The two sat in the back seat, the car so quiet they could hear each other breathing.

Liu Yunshu sat close to the car door, her light apricot-colored skirt unconsciously clenched in her palm, wrinkling slightly.

Liu Chengyan turned his head to look at the street scene passing by outside the window.

His gaze, though behind the gold-rimmed glasses, would occasionally drift through the reflection in the car window to the person beside him.

Her profile was soft, and her porcelain-white skin had a hazy glow under the warm light inside the car.

Even the tips of her reddened ears concealed a youthful shyness, and every move she made revealed an unconscious softness.

His fingertips unconsciously rubbed the fabric of his suit on his knees, and his Adam's apple bobbed almost imperceptibly.

The subtle flutter in my heart spread much faster than I had expected.

"Have you decided on a theme for your final entries?" Ryu Seung-yeon broke the silence first, his voice deep and warm.

Liu Yunshu snapped back to reality, nodded hurriedly, and said in a soft, gentle voice, "I...I've thought it through. It's about the sunset and the Ferris wheel..."

As soon as the words left her mouth, a shy blush uncontrollably spread across her face, even her fair earlobes were tinged with a faint pink.

Liu Chengyan paused slightly as he stroked her fingertips, taking in the undisguised sweetness in her eyes through the reflection in the car window.

The little rabbit's shy, lovesick appearance is truly endearing, and... exceptionally alluring.

Unfortunately, this touching scene was brought to life by another man.

A faint, almost chilling smile curved his lips, and his gaze behind his gold-rimmed glasses darkened.

"It's a gentle theme, actually."

He withdrew his gaze and looked out the window again. His voice was still gentle, but it carried a hint of detachment and coolness.

"Capturing light and shadow is the ultimate test of skill. You have a meticulous nature, so I'm sure you can create moving paintings."

Liu Yunshu didn't detect the subtle change in his tone, taking it as a genuine compliment. Her cheeks flushed even more, and she softly hummed in agreement.

The carriage returned to silence, but this silence carried an inexplicable tension.

Liu Chengyan tapped his knees lightly with his fingertips, the rhythm slow and regular, as if he were calculating something.

The light in his eyes flickered, concealing thoughts that others could not understand.

Just then, the car reached an intersection.

Suddenly, without warning, an electric bicycle sped out from in front of us!

Driver Xiao Zhang's pupils contracted, and out of instinct, he swerved sharply to avoid the danger!

"ah--!"

The intense centrifugal force made Liu Yunshu cry out in alarm, and she completely lost control, being violently thrown to her side!

She was caught off guard and bumped into an embrace that carried a cool, woody scent and a steady body temperature.

"Well……"

She gasped softly, her fingertips instinctively gripping the lapel of his suit jacket, her knuckles turning white with panic.

She looked up at Liu Chengyan in a panic, her eyes filled with tears of fear and helplessness, like a frightened little rabbit.

Almost instinctively, Liu Chengyan stretched out his arms and firmly wrapped them around her waist.

With my palm pressed against that delicate fabric, I could clearly feel the supple and slender waist, as if it would break at the slightest pressure.

A warm, soft sensation crashed into my arms, carrying the sweet scent unique to a young girl, seeping into my nostrils with each breath.

It made his heart itch, and he unconsciously tightened his grip on her waist.

His fingertips even unconsciously brushed against the delicate fabric on her waist.

Feeling the subtle, uncontrollable trembling of the body in my arms.

A feeling of satisfaction, control, and secret pleasure quietly grew and spread in his heart.

Driver Xiao Zhang quickly apologized, "I'm so sorry, Mr. Liu. An electric scooter suddenly darted out from the intersection, and in my haste, I swerved and lost my balance..."

Liu Chengyan's gaze remained fixed on the panicked little face of the person in his arms.

His voice, however, had returned to its usual calm, even carrying a hint of barely perceptible coldness: "Be more careful next time."

Xiao Zhang readily agreed, his grip on the steering wheel tightening.

Liu Yunshu struggled to get up, her voice trembling as if she were about to cry: "Mr. Liu... please... please let me go..."

Liu Chengyan did not immediately let go of her; instead, the arms around her waist tightened slightly.

He lowered his eyes, his gaze almost greedily tracing her current appearance.

An alluring blush on her porcelain-white cheeks, and long eyelashes that fluttered in alarm like butterfly wings.

The glistening tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to spill over.

And that chest rising and falling slightly with rapid breathing...

Every detail exudes extreme fragility and pitifulness.

This also aroused his deeper desire to completely control this vulnerability.

His fingertips, with a deliberately slowed, almost intimate touch, slid lightly across the fabric at her waist.

A fine shiver ran through Liu Yunshu's body, and her struggling movements became increasingly frantic.

But because the force was too light, it looked like she was gently snuggling in his arms, adding to her soft and endearing charm.

"Don't move."

His voice was extremely low, with a hint of hoarseness from being steeped in desire.

The warm breath brushed against her already red and sensitive earlobes.

"The car isn't completely stable yet, be careful not to fall again."

The words sounded like they were full of concern and had good reason to speak.

But the arms that bound her and the wandering fingertips clearly revealed a completely different intention.

Liu Yunshu's tears were already welling up in her eyes, but she stubbornly refused to let them fall.

She bit her soft lips, her voice filled with deep grievance and panic:

"I...I'm alright now, Mr. Liu, please let me go..."

Her voice was so soft it sounded like she was pleading, and her eyes were brimming with tears, making her look so pitiful.

But Liu Chengyan seemed to derive some strange pleasure from her extreme helplessness.

His gaze behind his glasses was unfathomable, like a whirlpool.

His fingertips lingered for a moment on the slight indentation at the side of her waist.

Only then, at a torturous pace, did they loosen their grip.

"Okay, be careful." His tone remained gentle.

But as she struggled to sit up, his fingertips inadvertently brushed against the back of her hand.

The warm touch sent a jolt through Liu Yunshu like an electric current, causing her to abruptly pull her hand back.

She shifted her body to the side, trying to create as much distance as possible from him, her back pressed tightly against the car door.

Like a frightened little animal, she looked at him warily, her eyes filled with panic and shyness.

Her porcelain-white cheeks were still flushed, and the tears in her eyes had not yet faded, making her look especially pitiful.

Liu Chengyan calmly straightened the front of his suit jacket, which she had slightly wrinkled.

His gaze swept calmly over her still-shaken appearance, and the faint smile on his lips deepened slightly.

The fingertips seemed to still be savoring the delicate touch and trembling sensation they had just experienced.

He stopped looking at her and turned his gaze back to the rapidly receding night view outside the window.

His fingers continued to tap rhythmically and slowly on his knee.

But the undercurrent surging deep within his eyes was more profound and unpredictable than the heavy darkness outside the window.

The car finally drove smoothly into the residential area where Liu Yunshu lived and slowly stopped in front of her familiar apartment building.

"Miss Liu, we've arrived," the driver, Xiao Zhang, respectfully reminded her, his voice still tinged with lingering fear.

Liu Yunshu felt as if she had been granted a pardon. She didn't dare to look at Liu Chengyan again and hurriedly said, "Thank you, Mr. Liu. I'm sorry to have troubled you."

He almost frantically pushed open the car door and ran quickly towards the building entrance without looking back.

Inside the carriage, Liu Chengyan watched her hurriedly run away, the dark glint in his eyes growing even stronger.

She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

A few days later, Liu Yunshu went to her private studio in Liu's Cultural and Creative Park to create art.

The studio is large and well-lit, and it has all the necessary art supplies.

The room was filled with green plants and flowers, and the air was filled with a faint fragrance of flowers and the scent of art supplies, which was very pleasant.

Liu Yunshu quickly became engrossed in the painting, meticulously outlining and rendering the canvas with her brush.

The steel frame of the Ferris wheel gradually took shape, and the warm hues of the sunset began to spread across the canvas.

Just then, the studio door was gently pushed open.

Liu Chengyan walked in, carrying a cup of warm milk, while his assistant behind him carried an exquisite food box.

"Mr. Liu?" Liu Yunshu was somewhat surprised and quickly turned around, her eyes full of doubt. "What brings you here?"

"I came to check on your creative progress and brought you something along."

Liu Chengyan walked up to her, handed her the milk in his hand, and spoke in a gentle voice.

"Here's some hot milk for you, to warm your hands and calm you down."

Liu Yunshu hesitated for a moment, but still accepted the milk.

Feeling the warmth of the cup on her fingertips, a sense of comfort welled up inside her. She whispered her thanks, "Thank you, Mr. Liu, for your trouble."

"It's alright."

Liu Chengyan responded calmly, his gaze sweeping over the half-finished work on the canvas, a hint of amazement flashing in his eyes.

On the canvas, the Ferris wheel slowly turns, and the golden rays of the setting sun shine on the Ferris wheel cabins, giving them a warm glow.

The two people in the cabin snuggled together; although only their outlines were visible, one could feel the sweetness and tenderness between them.

The capture of light and shadow is also exceptionally delicate, revealing a girl's unique gentleness and delicacy.

He looked away, his tone carrying a hint of genuine praise.

"The handling of light and shadow is excellent. Keep it up, and you'll definitely achieve great results in the finals."

Liu Yunshu's cheeks flushed slightly, and she nodded gently, her voice soft and sweet: "I will do my best."

At this moment, the assistant had quietly placed the food box on the rest table next to him and gently opened it.

Inside, several exquisitely made Chinese and Western pastries are arranged in layers, along with washed and cut fresh fruit.

Coincidentally, they were all her preferred flavors.

Seeing the surprise in her eyes, Liu Chengyan smiled faintly.

"I asked my assistant to prepare some snacks. Eat something if you're hungry, don't overwork yourself."

Liu Yunshu looked at the snacks and fruits on the table, which were clearly prepared with care, and felt the warmth of the milk in her hand.

My last bit of defensiveness almost completely melted away.

She looked up at Liu Chengyan, her almond-shaped eyes shimmering with genuine tears: "Mr. Liu, you are so thoughtful, thank you so much."

"No need to thank me, I just appreciate your talent."

Liu Chengyan responded calmly, his tone still gentle, but a hint of possessiveness was hidden in his eyes.

"Focus on your creative work. If you need anything, feel free to call me anytime."

His gaze lingered on the glass of milk in her hand for a moment, then he added, "Drink the milk while it's hot; it's good for you."

After saying that, he turned and left the studio, and his assistant followed him out, closing the door behind him.
