehead, and pinched her cheek: "I go out so often, and you're still so worried?"

"Of course I will. I worry every time you go out." Amy nodded very seriously.

It's heartwarming to know that someone cares.

For Caesar, after experiencing the struggles and battles outside, this warmth was a healing balm for his soul.

"Let's go back." Amy hugged Caesar's waist, tilted her head up, and said with a grin, "The transportation department will come and move it to the warehouse."

"Beth is watching over there, so don't worry."

"good!"

With that said, Caesar had no reason not to go home.

"Let's go, Daryl, Moore."

"Boss, when are you going to have a baby to play with?" Moore teased with a smile.

"screw you."

Caesar retorted, and Amy lowered her head, her face already flushed.

Riding on horseback, we quickly passed through the town and arrived at the stone house.

"We're back!"

Upon entering the house, Amy cupped her hands to her mouth and called out softly.

The fireplace in the house was still burning, and the steam from the firewood expanded and burst, as if the house was responding to Amy.

Caesar never said Amy's behavior was childish or anything like that; Amy just wanted every homecoming to be formal and memorable.

Because in the apocalypse, you don't know what will happen tomorrow, or whether you'll be able to go home again.

"I worked very late today and haven't cooked yet. Are you hungry?" Amy asked gently as she helped Caesar take off his clothes.

Amy's hair was held in place by a shark clip, and under the warm firelight, she looked very gentle and virtuous.

Caesar stood still, smiling as he stared at Amy.

"What's wrong? Is there something on my face?" Amy hung her clothes on the hanger, turned her head and found Caesar staring at her.

Caesar nodded.

"Huh? Help me get it down." Amy touched it herself, but didn't find anything. She then walked up to Caesar with her face raised.

Caesar looked at it carefully and nodded seriously: "Hmm, it's kind of pretty."

Amy paused for a moment, then exclaimed shyly, "Oh dear!"

Then, Amy buried her head in Caesar's chest, greedily inhaling his scent.

Caesar had a faint scent of wood and laundry detergent on her, which gave her a sense of peace.

"Mwah~" Amy lifted her face, gesturing for Caesar to kiss her.

"mua~"

Caesar lowered his head and kissed Amy deeply.

After a few kisses, Caesar picked up Amy and walked towards the bedroom.

A moment later, Amy ran out of the bedroom, her face flushed and her hair disheveled. She said irritably, "Wait a minute, eat your food first."

Amy ran her fingers through her hair, curled it, and clipped it in place with a hair clip.

"Fine, fine, fine." Caesar walked out of the bedroom with a helpless expression.

Seeing Caesar's expression, Amy grinned mischievously, threw herself into Caesar's arms, and touched his lower lip with her finger. "Here's what you'll do if you obediently cook for me."

"Then, I'll give you a surprise tonight, how about it?"

Amy tilted her head, blinked, and gave him a seductive look.

Caesar smiled indulgently, "Alright, alright, I'll cook for you."

"What should we do tonight?"

"Hmm, let me think." Amy put her hands on her hips, looked at the cutting board and thought, her mouth puffing out slightly like a little squirrel.

Caesar leaned on the table, his eyes fixed on Amy.

"I've got it." Amy held up one finger and said with a smile, "Tomato and egg stir-fry, beef stir-fry with green peppers, and lamb roasted by Mrs. Morales."

"How is it?"

"Hmm, not bad at all." Caesar seized the opportunity to praise.

"Hey, right?" Amy's smug little eyes made her look mischievous.

With Caesar's deliberate speed, the two quickly finished preparing and eating dinner.

"Elbow, come inside!"

"Oh, wait a minute, let me take a shower first!"

After a difficult shower, we finally got down to business.

Under Caesar's burning gaze, Amy produced a suit that made everyone blush.

"Where did this come from?"

Amy's ears turned bright red, and she lowered her head: "The combat team found it when they went to look for winter clothes. I took it from the warehouse."

Seeing that Caesar did not respond, Amy looked up.

Caesar pounced at them.

"Mmm~"
